Unreal 5.1 Now Live

Live branch of the game is now on unreal 5.1

5.1 Update Going Live

Monday January 9th 12am UTC Helios will shift the live branch to Unreal 5.1 version of the game.

This is not a 1.0 release and Helios is still in the Early Access stage so we will continue to rely on our amazing community to help us test and test and test.

5.1 Update progress

The 5.1 version of the game and creation kit is ready to move to the Unreal 5 branch of the game in steam. You may wish to backup and Creation Kit projects before it changes to 5.1 at around 1am UTC tomorrow.

Unreal 5 Update Progress

Due to unreal 5.1 being unlikely to release till later on next year, Helios will be updating live branch to Unreal 5.0.3 in the near future with some engine fix's brought back from 5.1

Unreal 5 Progress update

Work continues on polishing the Unreal 5 branch of the game and community testing has already begun. However, due to various bugs in Unreal Engine 5.0.3 we have decided to delay release of the 5 version of the game until Unreal 5.1 which will fix a lot our current issues.
This will also save creators from having to re-upload anything if the game was released now on 5.0.3 but then updated to 5.1

You can still switch your game branch over to 5 to try out the game and create things using the Helios Creation Kit.
