The next batch of invitations is planned to be sent shortly after beta launch, so don't grab your pitchforks just yet even if you didn't get an invitation email on this first round.

The people have spoken, and it’s official—The Immortal Rift shall now be known as Gran Skrea
The people have spoken, and it’s official—The Immortal Rift shall now be known as Gran Skrea.
Unfortunately, this is a rather complicated process and we still have quite a bit of work to do to get the name in place. It’s not as simple as slapping together different words in an editor.
First of all, we need to ensure the proper notifications are made to the lovely people who requested the name change to start with. Then we need to submit the change to Steam and get the final approval to list the game again.
Then we get into the actual artistic side. Our amazing artists are already hard at work redesigning the logos, title screen, and anywhere else that the name appears.
So, the TLDR version is that it won’t happen instantly, and there is still going to be a delay before we can get you all into the game to play it. The beta test is still on the way, but we still don’t have an exact date. We’re excited to have you play and give us feedback to make this game even better, so the waiting kills us just as much as it does you.
We will continue to update you whenever we have anything new to say (and you can keep chatting with us on Discord at https://discord.gg/mAuEVFb)
Thank you again for all of your support and patience, and we'll soon see all of you in the realm of Gran Skrea.
The game's title is changing - vote for your favorite now!
Greetings to our wonderful community!
In our last episode, we left you on a gripping cliffhanger—will we or won’t change the name?
After much discussion and research, the answer is yes, we will be changing the name of the game. This won’t affect the game behind the name, but now we want to play a little name game. Still with me?
The team has narrowed our choices down to a final three, and now we need you!
Follow this link, and vote for your favorite. The name that gets the most votes will be the new name. Simple as that. So cast your vote now, and be a part of history.
Important information regarding The Immortal Rift beta test
Greetings to all of you who have recently joined The Immortal Rift’s community. It’s been a pleasure chatting with some of you on our Discord channels, and we can’t wait to meet you all in-game.
First, a huge “Thank you!” to all of you for being here to show your interest and support. We have to admit that we are absolutely thrilled by the amount of people that have registered to be part of our first tests. Your interest has blown away all of our expectations! This is amazing and we’re honored to have you all here.
We also can’t forget to send more huge thanks to the websites that have helped us spread the word about our game: Alpha Beta Gamer, MassivelyOP, FreeSteamKeys, Pivotal Gamers, BetaGamer, Go Go Free Games, and any more that we are missing. Thank you!
Now, on to the not-so-fun news. Some of you may have noticed that our Steam Store page has gone missing. We were recently notified of a possible legal issue concerning the similarity of our game’s title to that of another game, and with the help of our superb Valve representative we have temporarily suspended the Steam page.
In order to minimize risk, we have decided that the best course of action is to delay the upcoming test periods while we form a plan to resolve this situation. We won’t be able to announce a detailed schedule until this matter is settled, as right now we have no idea how long it will take. Legal stuff can get complicated, and we want to be sure that all involved parties are satisfied with the final resolution.
Don’t worry, these legal issues will not change the game's core features. If anything, this will give our team more time to refine the game to give you an even more exciting and enjoyable experience when we begin large-scale tests.
Please keep watching the website and Discord channel for updates. We want all of you to feel like you’re part of this team, so we’ll keep you informed of any changes as soon as we’re able to.
Again, we want to thank you for all your interest and support. It’s a truly great feeling to see so many people eager to play a game that we have put so much of our time and effort into. We feel that we’ve created something worth your time and we can’t wait to share it with you!
Sincerely,
The Immortal Rift team
