We’re not being able to dedicate time to it anymore, but that’s because we’re working non-stop in the Campaign Mode, which has a totally new and upgraded framework.

But the great news is that we have a free demo of that for you! Yeah, again 100% for free (the demo)!




And do you remember the performance problems we have here? Well, with this new framework we have improved that A LOT! And as you can see in the screenshots below, not only the performance was improved...

Hellish creatures! How's it going? 👹

Yes... we couldn't make the gameplay video of the Campaign Mode for this month, we've been (and we still are) busy as f*ck working on the game.

But it's going to be ready in November, without excuses!

🤓 A year of progress 😎

Hi everybody! It’s been awhile, how have you been?

Today a year has passed since the conclusion of our Kickstarter, that’s why we want to make a brief recap about the state of the project 🧐

As you maybe remember, our original goals here were:

  • Finish the Survival Mode
  • Build The Heroes’ Cemetery for all of our backers
  • Create an entire playable level of the Campaign Mode to convince investors

THE SURVIVAL MODE

During past year (2018) we did some adjustments, but the real upgrades will come with the release of the Campaign Mode, since we’re going to make use of all the progress made there.

We can’t add those improvements to the active version of the game at Steam yet, because we’re still working on the internal structure of the engine. But we can tell you that we’re working with the experimented team of programmers at NGD Studios for that, so the game can achieve the best results in performance and porting 👍

THE HEROES' CEMETERY

We decided that this place is going to be an entire level of the Campaign Mode, where all the immortalized souls (from Kickstarter and from our website) rest in Hell forever.

Since our last post on April, we have been organizing all the information given by you guys (names, photos, phrases), and we slowly started designing every headstone, bust and statue. Soon enough, there will be updates on this as well. Here’s a quick spoiler of the cemetery:

THE CAMPAIGN MODE

So here’s where we have been dedicated most of our time, sweat and blood (mostly blood for sure).

As we’ve just mentioned you, we’re working with NGD Studios, who currently our publishers for Hellbound. This is allowing us to create, not only one single level of the campaign, but an entire episode ✌️

Right now 25% of the levels from the game have (almost) final visuals and audio; 50% count with gameplay placements (enemies, items, areas, doors, switches, Etc.); and 100% was already blocked out (”grey boxes”).

Today we have created more than 1000 props with materials and textures; 5 new items; 3 new music soundtracks; 1 new enemy, and more…

We want to reveal final screenshots of the game very soon, but we’re still working on that, and we also need to find a better timing (a day before E3 isn’t the best moment of course).
