GRID 2 Patch - Save File Issue
We've just released a new GRID 2 Patch that will download automatically the next time you load up Steam.
This patch contains a fix for the corrupt save game issue and should also be retroactive. If you previously suffered from a save file corruption it should now be working.

DLC: Peak Performance Pack
The pack will cost £3.19 / $4.99 / €3.99.
North American Cars
Dodge Charger RT – Stiffer suspension, wider wheels and aggressive camber improve traction whilst additional power under the bonnet, an extra gear and stripped out weight improve top speed and acceleration.
Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special – Improved aerodynamics reduce drag, bigger brakes reducing braking distances and engine improvements increase acceleration and top speed.
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS SS 1970 – A re-mapped engine adds more horsepower and torque, reduced mass and inertias give the car more responsive steering and a lower centre of mass and stiffer suspension improves traction and reduces body roll.
European Cars
BMW E30 M3 – Comes equipped with a racing clutch to reduce shift times whilst it’s re-mapped engine and stripped out weight improves top speed and acceleration.
BMW 1 Series M Coupe – With a huge 150kg stripped out, this BMW’s stiffer suspension and increased camber improves traction and longer gear ratios increase top speed.
Free Car
VW Golf R – An engine upgrade boosts acceleration and top speed, a lower roll centre and lower centre of gravity improves traction and its revised differential setup minimises understeer.
You will receive the free car via an automatic game patch.
GRID 2 Patch, Free Drift Car!
We've also just released the Drift Car Pack, which will soon be available over on the Steam store for £3.99 / $5.99 / €4.99.

Daijiro Yoshihara Nissan 240sx (s13)
This 650bhp Nissan was raced to victory in the 2011 Formula Drift Championship by Daijiro 'Dai' Yoshihara.
Team Orange Mitsubishi Evo x
Converted from 4WD to FWD and weighing just 1290kg, its 2.3 litre engine with JUN AUTO custom kits pumps out 570 bhp and has been driven by Nobushige Kumakubo, General Manager of Ebisu Circuit.
Chevrolet "Tyler McQuarrie" Camaro
Powered by a COPO LS-7 V8 which produces 750bhp, this was raced in Formula D by American Tyler McQuarrie.
NOS Energy Nissan 370Z (Z34)
This drift machine weighs just 1297kg and is powered by a Nissan V8 VK56 Titan engine as driven by Chris Forsberg, one of the most successful drivers in Formula Drift history.

Patch Notes: June 21st
• Fixed an issue with Hong Kong that was causing issues with frame rate.
• Pausing the game for an extended period causes proximity arrows to remain on screen after unpausing., this has now been fixed.
• Fixed an issue with the PC Benchmarking tool where control of the car was given incorrectly.
• Fixed livery issues, all colours should now display correctly.
• When upgrading a car online no visual cue was given, this has been corrected.
• Fixed an issue regarding host migration.
• Fixed an issue where transitioning straight from purchasing a livery to an online lobby causes the livery to be reset.
• LiveRoutes now appear in playlists more often.
• Fixed an issue where upon completing a vehicle challenge the vehicle appears in the garage but is not in the custom livery the player has created.
• Fixed camera issue within garage 1.
• Fixed an audio issue on the results screen.
• Fixed an issue with NVIDIA Surround that caused cars to become cut off in split screen and custom events.
• Fixed an issue with music cutting out early.
• Fixed audio issue with Engineer incorrectly saying that you’ve come first after winning round 1 or 2 in a faceoff event.
• Cars acquired from successfully completed Vehicle Challenges are now marked as "NEW" on the Vehicle Select screen afterwards.
• Previous Race Results Reversed order will place players in the grid based on their overall score in multi round events, not the previous race results.
• Miscellaneous: many various tracks / car geometry, stability, string, UI and difficulty balancing fixes.
