GRID™ Legends Latest Update
Since launch, one of the most requested features has been the ability to create Multi-Round Events for online and offline play. With the release of v3.3, you can do just that.
In Race Creator, the host can press LT/L2 to select up to four events to play one after another, without having to return to the main menu.
The first highlighted event will dictate which Car Class and Options will be used for all of the events in a Multi-Round Event. For Events two, three, and four the host can change the location, route, and time of day but the Car Class from the first event will stay the same.
Points are awarded based on finishing positions in each event, so even if you don’t make it on the podium in the first event, you’ll have a chance to turn your fortunes around later on.
New Fordzilla Event
For those of you lucky to be heading to gamescom this month, Team Fordzilla will be bringing their TFZ-P1 simulator for you to jump in and race on GRID Legends for some awesome prizes.
Even if you aren’t attending gamescom, you can take part in the fun by heading to the new Dynamic Events page in-game (formerly known as Weekly and Monthly Events) and compete in another limited-time Fordzilla event on Barcelona.
Set a time in the event between August 24 and September 21 and you could be within a chance of snagging some prizes from Team Fordzilla themselves.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Thanks to community feedback, the development team have been hard at work squashing bugs and making overall improvements to your GRID Legends experience. These include improvements to the livery editor, the ability to clear notifications, and much more.

Photo Mode arrives in GRID Legends
We have teamed up with several partners to celebrate this occasion to introduce the first GRID Legends Photo Mode Challenge! Over the next few weeks, we will challenge GRID Legends players to use Photo Mode to snap some stunning pictures. A new challenge will be presented every two days, so keep your eyes peeled, with the best images, as chosen by the public, will be shared on our website photo gallery. Team Fordzilla P1 makes its gaming debut in GRID Legends
The journey of the TFZ-P1 race car started in March, 2020 when gamers were asked to vote on the package and features of the car on Twitter, including seating configuration, engine position and cockpit definition. Nearly a quarter of a million fan votes were submitted throughout the polling process.
Ford designers then submitted designs based on those features, with an exterior designed by Arturo Ariño and an interior that was the vision of Robert Engelmann chosen as the winners. Just three months after revealing the final design, a full-scale model of the vehicle was unveiled at gamescom 2020.
Since then, it has evolved to become a racing simulator and then a live-streaming platform, being treated to a number of different exterior finishes along the way, including an experimental reflective orange paint.
“We’ve now come full circle; what started as a promise has now been realized by giving the TFZ-P1 race car back into the hands of gamers. On top of that, we’re also creating the ultimate experience of driving the TFZ-P1 race car in GRID Legends while sitting in the actual race car itself. You really have to experience the drive to see how cool this actually is. With Season 1 of the TFZ-P1 project we’ve only started to scratch the surface of what’s possible and we’ll continue to further blur the boundaries between digital and real worlds in the future.”

The TFZ-P1 is now available as a free download in-game for all players, found in the Trackday Hypercars class.

GRID™ Legends DLC - Classic Car-Nage
The new story-based and cross-platform multiplayer DLC introduces a brand new action-filled Derby-style interaction where drivers compete by deliberately ramming their vehicles into one another, rewriting all existing racing rules. Players will bring out their wildest racing instincts with new eclectic vehicles and compete with friends across four new tracks, and further their experience with new themed Stories within the game.
The new game mode is a special series of racing events that reacquaints players with the heroes from the ‘Driven to Glory’ story mode and delivers a no holds barred experience that pushes the GRID rule book to its limit. The first episode focuses on Valentin Manzi, brought to life by award-winning British actor Ncuti Gatwa, as he and the rest of the field wreak havoc through eight Classic Car-Nage story events. Players also gain access to five new vehicles, including a fun-filled ice-cream truck, and four new routes across two real-world locations, the prestigious Yokahama Docks and the intense heat of Havana. Three new sponsored Career Events will also be available with this expansion.
“Classic Car-Nage brings the cathartic and fascinating destructive experience of demolition derby into the GRID Legends universe,” said Steven Brand, Associate Creative Director at Codemasters. “New routes with multiple crossovers and ramps ensure plenty of opportunities for pile-ups, and story mode objectives allow players to work on personal strategies to survive the events. I’m looking forward to joining folks online to cause some mayhem!”
Classic Car-Nage’s online multiplayer interaction invites players to cause even more mayhem on track by challenging their friends, who can play the pack’s content for free*.
GRID Legends’ new Demo Derby-style game mode, Classic Car-Nage, is available for purchase today on Steam. Deluxe Edition owners will get instant access to this content pack.

Special Events, Fog & Dust Update
Along with a list of bug fixes and general improvements, we’ve added a Special Events page with global leaderboards as well as two new weather conditions: Dust and Fog.
Special Events and Leaderboards
Weekly and Monthly challenges are a great way to spice things up with some brilliant rewards on offer. With the brand new Special Events page, you can discover the latest challenges to take on in GRID Legends.
Each challenge has its own unique rewards - plus, we’ve added leaderboards for each of these events too so you can see where you stack up against the rest of the global GRID Legends community, no matter which platform you’re playing on.
If you have the Deluxe Edition of GRID Legends or are playing through EA Play, you’ll get access to additional events too - so keep an eye out for those.
Dust and Fog
Whether you've arrived on track during the day to discover the circuit engulfed in a cloud of dust, or you're preparing for a long night of racing in thick fog - these two new weather conditions are set to dramatically change the way you approach the 130+ routes in GRID Legends.
With fog, visibility becomes a massive issue. Will you take the risk of knowing where you're braking zone is to gain some extra tenths, or play it safe by slowing down early so you can guarantee sticking to the racing line?
In dust conditions - available on Dubai, Sydney, Bathurst, and Crescent Valley - you'll notice a build up of sand throughout the circuit that will change the handling of your car and reduce visibility. You’ll need to keep your whits about you to finish your event safely.
Each of these weather conditions can be toggled in the Race Creator and we’ll be adding them into other areas of the game with future updates.
