Soldiers!
It has been a while since the last Developer Update, but we are back with a new name and a lot of new information!
We realized that calling these blogs ‘Developer Updates’ caused some confusion among players. Some believed it to be actual releases, rather than an update on what we were working on. By changing the name we hope to make it more clear this is not a real update, but a progress report for the next update.
As you may have noticed, this Battle Pass is lasting not three, but almost four months! Not only does this give all of you more time to earn all the rewards, but it also gives us more time to give you an even better Season 3 and before that an even better Maintenance Update! In which we will focus on better visibility and a brand new tutorial for new players!
Developer Blogs
In the developer blogs we share all the tasks that we have completed in the past few weeks, which features are currently being tested, are still being worked on and of course all the bugs that we have squashed! We will end each developer blog with a short look at what we will be working on in the upcoming weeks.
We will not always be able to share all the details of our work. Some items are too far in the future to talk about already. Certain tasks contain internal information that we just cannot share. Every once in a while, we might be working on something we want to surprise you with! We will do our very best to be as transparent as we can be!

BATTLE PASS SEASON 2: ABLAZE

WAR UPDATE
New Winning MechanicWe are adding rewards when you win the war which you can see when a war ends.
Winning the War
When your faction wins a war, you will get +250 Warfunds for each of your active assault teams.
For the entirety of the next war the winning faction’s soldiers and assault teams will gain +5% XP bonus.
However, due to the winning faction being spread thin, all resource costs will be increased by +5%. This effect will stack for each consecutive win and reset on a loss.
Assault Team Adjustments:
Assault Teams retreating from a battlefield have been sped up by 12% which will prevent enemy units from passing by them.
NEW VICTORY SCREEN
With extra fanfare, changes have been made when a battle ends. The winning faction will be more eye-catching and a new game summary screen will be displayed as a tease for the battle report that is already being displayed when exiting an ended match.
Additionally you can now see the fate of participating assault teams. When a match ends and the camera zooms out to the RTS map, destroyed assault teams will be indicated by an explosion as they are removed from the map.
INTRODUCING THE TICKET SYSTEM
This feature allows us to do more varied and customized Tickets which can be redeemed for a number of rewards, such as the Weapon Renaming Tickets and Squad Renaming Tickets found in the Battle Pass during season 2.
IMPROVED STORE INTERACTIONS
It is now easier to navigate for the boosters you need. In the booster screen open the dropdown menu and select what kind of booster you are looking for.

SEASON 2: ABLAZE CHANGES
We have adjusted the XP required to level up your Battle Pass. The XP required for Tier 1 has been cut in half while the XP requirement gradually increases per tier, with no change to the total amount of XP required to complete the whole battle pass.
New Super Boosters have been added to the season's reward table, as well as Tickets for renaming gear and assault teams!
NEW ASSAULT TEAM BOOSTERS
New Assault Team Speed Boosters have been added to the Battle Pass. Activate these to give a temporary movement speed boost for all your assault teams on the war map.
REWARDS LIST OVERVIEW
TIER 1: NEW MACHINE GUNS FOR INFANTRY VEHICLES Increase the danger of your terrain vehicles with new mounted machine guns! There are no maintenance costs on the mounted guns from the battle pass.

TIER 2: EXCLUSIVE RANGING TRACERS [Ratio: 1:5]

Sneak Peek: Celebrating War Victory!
Soldiers!
The war has been going on for days, perhaps even weeks. The two enemy factions are doing their best to stop you, but the last enemy capital is ripe for the taking. You send out your assault teams, join the battle and after a long and bloody fight, you take the last city! You have won the war!
It does feel pretty good to win that war, but an actual reward? There has never been any, but that is about to change with the launch of Season 2.
The current values of 250 Warfunds, 5% and 5% can be changed easily. We want to see what their effects are on the warmap and may adjust them for future seasons.
A war worth winning
Winning the war now comes with two advantages and one disadvantage. Let’s start with the advantages!
Once the war has ended and you have won, for each assault team active during the war, you get 250 Warfunds! This will help you recover your losses and may also help you expand and upgrade your army!
Additionally the next war will provide you with +5% XP for all your soldiers and all of your assault teams! Be sure to use them in the next war! As this bonus will once again disappear should another faction win.
Lastly, we have built in a disadvantage that will help better balance the war. Every time a faction wins, their assault teams become 5% more expensive to deploy and repair. Unlike the bonuses, this effect stacks on every consecutive war. So if you are to win 5 wars in a row, all of your assault teams are suddenly 25% more expensive! The higher the price tag, the fewer generals will deploy and the bigger the chances become for the other factions to gain victory!
