v5.2 - Dungeon Modifiers Pt. 1
-Added Path of Solitude, a dungeon modifier that allows your units to gain tiers from idling, removing the need to recruit new units for higher tiers (available from level select on the "select starting floor" banner)

v5.1 - New Year, New Content
Happy New Year! Excited to announce the first HLH update of 2024, available now.

This update features sidequests, optional tasks you can take on to earn useful rewards. The available sidequests change daily.



As updates rolled in the home menus quickly became unruly to navigate, so quick navigation has been added to make getting around much easier.

v5.0 Public Beta
The HLH Tower update is now in public beta. Upgrade your tower to power up your heroes, gain XP, and earn items. The more challenges you complete and the higher scores you earn the more you'll be able to build.

Big Updates for December & January
As the holidays approach I just wanted to give a very quick update on some big new additions coming to HyperLeague Heroes in December and January.

Dark Lord Boss Fight

This has been promised for a while but it's finally coming. Here's a little proof, the pixel art is currently being worked on.



You'll be able to challenge the Dark Lord at any level and whenever you want, but you'll have to be a master at the game to take him down.

HyperLeague Tower

Another new addition will be HyperLeague Tower where you'll be able to upgrade and customize your base even further and in new ways. More details coming later.

Noelle Has Arrived!
Noelle has arrived in HLH for Christmas! She's a healer/support character who'll make sure your team stays fit to fight. She's available from the recruitment menu with all power levels unlocked.

New Hero - Noelle
A new hero is coming in time for Christmas. Noelle is a member of the North Pole Defense Force but joins the HyperLeague Heroes to fend off the Dark Lord, who will be arriving in an update (sorry for the delay, but he's coming, will post his pixel art soon).

What should Noelle's perks/abilities be?

v4.9 - Character Lore
New in HLH v4.9 is Proxy's Intel, a screen accessible from the main menu where you can find some world-building information about the game's various units.

Development Resuming
Last month I announced that development for HLH was on hold due to personal matters.

I'm happy to let everyone know that development will be resuming within the next couple of days, the next update should be releasing next week, possibly sooner.

Dev Update Sept. 11, 2023
Hope everyone is having a great September.

Since it's been a couple of weeks without any news or announcements I just wanted to share a quick status update on HyperLeague Heroes.

A couple of weeks ago a personal matter came up that temporarily paused development on HLH. Development should be resuming within the next few weeks. Any major bugs that come up will be fixed as soon as possible but new features will be delayed by some weeks.

Here are the new features that were being worked on but are currently paused:

  • Bios for all units to expand the HLH lore
  • The Dark Lord boss fight

Again, development should be resuming within the next few weeks.
