Update 2.7.3.: Japanese localization & various fixes
Dear farmers,
Our Japanese hobby farmers now have the opportunity to play the game in their native tongue. We hope this will increase the enjoyment of the game in the "Land of the Rising Sun" as well as inspire those who don't speak English so well. For everyone else we have made various improvements, such as:
Changelog 2.7.3 - Enhanced & improved the tutorial
- Japanese language
Bugs - Stock all now stocks the additional slot, too
- Game no longer shuts down when over-filling a chest with multiple items at the same time
- Shop and smithery now properly shows the correct costs for all items
- Animation fixes
- Sprinkler no longer turns when deactivated
- Weekday-display sometimes didn't show up properly
Beta Testers Wanted - Stranded Sails!
Hi everyone,
We are looking for intrepid farmers who would like to become the first explorers of the cursed islands. Imagine you're ship-wrecked on a mysterious, uninhabited archipelago. As a crafty farmer, you immediately know what to do to prevent starvation. But you must also prove yourself as a dauntless adventurer to finally escape the islands!

We'd love to send out a version for testing to each and every one of you and stay in touch. However, for organizational reasons, that's not possible, and we can only accept a limited number of testers.
How do we pick our testers? To make sure that everybody has a fair chance and we get a good selection of testers with different gaming profiles we'll be sending out a questionnaire about your gaming habits and preferences along with our newsletter shortly. It will provide us with all the basic info we need - of course, anything you enter will be treated as confidential and only be used for beta testing. We won't make your data available to any 3rd parties.

New Update 2.6.6: Balancing and other fixes
Dear farmers,
From now on there are closing times for the shops in the village and we added more environmental animals amongst other fixes.
Changelog 2.6.6 in detail:
- The shop & smithery will now ocassionally offer delivery-quests (announced in the newspaper), this way you can gain gold and empty your stock faster
- We reworked and improved fishing, it should feel more smooth now and the upgrades&skill-level have more impact
- Fences now support three- and four-way junctions
- Steam big picture support
- Steam-Controller support
- Controller support in Editor improved
- We added more environmental animals (rabbits, ducks and fish)
Balancing - The town's smith and shop are closed on sundays now
- Logs value reduced to 20 (from 25)
Bugs - Sometimes the player got stuck when declining an escort-mission
- Available escorts and quests weren't available after a game-restart anymore
- Game didn't always show the "Game Saved" notification
- Newspaper related to dog will only appear after rescuing the dog now
- Newspaper-achievement works now properly again
- Clock will no longer show 60 minutes (which it sometimes did before)
Update 2.6 - Some major fixes
Dear farmers,
Many thanks for your new reviews! Please keep writing to us! The reviews are an important source for improvements and motivate us to continue working on the game. This update includes some major bugs that we have fixed. And beware: vegetables decay now if they don't get enough water!
Here is a detailed overview:
Changelog 2.6.0
- Controller-Support for woodcutting and farm-editor and improved in other areas
- Additional environment animals
- Animals will now fall asleep during the night
- Vegetables will now rot if you don't water or harvest them for several days
- Players can build now benches to nap (not very comfy) on
- Escorts and other missions from the shop, restaurant and smithery will be announced in the newspaper (via a note) now
Graphic - Additional graphical feedback for users about what is happening
Balancing - Children won't visit the farm after dusk anymore
- Additional newspaper-entries (easier to get the achievement now)
- Smithery and shop are now closed during the night
Major Bugs - 4:3 UI bug fixed (in hotfix a few days ago)
- Fishing-tutorial sometimes got stuck (in hotfix a few days ago)
- Players occassionally got stuck while loading into an escort-mission
- "Stock all" now correctly stocks all 4 inventory slots
- Animation bugs
- Dog-Quest couldn't be completed in some occassions due to the dog not being responsive

New Update 2.5: Italian & Spanish localizations and big polish
Dear farmers,
We are happy to announce a new update including new localizations (Italian & Spanish) as well as a big polish. Our improvements in detail:

- Improved performance
- 4 new character-models
- New buildable object: Sprinkler, which use up energy to water your crops

- Added "stock all" button for chests and shop

- Graphical rework (performance)
- UI improvements to increase user-experience
- Troughs will now show their fill height (water and fodder)

Balancing
- Shop-sales increased
- Linux savegame problem solved
- Placing the same type decoration on another will not cost any gold anymore, so that the player can decorate the farm the way he wants less costly
- Generator runs slower to make it easier
- Splitting wood into logs will now gain 2 instead of 1 log
- Droplings & Eggs will spawn less often
- Apples cost reduced from 20 to 10
- Player will only wake up automatically during 7am and 8pm
- Berry-bushes cost less but can not be picked as often
- Lumberjack levels up a bit slower
- Animals will follow the player longer after getting fed by hand
Bugs
- (Controller) Volume is updated right away instead of when the options are opened the next time
- (Controller) Volume can now be dropped to 0% properly
- Localization fixes
- Players sometimes accidently fed animals several times in a row
- Players sometimes accidently filled troughs several times in a row
- Intro-carriage runs smoother
- Tutorial-inconsistencies improved and indicator added to show when a player action is required
- Sometimes the spouse wore her old job's mailbag
- Mouse-Movement adjusted to feedback
- The player's cat will now spawn back at the farm if it was deleted accidently in one of the early versions of the game
