Holy Potatoes! A Christmas Update?!
Hey Spudlings,
Christmas is coming, and to celebrate this festive occasion, a new update has arrived in Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?!
Now, you can decorate your spud base with 3 brand new Christmas decorations (Christmas Tree, Gingerbread Man and Santa Statue). You will need to use the codes to unlock the decoration in the game, and you will have to find them using clues given on our social media platforms (we will announce the clues very soon).
In the spirit of giving this Christmas Season, here is the first code: HPXMASOUHFGA

Holy Potatoes! The First Update?!
Hey Spudlings,
So it has been more than a day since the launch of Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?!.
We would like to thank you for your unwavering support for the game. Not only did you purchase the game and enjoy it, but you also provided us with constructive feedback and suggestions to make the game better.
We listened to your feedback, and here we are, with the first update for the game, to improve the gameplay experience further:
- Minor Bug Fix. Previously, mission expiry tutorial will not show if you have seen the tutorial in an earlier gameplay.
- Minor Bug Fix. Previously, multiple skills might be activated in the same turn in special missions.
- Slight nerf to obstacles’ stats! Spies will now have an easier time to clear missions.
- Slight increase in mission expiry time. Now you can be a couch potato (not really) and take your time.

Have you heard? The wait is almost over, as Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! (HPSPY) is coming to Steam this 7th November.
HPSPY will be published by our long-time partner, Daedalic Entertainment, and the spudtacular title will be available on Windows, Mac and Linux. The game will be priced at 14.99 USD, and it will launch with English, German, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Behind the Spud: The Post-Beta Updates
Heya Spudlings,
It has been more than a week since the end of our beta for Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! (HPSPY), and we would like to thank you all for participating in the closed beta. We were overwhelmed by the positive responses from you, the players, as well as your support for the game. Our team is currently working hard to evaluate your feedback and implement changes based on your suggestions.
But that is not the purpose of you being here right? So scroll down for our dev updates, fresh from the Daylight’s oven.
Beside the common bugs reported, one of the most requested features is the difficulty settings, because we all suck are not very good with time and money Starch management, aren’t we?
ヾ(´囗｀｡)ﾉ. We listen to your suggestion, and here we go, the difficulty settings at the start of the game, so you have a choice to be a casual or an ultimate hardcore spud.
On a more Steamy note, our art team is almost done with all the art assets, as well as Steam Achievements and Trading Cards. Here are some examples of those Trading Cards to keep your eyes peeled (⊹◕ʖ̯◕)
Oh and by the way, for our Singapore fans, we will be at STGCC next week, so if you are going to the event and would like to meet the team behind Holy Potatoes, do hit us up on our Discord channel.
