Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

It's been one year since harvest Island release!!! Woooo! I'm proud to have made this game. And I'm also grateful for the fans that stuck around and enjoyed the game as well.

Throughout the entire year, I've been updating Harvest Island and improving on where it needs best. The community has been helpful and most welcoming in sharing their opinion and their feedback in regards to the game. Most of you loved Harvest Island and a few have not. The ones that didn't liked it voiced their strong opinions about the game and they were crucial to me in fixing the game.

Since the game's release, it was buggy, lacked horror elements, and didn't have a strong premise to start with. Now, with all the updates and patches, the game has significantly improved. A lot of illustrations were added into the game, making Harvest Island more unhinged and dark. More different types of jump scares were added. An extended ending that offers more lore to the game's story. Several bug fixes since release, UI improvements, and a developer's guide that helps you navigate in the game.

Overall, Harvest Island is grim and horrifyingly darker than it once was since release. It is a must try! So, Harvest Island will be at a 40% discount this steam Autumn sale as well as the DLC!

There's so much I've learned since making Harvest Island. I've learned what it takes to make a good game and how much time it's required to make one. And from all of that experience that I've learned, my next game will be even better than Harvest Island. It's inspired by Spirited Away!

Wishlist my new game I'm working on called, A Journey's End! And follow the kickstarter as well!

Harvest Island goes Unhinged

There's been a lot of updates since Harvest Island release and most of it has been bug fixes, new content, and added horror. Now, it's time to go even darker. So, Harvest Island will go unhinged. That means more illustrations to showcase the gore and darkness of the game. Pixel art can only do so much. But with the added illustrations, horrific scenes become much stronger and more nerve wracking. The game's sinister undertone will be elevated to a greater height.

There are new illustrations to Becky's story. This helps ground the story and build tension. You'll also see graphic images of kids dying as well.

There are new illustrations for dead animals. This is horrific and gory. All dead animals you see will have an illustration when you interact with them. You'll probably never look at a moose the same way ever again...

There are new illustrations showcasing skeletons.

More object illustrations to ground the world more. Radio, skulls, and other objects. They are dark and creepy to look at. It elevates the immersion a lot.

Added icons to show the day/afternoon/morning/night in the game. Also added icons to show if it's hightide/low tide. This will help the players know the current time and the current tide.

I've also added more unique jump scares. Having one type of jump scares can be predictable so sprinkling different types of jump scares will keep you on your toes.

All of these illustrations will elevate the game's horror/darkness and the game's lore. The amount of illustration in this game is over 60+. These illustrations make a huge difference in how you play and see the game.

Harvest Island is now translated to Korean! And the price is adjusted to the Korean market. It is now 13,000 Won!

I think with these new illustrations added, it'll make the game better than before.

Happy Harvest Island 1st year Anniversary,
Yobob
