Hellsplit: Arena Update 1.16 released

Hello, dear friends! We are pleased to announce that the long-awaited update 1.16 is now available! We have done a great deal of work to make Hellsplit: Arena even more interesting, uncommon and exciting.

For a long time you fought bravely against the undeads using only melee weapons, warriors. We wanted to help you in this area for quite some time, and finally added the first ranged weapon to the game - 5 types of bows and arrows. However, the undeads have not wasted their time as they have reinforced their ranks with new units – zombie-archers, who are ready to fire you back at any time. Good luck in the battle!

In addition, we took a lot of other wishes received from the players into account and fixed a number of problems. One of the major changes that may seem to be invisible at first glance is the rework of weapon and object systems, which will allow you creating new weapons and objects in a much faster and more intuitive way, making our game one step closer to the integration of user-generated content.

We have also implemented shadows and textures quality graphics settings into the game. As a result, you will have the opportunity to get even more beautiful picture due to the indirect shadows, or improve game performance by enabling lower settings.

* For correct work of the campaign and purchase of new weapons in the altar, we recommend you to start the campaign again. To do this, you need to create a new profile and start a new campaign. *

Changes



  • New type of weapon is added: bows and arrows. As before, they are available in the altar in both, campaign and training modes
  • New ammunition is added: light arrows, heavy arrows and explosive arrows
  • New types of zombie are added: archer-civilian and archer-soldier
  • New map Creek is added
  • The order of the bonus rounds is slightly changed; the new map is integrated into the campaign
  • The option of shadow quality setting is added
  • The ability to enable the indirect shadows for characters is added
  • The option of texture resolution setting is added
  • Lighting quality and detailing on most maps is improved
  • Overall game performance is improved
  • New NPCs are added - fish and the boar
  • Skeletons body HP is decreased

Hellsplit: Arena Update 1.15 released

Dear friends!

We are glad to announce that our update 1.15 is ready and we are anxious to present it to you!
One of the biggest features of this new update is the Horse, which is available for riding and fighting against the enemies, along with the new maps and weapons designed particularly for this purpose.
Another important improvement refers to the partial modification of the campaign. New levels have been added to it and besides the waves order and quantity of the enemies have changed - all to make the gameplay more interesting. Our recommendation to those who's already completed the campaign would sound rather simple - try it again! :)
So here we are with the complete change log for the update 1.15:

  • Support of the sitting mode is added
  • Possibility of crouching is added
  • Standard avatar's armor is changed
  • Avatar's calibration screen is improved
  • It is now possible to enter the Settings via Pause-menu
  • New map Frozen Lake (2 versions) is added

  • New types of weapon for the battles on the Horse are added (lance, peak and bear spear). The weapon is already placed on the maps where the horse is available.

Hellsplit: Arena Update 1.14 released

Hello everyone!
Halloween has come and gone, but we are still working hard and want to present you our new update 1.14! Here are some new features to keep you all occupied:
First off, kicking has become a lot more comfortable, now it is directed depending on where your HMD is positioned, rather then being on a 360 axis at a single height. The pumpkin bombs from Halloween are new and improved (design and sensitivity wise that is) and here to stay to demolish the undead. Cutting a zombie in half now leaves some delightful physics based guts hanging out of both sides while not having almost any effect on performance! Lastly, we have a new way to brutality execute the undead, first you could rip their hearts out, but now you can rip their heads off!
These are the major additions to 1.14 but be sure to take a look at the changelog below, stay safe slayers!

  • New option of zombie defeating: head ripping
  • Now zombie's guts fall out while slicing him in a half

Hellsplit: Arena Update 1.12 released

Hello, dear friends! We're glad to present you our next regular update, where we took your wishes regarding the training mode settings into consideration, implemented HTC Vive Cosmos support, added new lighting scenarios on the Tomb Of Heroes arena and diversified the existing levels with the new interactive objects. Thank you for staying with us!

  • Now it's possible to call out up to 4 enemies on any training map

Hello, guys! We are pleased to announce new 1.04 update!

- Enemies friendly fire was added
- Now you can smash the wall enemy heads
- Double Francisca was enabled in weapons section
- You can slice enemy calfs with light swords and axes
