Trading Cards available!



Steam has unlocked the trading cards (finally!). Now you can get trading cards by playing Harvest Life on Steam. So, let's go to the pitchfork and collect the best cards!

New Update v1.9.5



Now you can hire staff for different jobs on the farm and receive active support. You'll probably need the help, because new quests are waiting for you. Visit the blacksmith today and learn more about your first quest: the escort quest! Write us how you find the quest!

Our update comprises:
• Staff! For a certain amount of money per week you can hire employees that can either go fishing, fill troughs (includes henhouses), water and harvest fields (you still have to plant yourself!) or collect eggs, milk etc.
• Chests! You can now place chests in the farm editor and use them as storage anywhere and not worry about the items being sold.
• Escort-Quest! Check the smith from time to time to see if he has a quest for you, more quests like these will come in the future! Tell us what you think about them.
• Fence-gates will open and close automatically now when player or npcs walk through them. Don't worry about animals escaping anymore!
• Items in the shop will be sold faster now.


Bugfixes:
• Sometimes pigs couldn't be ridden.
• The progress- and daily-overview windows sometimes showed wrong portraits and amounts. The current day in your savegame could still show wrong stats, but they will be correct on the next day.
• Wells now work correctly as water source.
• Cabbage are correctly sold in the shop again.
• Sometimes animals wouldn't drink from the troughs even though they were thirsty.
• Russian localization and font fixes
• The generator isn't already upgraded on new savegames anymore (old savegames will still have it upgraded).

    New Update v1.8



    Dear farming friends.
    We are very happy to tell you about our latest update of "Harvest Life", which will bring you some exciting new features!

    • Level-System based on 6 fields of activity
    • Progress-/Skillwindow, accessible through the desk in your house
    • Daily results window
    • Enhanced Tutorial, explaining additional elements
    • Troughs can be filled with fodder now, too


    • Chopping wood & generator minigame difficulty slightly decreased
    • Beehive reward increased
    • Coop-trough water amount reduced
    • "stacking"-problem animals on the same position should be better now
    • Wood now can't be sold anymore as it was originally meant to be.

    Valentine's Day Special Update v1.7.0



    Dung fork and plough aside! Take your Valentine on a romantic date and have a "moo-velous" time...
    On the occasion of Valentine's Day we have extended the love theme in the game so that you can create your own love story. Is there a happy end and a dream wedding for your friendly farmer?

    Our improvements in detail:

    • You can now sprint by using the "shift"-button. Your energy depletes a bit faster while sprinting.
    • Fodder-Production-Machine now requires power
    • The Smith has reopened his forge
    • The town's shop is now open again, too!
    • Controller-movement is now supported. Switch to controller-movement in the options to switch control-display.
    • Love Interest features enhanced


    • Performance during wood chopping improved
    • "Buy Animals" Quest removed
    • NPC Shopping behaviour improved
    • Improved mouse-movement
    • Player sword (base)-damage slighty reduced
    • Fishing-speed increased
    • Rain & storm occurrence reduced

    Bugfixes:

    • Fishing in the lake now properly works again
    • Lighting & shadow problems caused by the improved lighting from last patch
    • One of the male characters was missing his flashlight, he properly has it with him now again.

    • Love-Interest getting stuck for the day after talking

    New Update v.1.6.2



    Dear farmers,
    we added some additional bug fixes in our update v1.6.2. Please continue to evaluate our game for even more improvements!

    • Fishing-Quest reduced to 5 fish instead of 10
    • Increased number of active villagers
    • NPCs will stop moving when you talk to them right away

    Bugfixes:

    • Sometimes you didn't get new quests even though you should have
    • Berries not eatable (yes, again.)
    • Some villagers had clones running around
    • Actions sometimes were colored red even though you could perform them
    • Fishing-Rod quest wasn't always fulfilled
    • Texts on sunny days were mistaken for texts on rainy days
    • Localization errors
    • 20.000 Gold-Achievement wasn't triggered correctly
    • Sometimes not the preffered love interest introduced himself
    • A stray bear right at the entrance of one of the forests was led back to his home
    • Attack-action sometimes was missing when entering a forest

    Significant Update v1.5.9 - We continue to harvest!




