Dear survivors, we've uploaded a new patch version for Highrisers, with the following fixes & improvements:
Fixes
Fixed the issue that sometimes crafting or repair recipe ingredients were consumed, but the craft/repair would not properly take place.
Fixed a bug where crafting recipes would be reset when saving while it was ongoing and then loading.
Fixed a crash that would occur when saving while a receptacle was being filled.
Fixed a crash that would occur upon completing a barricade construction after loading a savegame.
Fixed several bugs that would not properly recreate the visual state of objects (plants would look healthy, although they were withered; players would be all displayed as being on floor 35, etc.).
Fixed a bug where a player could no longer be equipped with weapons after the barricade he was manning got destroyed.
Fixed a bug where Dreamers would attack barricades from afar.
Fixed a bug where players would be set into walking state when saving/loading while they were manning a barricade.
Fixed certain items that could not be picked up (PumpSprayKit, Transformer).
Improvements
Autosave each morning is reactivated.
Items that are dragged while an autosave occurs are now considered as still being in their respective inventory slot.
MouseOver Tooltips now show the stack size of item stacks.
ShockBow now useable.
Aeronautics now increase the speed of Launch Preparations.
All skill bonuses that are granted for crafting are now also provided towards repairing.
As always, many thanks to the whole community who has provided us with crash logs and data, which helped us hunting down those pesky bugs!
Hotfix 1.0.4.a
This fix patches the problems of not being able to disassemble objects after completing the tutorial or after loading a savegame.
In addition:
Fixed a bug where the game would crash upon aborting the opening/closing of a barricade
Fixed a bug where ongoing crafting interactions upon saving would be aborted. They are now paused and will continue upon loading.
Some missing crafting recipes were added.
Fixed an error with spear combat animation speed.
Prevent the assist-bubble on players currently grabbed by dreamers.
Known issues:
When paused interactions continue after loading, the animations of the working player or the progress bubble are not always updated. Players seem to be standing idle. You can see at their progress bar in their inventory however that there actually is progress.
When during the ongoing construction of a barricade a game is saved/loaded, moving the player away from the barricade will consume the resources and lock the construction site in an unaccessible state.
We'll look into those issues next.
Thanks for all the clues and help from the community!

Version 1.0.3 online!!
In Patch 1.0.3 the main focus was on bug fixing and repairing crashes.
Bugs & Crashes:
When traversing to the next building, one now keeps his progress in inventory and skill points. This has actually been a topic in the last patch alreday, but maliciously, the bug persisted for some players. Even worse, we were totally unable to reproduce it on our machines, as it was involuntarily corrected by the test mode we use for testing and bug fixing. Be that as it may: It is fixed now!
Savegames were overhauled, and now loading should no longer leasd to any crasheds whatsoever.
Fixed a crash caused by a dreamer trying to grab or release a dead player.
Fixed a bug where the game froze under certain conditions when a player tried attacking a dreamer that was already dead.
Fixed a bug were fuel was not properly consumed on level transition.
Fixed a bug where flower pots and plant containers wouldn't get focussed properly on by the camera after being transported to another floor.
Fixed a bug where resources were returned upon aborting repairs that were never invested in the first place.
Fixed a bug where flower pots and containers where not properly displayed after loading.
Fixed a bug where the ceiling lights stayed off after loading a game in the night.
Fixed a bug where the players where already standing on the rooftop in the landing sequence.
Fixed a bug where the game couldn't reconstruct the state of unconscious players.
Fixed a bug where it was possible to cheat oneself infinite skillpoints by save/loading the game again and again during the morning (Sorry, guys... ^_^)
Fixed a crash caused by missing reference of a sound file.
Fixed a crash caused by players mannign a barricade under certain circumstances.
Fixed a bug where the number of dreamers is doubling with each load of a savegame.
Fixed a bug where the helicopter would not be ready for launch after loading, although it was when the game was saved.
Fixed a bug where the InteractionBubbles were covered or out of the screen on some resolutions.
The helicopter now also has a "deliver crating materials"-interactionBubble.
Fixed a bug where the helicopter could not be inspected after level transition.
Fixed a crash caused by a tooltip for a non-existing object trying to show up.
Fixed a bug where the skill descriptions would not show in the skill menu after loading a savegame
Fixed a crash caused by players being manning the helicopter during the save.
Unconscious players now no longer have "assist"-interactionBubbles.
Fixed a bug where cardboard boxes and other containers could not be correctly loaded.
Fixed various other crashes and bugs.
Balancing:
Adjusted the difficulty of the dreamer wave, which storms the buildijng after initiatin launch preparations.
Adjusted some crafting- and disassembling times.
Adjusted the dropchance and recipe requirements for aluminum.
With version 1.0.3, the problems with the savegames and most crashes should now finally be a thing of the past. As always, we could only achieve this through the help of our awesome community, which helped us with crashlogas and savegames, so we were able to even find the most devious bugs. Thank you for that!
We will keep on working on the remaining bugs and issues, and then turn our focus towards some of the requested features of controls and item management.
Enjoy the update and see you soon!

Status update Highrisers
Hi everybody! First, we wanted to thank all of you for your ongoing support and feedback. This means a lot to us!
Furthermore, we wanted to give you a small glimpse, what the current game’s status update is and what we are planning, to further improve the game, based on your overwhelming feedback.
Already tackled/Please give it a try yourself:
Tutorial: As we discovered that it has not started properly for some players, while others reported that at one point, they are getting stuck, we have addressed this problem already, and it should not be possible to get stuck anymore in the tutorial and canceling the Tutorial should no longer have any impact on the further progress.
The Dreamer Waves storming the building during launch preparations have been nerfed slightly.
We also have already increased the effectiveness and damage to the spear, when used as barricade defense.
Progress/What we are working on right now:
The top priority now: Fixing the last remaining save game issues, as this is crucial for an overall better gaming experience.
We encountered a bug with the in-game clock, which results in a daytime progression freeze.
If you save in such a situation, the Save Game will get corrupted, resulting in a crash upon loading.
Some firearms still have the wrong production costs - we will adjust some balancing values.
We will also increase the drop chance of aluminum.
Important notice:
We are happy to read about your ideas and suggestions for additional features and content, and what you would like to see in the game in the future! Now, though, Bug fixes, save game (system) stability and potential quality of life improvements are our first prioritiy. It is very important to us to have the above issues fixed FIRST, in order to provide a stable and enjoyable experience for everyone, before adding additional features and content.
Rest assured there is more to come, and we will keep this thread updated as soon as there has been progress: https://steamcommunity.com/app/733820/discussions/0/4312743731820301218/
Don't hesitate to share your suggestions, but be aware that they have to wait until the most pressing issues are dealt with.
Please keep it up!
Greetings Your teams of Solar Powered Games and Assemble Entertainment
