In this spectacle, a handpicked cadre of elite content creators go head-to-head, building architectural masterpieces in a fierce battle of creativity and precision.
Their goal? To earn glory, bragging rights, and above all, the approval of the ultimate arbiter of taste and chaos himself - the man of many meme names, the one and only - Jerma985. ːbessie_loveː
And now, the time has come once again… The third House Flipper Invitational is about to begin! Prepare for glorious Sandbox Mode projects as bold contenders enter the arena, ready to carve their names into flipping history. Who will rise? Who will fall? We had some serious fun! That contest was something else though, I have to admit that we felt like this theme would be very problematic to design around. You guys outdid yourselves with surprising ideas and wonderfully crafted houses! The judging process was a bit prolonged, as we had to not only consider the visuals but actually play through the projects to understand what we're looking at. It's insane to see this kind of creativity level
Congrats to not only the winners, but to everyone who attempted to work with such an unusual theme:
We present the winning projects in no particular order this time:
- Resistance is Futile by Tari43 We loved to see the usage of our new keys mechanic. It was a lot of fun to unravel the secrets of the mysterious cube! It was a bit tricky, interesting, and visually pleasing. Great job!
- Land of the Lotus Eaters by WPWW Dreamy! The visuals of this project capture the feeling of a dream so well! The usage of various mechanics required to progress is impressive! Make sure to look at your quests when attempting this one!
- House of the Radiator by Super_Kupo So funny! Feels like a pun on a pun. Whoever goes through this project joins the radiator cult automatically! So gooood!
- Cartoon - Coloring Book by Sph1nxy Oh my! So lovely, so unique, we've never seen something like it. The house is not big, but you can spend a long time admiring all the little black and white details. Incredible!
- A crocodiles tale by RoooseGarden Mr and Mrs Croc invited us to their wedding, and it was a blast! Surprising visuals, funny challenges, lots of hard work! We loved it!

🎂 This weekend was tons of fun!
A huge free weekend event, our first DLC launch, and an update to spice it up! But most importantly, we had the pleasure of greeting so many players in House Flipper 2 these last couple of days - Thank you! In fact, we managed to reach a new all-time peak regarding concurrent player count - 21,945!!
We love the fact that so many of you found time to enjoy flipping together during our House Flipper Franchise Birthday weekend! We hope the veteran flippers used this chance to show their friends around, and that all the rookie flippers will find their place here!

Designing, implementing, and polishing the CO-OP Mode in House Flipper 2 proved to be quite a tough journey! The release of the House Flipper 2 Co-op DLC is the final step! It is officially the first DLC added to House Flipper 2, and it provides the Co-op mode fans with some extra content designed specifically for multiplayer fun. If you prefer to flip alone, all the new content can also be completed solo!

🤡 It's April Fools' Day! (Mini-Update!)
🥳 April fool!
Howdy Flippers!
Today, we bring you a little something to make your April Fools' Day more fun! This is our first official "Mini-Update" - that's our new term to describe some of the smaller content additions to House Flipper 2.
📋 Let's take a quick look at the changelog:
New: • 6 April fools-related items so you can prank someone! • A new mug with custom picture functionality!
Changes: • We lost a batch of our sound files, but we MacGyvered smth up overnight, and we're working on a more permanent solution. Be patient. (47 new sounds, but you can actually switch back to the original ones in the main menu! Only available on April 1st)
Fixes: • Pinnacove suburbs achievement is now correctly recognized. • Fixed unremovable sills in the recently added house, "The Alligator Bar" in Old Pinnacove. The fix applies only to newly bought houses.
Co-op changes: • You can now disconnect from a co-op game using the Back button during loading (after confirming in a pop-up). Yes, now this is a feature, not a bug! • Additional gameplay elements now synchronize properly: wall finish material held in hand, as well as paint roller mode and color. • Third-person animations have been added for switching the cleaning tools and spray usage. • Added additional notifications for "Lobby Full" and "Local Connection Not Possible". • Crossplay status can now be toggled from the client join view.
Co-op fixes: • Fixed time of day synchronization. • If the host is in the main menu, clients will also be placed in the main menu upon joining. • If a player joins while others are still connecting or cleaning windows, they will no longer find them in an awkward position or animation. • Cleaning the same stain is no longer slower when multiple players clean it together. Teamwork makes the dream work, not the job harder!
❗ Additionally, we saved you from potential malicious features: • Removed your favourite "before and after" gallery because at least 3 players didn't like it. • Removed the co-op mode so you can finally enjoy playing alone in peace. • All your mod.io houses got deleted because we forgot to pay our monthly mod.io premium subscription... what an awesome chance to upload new player creations! • All textures are now one color (gray) to boost performance. • Removed paint roller – now you must dip your hands in paint and slap the walls manually. • Fixed a bug where only cold water was flowing from the taps. • Removed all houses larger than 25m² or containing more than 20 items or 5 light sources – these could lead to uncontrollable crashes. • Added an "ive-got-a-crash-on-you" command so you can now controllably crash your game as much as you like! (use at your own risk)
This marks our second step of the Q1 / Q2 2025 House Flipper 2 Roadmap. What comes next is one of the biggest events of the year for the House Flipper Franchise, so make sure to stay tuned!

Along with the recent Garden Update, we introduced a new community contest, with a new ruleset and a new pool of prizes!
As we're getting closer and closer to April Fools' Day, your quest this time is to create a home filled with tricks, surprises, and confusing design choices - a place that would drive anyone living there absolutely nuts!
✅ To join in, simply follow these 3 steps:
1. Build a house fitting the theme of the contest - "The House of Pranks" 2. Upload the finished property to the Mod.io website with at least 5 screenshots best showcasing the project, as well as check the “House of Pranks” tag in the upload process. 3. Make sure to submit your entry by April 13, 2025, 23:59 CEST!

Remember that you're not allowed to use any 3rd party software or in-game "cheats" that directly help you with your contest project (for example, giving you access to hidden items)!
(We allowed for that previously, but the console players have much harder access to those and of course, using shady console commands always carries the risk of your game getting broken!)

A new house: "The Alligator Bar" in Old Pinnacove, unlocked after finishing the new job.
Gallery with saved Before & After photos! Now you can admire (or regret) your renovation decisions anytime.
Lawn mowing! Available in the tool menu after completing the new job, or by buying the lawn mower in the store.
A Sandbox mode tool to set up lawn mowing quests. Set it down and players will have to mow the lawn until it's Tidy or lower.
Over 200 new items! (See below for details)
A new Sandbox mode tool called Visual Effects - for adding effects like falling leaves :)
New trash types! Including eggshells and more leftover pizza
Items can be locked and won't be unlocked until you find the key! Set this up in Sandbox/Edit Level mode with the Edit Wiring tool. Connect the Key (from the store) to an item like a door. Players in Flipper mode will have to find the key to open the door! Perfect for puzzles and other mysteries ;)
New main menu for spring :)
Sort items in the store by size
Changes:
Disabling automatic Sandbox saves also disables autosaves when returning to the main menu. Be careful! Save manually if necessary!
The Quests view in the tablet shows how many rooms still have tasks left
Houses and jobs now feature subtle visual effects like falling leaves, for added atmosphere :)
Windows can be cleaned from either side.
Window cleaning requires you to only clean the visibly dirty parts
New loading screen tips
Flipper Tool/Duplicate now has an option to "Open in store" for items. Flipper Tool/Copy style still has "Open in store" for surface finishes like paint and wallpaper.
"Just like dominoes" perk for surface finishes now shows lines in the direction you're tiling
Some developer codes have been disabled. That's for your safety – sorry!

Most achievements work in co-op mode (only one last one left to implement).
Fixes:
Fixed placement issues with moldings. They should behave now.
[Assembly] The cursor properly hides when using a hammer.