    Dear farmers,
    we want to continue working on our game in 2018. Therefore, we start the new year with a new update v1.5.9 that includes various improvements to enhance your farming. We keep rolling up our sleeves for the harvest, what about you guys? Have fun and thanks for all your feedback.

    Our update comprises:

    - Added more tutorial texts, hints and quest descriptions to help players when something new has to be taken care of
    - New Animations
    - New Quests
    - Improved lighting (darker nights & overall enhanced quality)
    - You only need 1 hit to receive wood while woodcutting
    - When you've already done the quests for today you won't receive the same quests again and your grandfather will tell you to come back tomorrow
    - Plotting-Table scroll-speed decreased
    - Actions are shown in red when you can't perform them (because of missing resources)

    Bugfixes:
    - Berry bushes again denied players to eat their berries, we told them that it's their job and they won't be paid if they won't do it. They are handing out berries now, again!
    - You can no longer get stuck in chests
    - Sometimes too many villagers spawned when leaving the forest
    - Henhouses fulfill the "fill trough" quest now
    - The old beehive doesn't falsely show the "harvestable-symbol" anymore before you rescued the bee colony
    - Rarely actions could be (even accidently) achieved from too far away
    - Night savegame: sometimes the flashlight was missing

    ... and many more optimizations done and bugs fixed.

    Big update: Harvest Life 1.5

    Dear farmers.
    We are very happy to announce a massive update, called 1.5.5, which will bring several new features, massive enhancements and several bugfixes:




    • Alternative mouse-control (hold left mousebutton to move), give us your feedback how you like it or how we could improve it!
    • New building: Chicken coops! 6 chicken can live in one coop. Chicken will automatically stay close to their coop and each coop has its own trough. You can build them with your plotting table
    • 4 new characters (playable & npcs)
    • Love Interests have unique looks now (old savegames could have rare exceptions)
    • Alot new animations for npcs and player-character
    • New Quest: Find a new bee-colony for the old beehive on your farm in one of the forests!
    • New (dynamic) lighting in houses
    • Love Interests will now carry a mailbag when they are delivering mail
    • New Achievements
    • Steam-leaderboards
    • Added watering can & new animation while watering fields
    • Trees which are cut down will now remain as stumps until they can be cut again


    • Overall movement-speed increased
    • Eating will regain health now
    • Actions "attack" and "woodcutting" can now be performed faster than before.
    • "too hungry for this action" removed completely
    • Added apples as price for the wheel of fortune
    • Customers won't wait as long for a (unavailable) product anymore and make room for new customers faster
    • Customers won't visit on rainy days anymore (children will still come to ride pigs)
    • Rainy days (and especially thunder) are more rare now
    • Queue for "gained items" display
    • Balancing optimizations


    Bugfixes:

    • Berries can now be properly picked in forests
    • Berry-Bushes now properly show the "eating"-action instead of the "harvest"-action
    • Animals sometimes didn't drink from the trough even though they were thirsty
    • Diagonal movement isn't faster than normal movement anymore
    • Stomach rumbling will occur earlier
    • Children sometimes didn't appear to ride pigs
    • Droppings can now be cleaned when the players inventory is full
    • Trees that are chopped now properly reset after a while and can be chopped again
    • Dead wolves were "standing zombies" from time to time, they gave up on this halloween prank and will properly play dead now
    • Sometimes animals didn't show their correct animation
    • Troughs visually looked empty after loading the game even though they were filled
    • and many more optimizations done and bugs fixed.

    Another new Update v1.0.9

    Attention all prospective farmers! We've published an update with the following changes/contents:

    • Highly desired: new movement- & collider-system. Give us your feedback if you like it!
    • Some graphic improvements
    • Improved target-interaction
    • Fence-gates can now be closed while you are standing on the same field (if not blocked)
    • Balancing optimizations
    • Playerhouse small optimizations
    • Small adjustments on starting map (won't affect 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 savegames)

    • "New day begins" during adventuring in one of the forests caused problems
    • wooden bridge gold cost was too high

    • some quests weren't fulfilled they were meant to be
