Live roadmap for GTFO in 2022 and Rundown 6.5 confirmed!
The Warden is very pleased with the completion rate of Rundown 6.0 and will be adding more expeditions in April, in Rundown 6.5 – Dimensions://EXTENDED. Scheduled for release on the 13th of April. We also want to give you a first glimpse of what 2022 will bring to GTFO with both a yearly roadmap (see below) and a more detailed roadmap for 7.0 on our official webpage.
These are our goals and things might change (as they often do in game development) but we know that the GTFO community is eager to dive even deeper into The Complex.
The Warden has a task for the GTFO community
After some time in hiatus, the Warden Bot on our official Discord server came back a couple of days ago and is now tasking the community to record their voices for an undisclosed reason.

Prisoner,
We’re about one month into the current Rundown, and we’re seeing improved progress in how the Prisoners are executing their objectives. To motivate you even more we will reward any successful attempts at any of the expeditions in the current Rundown. If you survive any of these, you will be given a limited helmet; the Oblique Tigris.
This helmet will only be possible to acquire between January 27th (9:55 am PT) and February 3rd (10:00 am PT). So get down there, Prisoner! If you succeed, you will get to keep this helmet forever.
We hope to do more of these in-game events in the future – but as this is the first-ever limited GTFO helmet, consider it a true gem. And good luck down in the Complex, Prisoner!
(Make sure to update to the latest build to be able to participate!)

GTFO Rundown 6.0 Destination is live - get 25% off now
GTFO leaves Early Access with the release of Rundown 6.0 Destination. It’s a thrill ride packed with surprises for the players who’ve supported us over two years of development. We couldn’t have made this journey without you and we hope you enjoy the new Rundown.
For newcomers, Rundown 6.0 Destination is the ideal kickoff for life as a prisoner. It’s got it all - crippling suspense, shocking enemies, and terrifying environments where you just know bad stuff is waiting for you (because it is).
Like all Rundowns, this one challenges players with ultra-tough expeditions and introduces never-before-seen weapons and creatures. But there are all new game features we think you’ll appreciate. Here are some we’re particularly excited about:
Bots: Artificial intelligence can never substitute a human teammate, but you never want to enter the Complex with fewer than three prisoners. Now, you don’t have to. Prisoner bots - one of the most requested features - are now available to follow you through the Rundown. They’ll sneak when you sneak, gather resources, and help out when things get messy.
Checkpoints: To make GTFO a little more forgiving for new players without making it easier, we added checkpoints. With checkpoints, a whole expedition isn’t doomed by one fatal mistake. They are totally optional, though. If you want to play the game the old-fashioned way because you have a few screws loose, you can.
Player customization: The Complex isn’t a fashion runway, but we had prisoner customization in mind back in 2015 when we started developing the game. It’s satisfying to offer players ways to customize prisoners in Rundown 6.0 Destination. To start, you can unlock clothing items by completing expeditions.

To thank our existing fans and welcome new players, we’re offering 25% off right now. Your discount will be applied automatically when you buy GTFO.
As part of our community you’ll want to check out the new GTFO website, join our Discord, and follow us on social media.
This is going to be fun. Painful, but fun.
GTFO Version 1.0 sneak peek – and final chance to get GTFO at Early Access price
As promised, Version 1.0 of GTFO will be released before 2021 ends, and the team is hard at work making the final push to make that happen. We know that you are all eager to go down into the Complex, so we wanted to serve you a small tease of what to expect. But bear in mind that these aren’t all the gameplay and visual improvements planned for the Early Access departure.
If you still haven’t invested in GTFO – now would be a great time. As previously communicated, we will raise the price going into Version 1.0, and the Halloween Sale is the final sale of GTFO at the Early Access price.
To celebrate this and Halloween, our all favorite tool – the glowstick – will light up your way through the Complex in a Halloween-ish way.
Stay tuned, Prisoners. Version 1.0 is very close.
P.S. There have been theories that the Rundown concept would be something we will only use during the Early Access phase of GTFO. This is not the case – rest assured that we will keep throwing cruelly exciting Rundowns at our beloved community, also as a Version 1.0 game.
