Our Urban Survival RPG Highrisers Out Now!
Together with developer Solar Powered Games we are inviting you to the end of the society as today, our survival-crafting RPG Highrisers is officially launched here on Steam.
In Highrisers, players find themselves in an apocalyptic city-scape where the streets are filled with swarms of “Dreamers,” humans afflicted with a mysterious prion disease that has left them trapped in an eternal dream.
What remains of humanity has staked out the top floors of these towering structures as their last stand against the hordes of hungry sleepwalkers, but must take regular trips to the dangerous bottom floors to hunt for supplies and scrounge for crucial crafting materials — including spare parts for a helicopter that might just be their last chance at finally escaping the terror.
Players will hop into the boots of four survivors, each with their own unique abilities.
Whether the plucky young Jes with her affinity for tech, or the mechanic Ike and his handy ability to repair machines, each character offers a different personality, a deep skill tree, and an individual approach to survival.
They’ll need every bit of skill and grit when they descend to the treacherous lower floors to scavenge for supplies. Food, spare parts, tools, and weapon materials are all ripe for the taking — if our bold wasteland warriors can avoid the roaming gangs of dreamers who lurk below the sun line.
Of course, merely surviving the night is only the first step, and in order to truly escape this city of dreamers, players will need to repair the HC-27 helicopter to escape, transport more goods, and fly to safer shores — or rooftops.

Synopsis
In Highrisers, society has collapsed due to a mysterious affliction that causes people to become “Dreamers”, light-sensitive sombanulators.
To stay safe, the remaining survivors have taken to the relatively protected rooftops of the city’s towering skyscrapers. They’ll need to find supplies, craft gear, and repair the helicopter that promises to fly them away from the danger and into a safe, new world.
About Highrisers
In Highrisers, players take on the role of one of four survivors, eking out an existence on the upper floors of an expansive skyline. Down below, in the dimly lit lower floors, infected Dreamers begin to gather, increasing in numbers every night when the sun sets and their aggression amplifies. Each survivor brings different skills to the table, which they’ll need to successfully engage in missions to the dangerous lower floors in search of weapons, supplies, gear, and most importantly: parts to repair the helicopter.

Features of Highrisers
- Takin’ it to the Top: The city’s streets and lower floors are filled with dangerous infected Dreamers, and the only safe spots left are the top floors of towering skyscrapers. It’s also, conveniently, a great place to park a helicopter...if only it worked.
- Risk it for the Biscuit: In order to survive, players will need supplies, including weapons, gear, and of course, food. Head down to the lower floors and risk the dangers to get the best equipment and ingredients — just watch out for Dreamers and remember, every night they climb higher and higher...
- Four Characters, Four Playstyles: Players can choose from four different survivors, Jes, Ike, Ann and Mo, each with their own unique abilities and backstory. Whether the plucky young Jes with her affinity for tech, or the mechanic Ike and his handy ability to repair machines, each character offers a different personality, a deep skill tree, and an individual approach to survival!
- Procedurally Generated Vertical Chaos: Randomized level layouts encourage multiple playthroughs where each run is different than the last, sometimes you get lucky, other times you get caught by the Dreamers and it’s game over!
Developed by Solar Powered Games and published by Assemble Entertainment, Highrisers will launch on Windows PC via Steam on May 6, 2021.

The story-driven pixel art adventure, Lacuna developed by DigiTales Interactive.
Set in a beautiful 2D sci-fi noir universe, Lacuna immerses players in a gritty detective story, where players take on the role of CDI agent Neil Conrad and are tasked with making tough decisions by using their moral compass to navigate an emotionally intense experience that may or may not stimulate some critical self-reflection.

Orbital Bullet demo accompanying Highrisers during the Steam Game Festival
First up is our fast-paced 360° action platformer Orbital Bullet developed by SmokeStab.
KILL.DIE.MODIFY. – The Motto of this game, which is an action-packed platformer with rogue-lite elements based in a unique, ring-shaped sci-fi world where all of the action takes place in a circular pattern.
Players must fight through a variety of procedurally generated planets and use intense body modifications, crafting, and heavy weaponry to make it out alive.
Orbital Bullet will be available on Steam Early Access this Spring.

Squadron 51 demo accompanying Highrisers during the Steam Game Festival
Last but not least: Our recently announced Squadron 51 developed by Loomiarts – an intense dimension bending SHUMP inspired by the black and white classic sci-fi and monster movies of the 1950s.
Squadron 51 is live on Kickstarter now, so fans can show their support and get ready to stop the alien invasion.
Squadron 51 is scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam in 2021.
