Hotfix Patch 3.5.18
Bug Fixes:
BF(809) - Throwing grenade while in crouch locks player out of additional actions
BF(810) - Stopping Bomb Action (Plant/Defuse) locks character for a few seconds
BF(811) - Cove water near lighhouse allows player to get below water line

Server Downtime & Release -- Patch 3.5.17
Lots of goodies and some community requests in this patch. This moves us ever closer to full release of H-Hour. As always, full server play is needed to confirm content so we ask for community feedback on changes or new features. Patch 3.5.17
New:
Suppression game mode:
Released Suppression game mode
Win logic based on round end team with highest number of combatant kills.
Updated all official maps to support Suppression
NOTE: MAP Makers must add a "_Sup" level to their map to use this mode
Scope Sensitivity adjustment:
Options->Gameplay now includes a slider to allow players to scale the input sensitivity for scopes/binoculars
Reticle Bounce:
Add reticle "bounce" with recoil to improve player feedback that continuous fire produces random variations in trajectory (realistic weapon fire)
Team Action menu adds Admin commands:
Commands added for Ban and Boot (temp ban) to existing Team Action menu options for Kick (vote to kick) and Mute of individual players
Players with the server password can now login and execute these new commands on players from either team

Cove:
DMO game mode added as requested by community
Updates:
Player Stats--2nd major pass on stats (not final):
Adds new stat elements to game and profile
Setup and execute stat clearance test so are ready for final release and to allow for the newly added stats to work appropriately
Work on logic related to stat displays and percentages
Round stats now added to Profile at end of each round
Update Profile stat display with additional elements now being captured
Extraction Game Mode Changes:
Changes were made to win logic to allow for more balance and less camping
Round now ends in Tie if time runs out and at least one SOF and one Hostage are alive
Weapons related Tuning/Framework Updates:
Numerous weapons and firing related frameworks were updated to improve weapons gameplay
Movement, Strafe, Look speed adjustments for certain projectile systems when in use
Shot block removed on player characters so weapon position not affected by "bumping" into enemy
Bullet impacts now display at the correct location for all players when shooting dynamic (moveable) objects like other players -- will require community feedback in full server testing
Some weapons settings tightened/changed
Fixed audio issues for Specific weapons where FPS was affected when being used (LMGs are an example of such)
Animations:
General montage blending polish
Add new Jog animations
Add IK override to dance animations
Work on lean positioning
Overhauled Animation Control framework to improve element states with overlapping animations playing that use this system without overwriting/undoing states of unused settings
This is expected to address numerous reports of odd behaviors related to animations and player actions
Cove:
Changed time of day
Complete overhaul of lighting, shaders, foliage, materials and meshes to optimize performance
Pathing changes, some additons, some removals
Extraction game mode - changes to spawn locations for both Terrorists and SOF to discourage camping and allow for a more balanced game
Hotel top floor opened up for better movement
Scorch:
Complete overhaul of materials, lighting, shaders, foliage and post processing to optimize performance
HDR Video Options:
Updated to correct some issues where the UI did not interact properly with this option

--Packaging of all game content has moved to the more secure "Shipping" build process that is required as our next stage in the move towards release of game and server content

Updated Features:
Intro Movie Version Reverted
Users on Win7 or those using old video/audio drivers reported a freeze and crash when trying to load the new intro movie introduced as part of 3.5.11. Reverted to old intro movie to prevent the freeze.
Users should however, try to keep their audio and video graphics up to date to avoid similar problems in other games.
Bug Fixes
BF(668): Double Tapping, Spamming, or entering bomb plant/defuse action areas while holding action key will cause the hold progress meter to update without the action/animation being performed
BF(704): Late Joining players to Respawn rooms do not see Nameplates of teammates

Weapons Blocking Final tuning to Weapon Blocking framework
Weapon Stats Weapon stats in Armory are now calculated values based on various weapon attributes instead of the original "placeholder" values
Finalized Rifle Butt action - No longer triggered through the "Action" tile system
- Assigned a dedicated key bound by default to V for KBM users (replaces the previous stance change assignment as there are existing Prone/Crouch buttons)
- Assigned a dedicated key bound by default to Left Trigger (L2) for Controller users (this was the key freed up when the Quick Select system was updated to use a single button)
- Performing Melee no longer guarantees enemy death if they can move out of target path/range
- Accommodates player position discrepancies on the server compared to the client (which is why some melee actions didn't kill opponents after a recent update)
- Allows for melee "targeting" via the crosshairs
- Accommodates hit locations on the target to deal varying damage depending on struck body part (head strikes remain fatal)
