New update out now!
Hello, fellow citizens!
We're excited to announce that a new update has landed in Century City, and it features a few improvements designed to enhance your gaming experience. Let's dive into what's new:
🛑 Pause & Play: Your in-game menu now doubles as a pause button in single-player mode. Need a quick break during intense matches? Just open the menu, and the world freezes in time, waiting for your triumphant return.
🔧 Loading Screen Liberation: We've squashed that pesky bug that trapped you in the loading screen limbo. Now, you'll glide smoothly into the main menu, ready for action.
📚 Bestiary Achievement Unlocked: We've updated the requirements for the bestiary achievement in single-player mode. You no longer need to have a Miss Rosebud to complete your Catalog of Junk and claim your well-deserved achievement.
But wait, there's more! We've also fine-tuned a few other aspects:
Single-player difficulty will now reset correctly with your profile.
The elevator in the tutorial match has learned to behave, no more replaying its descent.
Reshuffling your controls? We've ironed out the kinks in rebinding gamepad inputs, even without a controller connected.
We're constantly working to make your journey in our game smoother and more enjoyable. As always, your feedback is our guiding star.
Enjoy Century City at your own pace!
Hello, citizens! Our latest update brings a new feature: a difficulty selector for single-player mode, including a new “Normal” difficulty setting. The challenge you've come to know is still there, just now under the “Difficult” label. This rebalancing mainly tweaks the Others, specifically their spawn rates and levels.
When you next jump into single-player, you'll be prompted to choose between “Difficult” or “Normal”. Your choice isn't set in stone; you can change it anytime in the settings menu.
While we were under the hood, we polished up a few extra nuts and bolts:
Elimination Quest XII now displays the correct weapon constraint to be completed;
Resolved an issue where tickling the ivories on the piano halted interactions for all players in a match;
Tackled most of the gremlins causing the “press any key” bug that kept some of you from progressing past the first screen. We're still on the bug hunt here, so give a shout if it's still bugging you!
We can’t wait to hear what you think about the new difficulty level! Stay safe out there, fellow Adams.

And without further ado, here are the Single Player Update Patch Notes! In addition, here are some juicy news about rebalancing, Easter, and more!
Singleplayer
Dedicated loot distribution
Dedicated waves configurations
Dedicated Credit progression
Toxicity and satiety bar modifies according to credit level
Rebalance
Device Wheel: devices can be selected with a separate wheel from the weapons wheel. They still need to be intentionally selected before they can be used. It is a system to make it faster and more convenient to use otherwise ignored devices. This has been done to make the combat more exciting and add value to the devices!
We rebalanced loot for Things level II to incentivize the player to go up in credit to fight against them;
We rebalanced the Elimination Quests in order to make them less frustrating;
Deodorant is now a Tranquilizer. On Others, while the item effect is applied, the player's Walking and Running "Movement type modifier" become the same as the Sneaking One;
On Other Things, while the Deodorant effect is applied, the Item reduces the following Other Thing acoustic ranges: now it's way more difficult for the Thing to find you;
We reworked the basement system: in this way, we try to enable the basement to have a maximum of storage slots for furniture and give the player the means to delete undesired ones;
Easter Update
We added some funny Easter presents around the City: you can eat our sweet, funny eggs and gain some health!
There's also some loot waiting for you in these Easter baskets: the more you grab, the more you get!
Finally, a big, juicy present awaits you in your condo: have a lovely weekend, Citizens!
Bug fixing
Fixed bonsai remaining watered if it was put in the basement before going to sleep;
Others are no longer required to complete the bestiary achievement;
Fixed the possibility of placing the bonsai inside the basement if watered;
We can't wait to read your opinions on the new update on our official Discord!

In the recent HotFix, we told you about the new duo design: after listening to your feedback, we decided to modify some of its features, so that we could add something valuable to this mode! We want to talk a little bit more about this new introduction, since it is a heavily requested one by the community!
First thing first: how does it work? As always, you have to invite a friend from the party menu and take to the streets together. From now on you can recognize your partner from a blue circle below its avatar, as you can see in the image below:
At first, we tried to implement a more “diegetic” way to communicate this, but we thought that clarity is the most important thing during matches, so we landed on a quite clear blue circle!
When the match starts, your partner spawns elsewhere just like in the old way, and you have to reunite with the Other to cooperate, fight, or exchange items. But, to make the match more “cooperative” and intense, from now on you and your partner can take the same lift to exit the map, as you can see in the gif below:
So remember, Others: cover your angles, put your traps, and… pray for the best.
We can’t wait to hear from you duos players! Let us know how you like this change on our official Discord!
We’ll meet in the City, Citizens!
HotFix: blue circle
Hello Citizens!
Today’s announcement will be very short, but we hope equally effective: we have fixed a problem with the blue circle. It was originally designed to highlight your party member, but instead, it appeared under some Other enemies in solo! Now you can go back to your brutal outings alone!
Until next time, Citizens!
HotFix: keybindings
Hello Citizens!
Today we have a short but important announcement for you: we have fixed the problem of keybindings! From now on you can once again change the settings of the keys to your liking!
We are working on other fixes (for example, the blue circle of the duo that also appears for solo players), but they will take a little more time. We decided to publish this little hotfix, but more updates are coming.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. See you in the City, Citizens!
