Grand Strategy

Build 0.9.55

1. Capitals. On the first turn, one territory is automatically designated as your Capital. Your Capital can be moved (via drag and drop) on the first turn. If you capture a player's Capital, you take all of the player's cards. If you do not control your Capital, you cannot deploy armies.

2. Interdiction. After the first turn players can only deploy armies to territories that are connected to their Capital.

3. Neutral territories in scenarios now have 3 armies.

Build 0.9.54

1. Two new scenarios: Greek City States and Norman Invasion.
2. The map screen displays the scenario information for a map.

Build 0.9.53

1. Scenarios added for Classic Map and Europe: WW II.

Build 0.9.52

1. Team Leaderboard.
2. Serverside logging improvements to reduce the size of game logs.

Build 0.9.51

1. Drag and drop Special Units on the map. You no longer have to drag Special Units from the fortification panel. Just drag and drop units from territory to territory directly on the map.

2. Drag and drop armies from the deployment and fortification panel to the map.

3. Click on the armies in the deployment panel to reset the army selector to the maximum amount.

4. Begin localization of game logs. Half the entries in the game logs are now localized.

Build 0.9.49

1. Added two new maps.

Pacific: World War II
Europe: World War II

2. Added initial support for scenarios in the UI.

Build 0.9.47

There have been many requests from players who want to discuss their favorite soap operas with their fellow players.

So we built player to player to chat into the game this build.

When you view another player, click the chat button. The player is sent a chat request, and if they accept then you can chat directly with that player.

Alternately, you could use this for challenging another player to a real-time game, or private player to player strategizing during a game.

Happy Holidays!

Build 0.9.45

We're slowly working towards larger, less frequent updates. Hopefully, we will need fewer of these tiny bug fix releases.

1. Fixed chat refresh bug. (Caused by rushing out a build to fix the broken build 0.9.43).

2. Fixed explosions to accurately indicate if the attacker or defender loses armies after a roll of the dice.

Build 0.9.44

1. Fixed missing executable in the last Windows build.

2. Turn Limits. Turn limit games end after a set number of turns.

3. Plague. Four random territories at the beginning of a game are infected with the plague.

4. UI updates.

Build 0.9.42

1. Online indicators. An online icon indicates the logged in status of players.

Yes! You can now tell if that player who created the real-time game is actually online and interested in playing the game. :)

2. Advance arrow. A blue advance arrow is shown during the advance phase.

3. Improved territory tool tips show number of Special Units.

4. A sound effect is played when a chat is sent during a game.

5. Fixed card names that were too long and made the selection of cards difficult.
