This is a quick patch to fix extra days being used during hyperspace travel.
There are some art alterations/additions that are included since they were in progress. There are new backgrounds for certain bridge views. I do not have the art for all views yet, but that should be done soon.
There will still be a bigger balancing patch coming along with some other additions/edits by the end of the week or early next week.

This is a quick patch to fix a few problems that were impacting the game. Note that there is a bigger balancing patch coming at some point late next week along with some other additions/alterations!
-Fix achievements that require storing progress completely broken. This will also fix achievements like the stasis.
-Fix broken Void Space mission.
-Add space pirate ships now drop cargo that can be collected.
-Fix for previous update that was supposed to limit jobs and didn't actually limit them.
Early Access Report
Greetings all!
Last week was extremely busy at my "day job" and so I barely worked on the game. This week is also proving to be more busy than usual. My goal is to have a new patch ready with new balancing and bug fixes by sometime next week.
At that point I'll take another look at how things feel and decide on if a launch in March is likely. I think at this point it is more looking like April for a possible official launch.

Full Screen Patch Uploaded (ver .772)
An emergency patch has been uploaded to fix a full screen bug.

New Version Uploaded: Early Access .77
This is a bit rushed release to fix some game breaking bugs that popped up.
-fix bug causing low probability game is beatable in given time (increased available time by 100 days)
-fix blockade negotiated discount not being applied
-lower amount of items passengers can steal or win from crew in card games
-fix out of time text error message for some instances
-add medkits have small chance to heal sickness
-passengers much less likely to be infected by crew illness. (Still plan to integrate some more modifications to infections spreading to be more fair).
In addition since I was already working on some balance changes these will be included. The biggest one being a drastic reduction in the use of FPS/Space jobs at planets. This should help focus the game on keeping moving and analyzing the numbers and mechanics vs trying to play a lot of mini games.

New Version Uploaded: Early Access .75
This update focuses on a few minor balancing changes as well as adding achievements.
-Passengers apprehended will now have a chance at getting reward when turned in.
-Lowered crew damage during hyperspace travel
-Alt-Tabbing should now work and relinquish the mouse
-Allow more comms if you wait a certain amount of days up to 2 FPS or Space missions per planet visit. Waiting is a last resort as typically you'd best be served moving on instead of wasting days.
-Adjustments to home screen menu
-Added Achievements
-Note that I am still trying to fix the steam overlay bug.
The next update will address any bugs related to these changes and also I'll be doing more general game balancing based on some feedback and my own play through that I didn't get to in this update.

Early Access Report
Happy New Year Everyone!
Thought I'd give a little heads up on what I'm working on now that the holiday is over. Mainly it is some stat balancing based on feedback as well as some bug fixes. No new events or content additions.
One other big thing is the integration with the Steam API to set the stage for Achievements as well as fix the newly reported Steam Overlay Bug. In addition I'll be working on polishing the home menu screen by giving it some background sound and a little animation with the logo at the suggestion of Olowokandi.
My current goal is to move toward an early March 1.0 release. But that could change based on further feedback and final testing.

New Version Uploaded: Early Access .7
Hello everyone,
Here is another update for you which changes some things players may have gotten used to as well as a few new features! Some changes include how crew health is handled and sickness. Sickness wasn’t much of an issue before and so now it because something that the player must proactively deal with.
In my tests some of my changes seemed a little too difficult and so I’ve dialed them down. Please leave your feedback on this update so that I can appropriately balance the changes based on a larger player base.
Another change is balancing so that players can more easily play the game and avoid the FPS/Space mini games if they want. This helps create more choice of play style.
Please also note that the branding cover image and icon of the game has now changed to a graphic that more appropriately represents the game play.
-FPS health kit heals less
-FPS health kit shows actual amount healed
-Allow high scores for failed run. Includes note and marking of failed run.
-Fix bug with Artifact collector not giving upgrade for 2 artifacts
-Kidnapped crew receives less damage
-New feature. Intel can be purchased from alien communications. This will reveal store prices at future planets. The intel can be then viewed from the nav planet info screen.
-New Event. Space debris collecting. You are hired to collect floating debris in space. There is a time limit on claims and so you need to do it quickly to get your reward.
-New Event. Planet 21 cloud diving.
-New Event. Rescue disabled ship caught in planets gravity.
-Greater variance for artifact prices so the new Intel method can be more taken advantage of.
-Re-balancing of some rewards for various events
-Sickness can NO longer be healed by medkits. You must see a planetary doctor.
-Fix trading not showing from space bars. Will not show every time.
-Increased amount of passenger that can be picked up.
-Crew members will now DIE if they die in FPS mode instead of retreating to the ship.
-Allow options menu from main game menu
-Less random damage to crew in hyperspace.
-Show stat changes at warp in small increments
-Lower general FPS pickup amounts

Early Access Status Report
Hi Everyone,
Thank you all so much for your responses and suggestions. It has really helped shape the game we have now!
The last update was rather large but this next update is shaping up to be even larger in the sense of how it alters certain aspects of the game. The idea of this coming update is to make the game have higher stakes. One of the things that is memorable about games like Oregon Trail or the original Wasteland is that it is easy and painful to lose a party member. In Hyperspace Delivery Service, it has become a bit too easy to never lose a crew member. So, I am re-balancing a bit on how the crew health is managed. It won't be unfair but it will take some consideration to keep everyone alive and well!
Another aspect of the game getting a little re-balancing is the economy. Currently you end up doing a lot of mini game jobs to bring in income. And the issue there is that the mini games become too much at the forefront of game-play. So I am re-balancing a bit so that there is more opportunity and ability to shape your income based on strategy instead of mini games. For instance there will be a new feature allowing you to purchase intel which shows you the prices of supplies at different planets. This allows you to plan ahead and take advantage of price differences.
All of these changes will really make it so you have choices on your play style.
I hope to have this update ready before the weekend. No promises though.
