Hey everyone! We're starting to release trailers with gameplay taken from the final build that ships next week, on December 8th. This trailer features the basement gameplay segment. As you can see, the basement area is open and you play against the Neighbor who is tracking your every move.

Hello Bendy Halloween Event
Hello Neighbors! We've cooked up something special this Halloween for you and fans of Bendy and the Ink Machine. A crossover event nonetheless.
You might want to checkout your default build.

Don't forget to checkout Bendy and the Ink Machine on Steam for a creepy Neighbor lurking about:
Hi everyone! I was doing some checks and turned out Alpha 4 wasn't available since we released Beta 3 here on Steam. That is now fixed, and with this post I'd like to run through exactly what you get with Pre-Ordering, and what's available for free with Hello Neighbor.
Pre-Alpha - early proof of concept build with a simple house with 1 floor
Alpha 1 - a prototype build with a large house, two floors, and in-between art style. This is the one with the shark puzzle.
Alpha 2 - a tutorial style build with a story intro, and final artstyle. This one represents how Hello Neighbor will play. It has a creepy 2 story house, but less content than Alpha 1. The AI works really well here
What you get for Pre-Ordering
Alpha 3 - has a draft of the final house in a darker setting. AI isn't final, but the house's layout is already large and complex.
Alpha 4 - more expanded house, proper day time cycles, updated AI, first glimpse at fear story sequences
Beta 1 - don't play this if you don't like bugs. This is where we upgraded the engine and while the house was also updated, the AI and stability of the game aren't great. Has a proper intro.
Beta 2 - less glitchy, still rather unplayable. Good for people who want to get an idea of how we iterated.
Beta 3 - recommended current build. Has loads of content, and the AI can finally properly navigate multiple floors in the large house.
Announcing #HelloMods: a Hello Neighbor mod competition w $5k in prizes
Hi everyone! Exciting news today. We've just launched HelloMods in a partnership with ModDB.com. It's a modding competition with real cash prizes for modding Hello Neighbor!
In short, we kinda released the source code for Beta 3, and packaged it so you can add plugins to the main game, modifying to your will. You can build a new house, import new objects, animations, etc. It's a full on modkit officially supported by Unreal Engine.
I can't wait to see the mods you folks come up with. How creepy would it be to run from a Neighbor clown through a sewer?

Hello Neighbor Beta 3 out now: Producers Update
Hey everyone!
I've just posted a Producer's Update in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCduSfzRS2g
TL;DR
Beta 3 is now live
We just released Beta 3 to everyone who pre-purchased the game on PC
We understand the previous betas sucked and there are no excuses for that
Beta 3 fixes most of the issues, we spent a ton of time fixing the game after moving to the release codebase
Beta 3 contains only about 40% of the game
New launch date is December 8
Since we didn't allocate enough time for QA, and had all hell break lose during the first beta, we need to take more time to finish the game
We screwed up and don't want to pretend like it's all OK, locking down into a deep crunch until December 8
Other options were to release something buggy, or cut content -- both would disappoint everyone
Alpha 2 is now free for everyone
Alpha 2 is now available for everyone. You can get it at http://HelloNeighborGame.com
If you downloaded previous alphas, you will get an e-mail with a download link

Hello Neighbor Beta Out Now
That's right, folks! The beta is out now. Go ahead and update your Steam item titled "Hello Neighbor Alpha Access". If you haven't done so, pre-purchase the game to get in on the pre-release action
To access the Beta, go to "Properties" > "Betas" and select your desired version from the dropdown. By default the app launches Alpha 4.
We are aware of bugs and stability issues. Please share your bug-reports in this thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/521890/discussions/0/1458455461498958279/
The beta is part of our release codebase, which is different from the Alphas. We are documenting all bugs in the thread.
Hello Neighbor Beta is tomorrow
Surprise, everyone! Tomorrow morning at 9am PST (West Coast time) we're launching the Hello Neighbor Beta. Everyone who Pre-Purchased the game on Steam will get the update automatically. Previous alphas will still be available via Right Click > Properties > Betas.
You can still pre-purchase the game on http://HelloNeighborGame.com, you'll get a Steam key. The only difference is DRM-free builds on top of the Steam key.
Producer's Update
I wrote up a Producer's Update for July here, featuring the current state of affairs and our PAXWest 2017 launch event.
Set your expectations
The beta will not have major updates compared to Alpha 4. We're being very cautious about putting any secret release content into it. We need to test out updated AI and the intro sequence. Visual differences are minor.
Stay tuned for tomorrow! Tell your friends to "FOLLOW" Hello Neighbor on Steam so they never miss news:
