With the upcoming Steam Free Weekend, we will be re-opening the South America server once again. As a bonus, we are also adding additional multi-language support including Brazilian Portuguese in preparation for our Official Launch. It's not quite ready yet, but you can already begin previewing it already.
For New Users:
You can select the language right when you launch the client for the first time.
For Existing Users:
You can change your language by selecting Options, going to the "GUI" tab, and scrolling down to Language.

Ranked Mode Season 0
Hey Hypers,
Launching this week along with patch 3.8 is RANKED MODE SEASON 0. Ranked mode will be the next level of competitive play that you can engage in to test your skills against the best that the game has to offer. We also have a section for feedback on the new mode. You can earn prizes just for providing us with feedback! Are you ready for Ranked?

During our last stretch of testing in Early Access, we are releasing Ranked mode for a limited time to gather feedback. There are some temporary changes made to the Modes in order to shorten matchmaking times. Once the event is over the stats will reset with Season 0 before the official launch of Ranked Season 1.

Ranked Match Eligibility
Eligibility for Ranked Match has been lowered considerably for this test.
Ranked mode is a competitive mode that will pit you against other members of the Hyper community based on the TrueSkill system. Winning matches will raise your rank while losing matches will lower it. The more matches that you win the higher your rank will go. As you move up in rank the players that you will face off against will be better. You’ll need to play 10 matches to get your initial placement before you hop into the official ranked matches.

GETTING STARTED:
To get started you’ll want to go to mode and select “Ranked Match”.
Once your game queue pops up you’ll be presented with a new layout for picks and bans. Your team will be given 2 Hypers to ban, same as the enemy team.
Once you have selected your Hypers to ban they will be displayed at the top.
After this you move onto choosing which Hypers you wish to play. You pick in a 1, 2, 2, 2, 1 order. This means that Team 1 gets the first pick, Team 2 gets the next two picks, then back to Team 1 for two picks etc. When it is your turn to pick you’ll see a special frame around your character portrait with the words “Selecting” highlighted.
You can see who is coming up next as the frame will say “Next turn” indicating this.
Once all of the players have gone through the pick phase then the match will start. You’ll be able to see all of the Hypers as you are going through the pick phase so you know who and how the other team is building, allowing you to make your own team decisions on who to pick or counterpick.
Once all of the Hypers have been selected for both teams you will have a moment to try and switch Hypers between players on your own team. A box above the Hyper will pop up saying “Hyper Swap”. If you click on this you will send a request to that player that will ask them if they would like to switch their Hyper with yours. If they confirm it then the two Hypers will be swapped.
If they accept you will see a “Hyper Swap Completed” dialogue box.
If they decline the swap you will see a “Your trade has been rejected” dialogue box.
Once everyone has made their choices and swaps the last game timer will countdown before the match begins.
The match itself hasn’t changed for how you play. Out play your opponents and push their towers back to their base to win. Destroy the final tower and the game is yours.
Once you have won or lost the match you will get your end of game stats which now include a TrueSkill ranking which you will see on your post game lobby page under EXP and Gold obtained.
Based on your rankings, you will then be matched against other Hypers of similar skill moving forward. You can progress through the ranks from Rookie to Grandmaster. How do you think you will fare in the arena, Hyper?

Hongdukei rolls into battle!
Hey Hypers,
Get ready to run amok on the competition soon with Hongdukei! He is a big, bad mythical creature that will brute force his way to victory. If you get in his way he will hunt you down and trap you into his gourd, and you don’t want to be in the gourd...
Skill Overview:
Mighty Strike (A)
Swings at the enemy with his mighty club doing damage. Has a 50% chance to do increased damage.
Lay Low (Q)
Grab an enemy in front of you and tosses them to the ground, downing them for 1 second and doing damage.
Dokkaebi Step (W)
Teleports 900 units ahead and does damage to all enemies within 300 units of the location. Enemies affected by the teleport step have their movement speed reduced by 30% for 3 seconds. Hongdukei takes 40% reduced damage for 2.5 seconds after landing.
Belly Bash (E)
Slams enemies in front of you doing damage and knocking them back 700 units.
Strange Gourd (R)
Grabs the closest enemy within 700 units and puts them into the gourd, doing fixed damage over time. While the enemy is in the gourd they are sealed and cannot use any action. While Hongdukei has an enemy in the gourd he has a 50% reduced movement speed and cannot use accessories. Pressing the button again before the end of the duration will toss the enemy out, doing damage and downing them for 1 second. If the duration ends before letting the enemy out, the seal breaks and Hongdukei will be downed for .8 seconds.
Using Hongdukei’s Skills Effectively:
Hongdukei excels at both crowd control and chasing down lone enemies. Because of his ability to use Strange Gourd on a single enemy, you can close the gap between you and them with Dokkaebi Step and use Lay Low immediately after to down them. Once they are down, you can use Strange Gourd in an inescapable combo to get them under your control. At this point walk them to the closest tower or group of your teammates and you can dump them out and damage them. This combo effectively singles out a member of the enemy team with few actions they can take to stop it. Also, do not forget that just trapping an enemy such as a Tank in Strange Gourd can remove the enemy’s front line entirely for the duration of the fight.
The most important part of this build is his ability to stay alive. Hongdukei is an excellent crowd controller, but you can’t crowd control if you’re dead. You’ll want to make sure that you are building enough defense and health to be able to jump into the middle of a fight and get out alive. With skills like Dokkaebi Step you’ll be able to get INTO a fight… and only your defensive items will get you out. Be sure and build a good amount of health regen as Hongdukei does not have any way to regenerate his own health. Stay alive long enough to seal enemy Hypers in your Gourd, crowd control them down and win fights for your team. You ARE the front line.
