As you may have heard, Gori: Cuddly Carnage will be launching physically on 29th October for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch! In the US and ASIA this remains true and we can’t wait for more players to get their paws on Gori. However, we have an important update regarding availability in the UK and EU.
Due to recent challenges in the retail landscape, including the closure of many brick-and-mortar outlets, we’ve faced difficulties ensuring widespread availability of our game. Despite our efforts, it has become unsustainable to maintain physical stock in traditional retail channels. Many stores primarily focus on AAA titles, leaving limited space for indie AA games like ours.
Therefore, starting today, we have made the decision to take control and, going forward, we will only make the PEGI version of our games available exclusively via our store. We’re pleased to announce that Gori: Cuddly Carnage for PlayStation 5 can be pre-ordered today, and we have begun manufacturing for the 29th October release.
For the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of Gori: Cuddly Carnage, we need to gauge interest first. We don’t want to take pre-orders and risk not fulfilling them or make you wait several months whilst we hold your money. By first seeing what interest there is in these editions, we’ll then decide if it’s sustainable and viable to produce PEGI versions for these formats.
We believe in the importance of a physical strategy for our game, but it must be sustainable in today’s market conditions. This shift will allow us to better serve our community, and we thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Again, our orders and editions in the US and ASIA are completely unaffected.

We are happy, we are nervous, but most of all, we are EXCITED! This is one of the most important days of our lives, and before we get into the heavy promotion of things, we just wanted to say THANK YOU! From everyone here at Angry Demon and our publishers at Wired - all of your feedback, bug reports, encouragement, fan art, cosplays, and just general enthusiasm and energy have got us to this point -and Gori wouldn't be the same without you all.
There's a lot going on over launch day, and a few things we'd like you to know about, here's a quick run down!
Our Launch Trailer
It wouldn't be a launch day without a new trailer, and we've created something a bit special for you ^_^ - showcasing the now familiar intensity and energy of Gori, as well as a few special things from later in the game you haven't seen before! But don't worry - no spoilers! Watch, enjoy and share with your friends!
Speaking of spoilers! There's a heartfelt and touching story in Gori (no, seriously, it's not just ALL violence! Just... mostly) Be sure to be considerate of your fellow gamers and lets be sure not to talk about specific story beats for a little while! Nobody wants to have endings spoiled for them on a random social post!
Bugs and Known Issues
We've worked REALLY HARD to make Gori as smooth and polishes as possible. BUT, we are a small team, and the wild combination of PC setups in the wild makes it so that there's always going to be something that pops up!
We've got a dedicated Bug forum now on Steam that means we can see everyones issues at a glance, please ensure you drop any bugs / problems in this forum, and we'll check it out ASAP and update our known issues thread with any solutions / info.
Folks have been asking us for a merch range for a while now - so we figured we'd officially launch some! We'll be adding to this as we come up with some more ideas and hear your own wishes - let us know what you'd like to see!

Gori: Cuddly Carnage is an amazing character action game that will make you eager for its sequel. It’s cute, creepy, and full of carnage, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I had no idea what I was in for with Gori: Cuddly Carnage, and I certainly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Its crassness is kind of a take-it-or-leave-it for me, but it fits a ridiculous world taken over by crazed toys that are in desperate need of murder by a sentient cat friend and his blade hoverboard.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a reminder that games don’t have to be realistic or serious to be an awesome joyride of violence or chaos. The visuals are wonderful, the combat is sensationally stylish and the gore delivers on this ginger-haired cat’s name with aplomb.
Gori Cuddly Carnage is a really fun game that offers a decent mix in its levels and challenges. I did play through levels a couple of times because I enjoyed the gameplay and the humour of it.
