I think we all remember the first time a Scavenger killed us. Anyone who played Redux saw this scene too many times! In this remake the Scavengers are far more brutal and much more terrifying!
Grave Prosperity was the title that popularized the sometimes over the top and wacky death scenes in my games. Because of that, this remake will be taking what the original started to the next level!
No monster is safe, and neither are you!
Grave Prosperity Remake Update! -- 19
Got some updates on GP's new HUD & upgrading system! I have a couple images attached to show the addition to the HUD, which are controlled with the the left and right arrow keys or the d-pad for controller.
The pause menu has been removed in favor of a real-time interactive HUD designed to streamline changing weapons and using recovery items without having to stop the action- making combat both more intense and more fun to watch!
Upgrading Amber is now also more accessible, as enemies and events now offer a better balance of EXP. Upgrades include:
<>Increase Max HP
<>Increase Max Guard
<>Increase Melee Damage
<>Increase the effectiveness of recovery items
<>Increase the amount of recovery items that can be held
<>Increase Firearms Attack Power (when they become available)

Now the only major cutscene left to do is the meeting between Amber and Gabriel at the end. I have been sort of dreading getting to this point just because I remember how much of a pain it was a few years ago when I originally did it.
But it has been a good while, so maybe it won't be so bad this time around! Pretty sure I've animated more difficult things since then, right?
Time to get things ready and find out!

It's only taken nearly a month, but the intro sequence is finally complete! That may have been one of the biggest hurdles to make for this project, aside from the meeting with Gabriel. Now it's time to get to the rest of the game!
