GTFO

The GTFO Streamathon speedrun contest

We recently announced our big GTFO Streamathon charity event in June where we aim to complete all 83 expeditions in the game during a 96 hour long livestream. And as you can imagine, we are going to need some help with that. Developers being bad at their game and all of that.

We want to invite the best speedrunning team to our office in Stockholm, Sweden to help us with this enormous task.

We will only count the submissions to Speedrun.com/GTFO during the competition period which starts now, the 30th of April, and ends the 8th of May, 23:59 CEST. It doesn’t need to be verified during this period though. Full Terms and Conditions here.

GTFO marathon stream for charity!

This June, 10 Chambers is hosting a 96 hour stream where the goal is to finish all 83 GTFO expeditions in one go.

Expect to see a bunch of 10 Chambers colleagues struggling (and GTFO veterans not even breaking a sweat) frantically going deeper and deeper to meet the tight deadline. Not to fret, there will be randomizing elements where we make it agonizing even for the toughest of players (apparently, we thought this wasn’t already difficult enough).

This is a collaborative effort between the developers and the GTFO community (more on that soon) and
all proceeds during this event will be donated to charity. Between noon June 10th and noon June 14th (Central European Summer Time) is when it’s going down.

Make sure to follow us on Twitch right now to be notified when it all happens.

Spring sale — Get 45 % off GTFO!

For the prisoners of The Complex the sun is only a distant memory and even when you are ripped from the damp corridors, into the gaze of an unknown sun, it's only to face even more horrors. But yes, let's celebrate spring with a new sale where you can get 45 % off GTFO for a limited time.

The sale ends on the 21st of March, so don't snooze on it too long. And while you wait for the game to install, you can watch our creative director Ulf Andersson break down the trailer for our upcoming game. Maybe even wishlist it if you... wish.

PATCH NOTES - 2024-03-07

Prisoners.

Latest patch changed some underlying systems which made a couple of enemies easier to kill with certain weapons. So if you have enjoyed killing for example mothers more easily we are sorry to say that we have fixed that.

You're welcome.

  • Fixed bug where extra damage was dealt to enemies when destroying their weak spots.
  • Upgraded Terminal commands hashing algorithm to SHA256.

PATCH NOTES - 2024-02-14

Prisoners of the Complex don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day (there’s only suffering) so instead of chocolates and flowers we have a patch for you. It addresses bug fixes, weapon balance changes as well as quality of life additions.

This will be the last patch for GTFO in the near future but we will of course fix any urgent matters that may arise. And continue to support the community with activities, sales and more.

Start the new year with 44 % off on GTFO

We are starting of a new year in the Complex with a new sale, shaving off 44% of GTFO. And if you are a new player, or returning after a hiatus, we've compiled a survival guide.

We've checked the stats, you need it.

40 % off - Less than 24 hours left

The Steam Winter Sale is coming to an end in less than 24 hours, during which you can get GTFO for 40 % off - our deepest sale yet. With all eight Rundowns now in the game, offering more than 80 nail-biting expeditions for you and your team to clear, there has never been a better time to grab it.

Check out our latest trailer for Rundown 8.0 Duality below and join our Discord server to find new friends to play with.

Check out Den of Wolves!

First of all, thank you for following us on this journey the last six years. The success of GTFO, from the reveal way back in 2017, through early access and to the conclusion of the story with Rundown 8.0 Duality, is all thanks to people like you. The small group of ten founders could never imagine all the positive feedback or the number of memories and friends created while suffering down in The Complex. And it’s with that sense of gratefulness, now as a studio with over 100 people, we would like to present our next project.

Announced at The Game Awards, Den of Wolves is our next game. It’s a cooperative heist FPS where you and your friends operate as criminals-for-hire in Midway City, an unregulated innovation zone. You take advantage of the growing need for "unauthorized errands" created by rival business entities in this corporate haven.

With Den of Wolves, we are creating an action-packed techno-thriller – a session-based cooperative heist shooter where you can make your mark whether you have 20 minutes or 2 hours to play.

Plan and execute heists through industrial espionage, sabotage, theft and assassinations. Gather your crew, decide the best approach, acquire the weapons, gadgets and intel, penetrate the security systems and execute the heist.

Missions are dynamic and unpredictable as your crew are thrown from stealth to full-on action and back in mind-bending scenarios.

Den of Wolves is about taking down scores together with your crew – and hopefully gaining some new friends along the way.

PATCH NOTES - 2023-12-14

Prisoners, we are following up last weeks release of Rundown 8.0 Duality with a patch that fixes issues relegated to progression on some maps, achievements and added back the dodge mechanic, amongst other things. Some mild spoilers in the "level design changes" part and more further below.

Don't forget that GTFO is still 40 % off.

PATCH NOTES

NEW FEATURES & CHANGES

  • Added dodge mechanic back, consuming stamina on use.
  • Narrative description is now hidden for expeditions B1-E1 when locked.
  • Updated Revolver reload animation.

  • Swapped 2 snatchers for 1 tank in R8B3 Secondary.
  • Fixed some wave spawns in R8E1 so they don’t spawn from front.

  • Fixed bug in R8E2 where the command “ADMIN_TEMP_OVERRIDE” could be used more than once.
  • Fixed bug in R8E2 where the fade-out briefly stops working at the end animation.
  • Fixed bug in R8E2 where an objective text had a missing closing color tag.
  • Fixed bug in R8E2 where you could get extra time when failing the Reactor Verification.

One more thing

As many of you know, we have spent the last years simultaneously working hard on a new game.
Untitled and undisclosed — until now.

10 Chambers proudly presents:

This is our co-op heist game, set in a techno-thriller future. Take on Midway City as a gun for hire in the conflicts between rival corporations. No country, creed or loyalty — all that matters is the next score. This is Den of Wolves.

The World of Den of Wolves

Near the middle of the 21st century, deep learning AI became an unstoppable hacking tool, used by thieves, terrorists and anarchists to cause entire economies to collapse. The world was desperate for a revolution in the field of network security, and powerful investment firms — backed by Big Pharma, the oil industry, and worse — came to the rescue. These corporations offered salvation in exchange for free rein. They got Midway Island.
