We're so excited with how much you've all been loving Hypnospace Plus! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us on discord, twitter, in the forums and our emails. We've loved every minute of watching you rediscover Hypnospace! To celebrate, we're releasing our newest patch and Vol. 3 of the OST!
For the last little while the team have been hard at work clearing up pesky bugs and adding in EVEN MORE neat content for you to find!
Here's what's new in HypnOS v2.34:
- More than a dozen unheard music tracks (these are ALL amazing)
- Performance improvements
- A bunch of minor fixes on pages (thank you for all your reports on these!)
- Boot-up now shows "HypnOS+"
- Tunebox now uses case insensitive sorting
- Credits updated
- Game engine updated to NWJS 0.49.0
BUGS FIXED:
- Weird graphics bugs with videos (again, thank you so much for all your reports and help getting this one fixed up!)
- Long splash-screen loading times on low-spec machines no longer soft-lock the game
- Hammering content during a page transition no longer disables all user input
- No longer possible for your Hypnocoin wallet to go into the negative
- Pets can no longer poop offscreen (but they do still poop, sorry about that)
- Unintentional Axx. sequence break disabled
- Status bar/text above Hypnospace user pages no longer goes offscreen
- Soft lock in Outlaw when pausing at specific times fixed
- Issues with Tunebox music file importing fixed
The soundtrack also now includes Vol. 3 of the soundtrack! This means there are now 146 TRACKS in there, which is an INSANE amount!

This has been a MASSIVE undertaking, but there are now a ton of new pages to find. Many of them are hidden away and unlisted, so you'll need to hunt them down, but we think it's well worth it!
We've also updated a bunch of places we thought were lacking, so make sure you keep a beady eye open for some new content, like over at Counsellor Ronnie's!

We couldn't resist bringing back your favourites, so there are 2 hours of previously unreleased music headed your way! If you find you really enjoy it, you'll be able to get your hands on it soon as part of Hypnospace Vol. 3 and through each artist's own stores!

There weren't enough ways to make your personal Hypnospace look the best it could possibly be.
Now there are almost enough ways.
> New Apps & Games to discover
We honestly couldn't resist the cries for a certain character to be added in and interactable with, and then they carried on. There are a bunch more ways to get involved with Hypnospace now, and we can't wait for you to discover them all!
> Much improved Linux support
We've been working closely with the community on making the Linux build much more stable, and we're happy to announce we're making those changes public! If you've been getting errors and launch failures, this version should hopefully fix those! Let us know if you run into any more problems!

The STEAM AWARDS are here!
Well...
It's Steam Awards season, and you can nominate Hypnospace Outlaw! We're glad so many folks have enjoyed the game and its stories, and we'd love to be put up for another award!
It's been an incredible year for Hypnospace Outlaw. We went from having a game we weren't entirely sure how to describe to people, to an IGF nominated, roundly loved and widely covered game that so many people fell in love with. So many have followed Zane, Corey, Dylan and the others and we're always surprised at the theories and new stories players have come up with! We've seen fan art, read theories and watched OCs develop and grow in the universe, and we've been blown away at every step. Thank you!
The future of Hypnospace is definitely bright, with some secrets well on the way and modding now available through Mod.io, so now everyone can tell their own stories and share them with the world. We're excited to see what you make, and where Hypnospace goes from here!

Hypnospace Outlaw Modding Update
Hey everyone,
it's finally here!
The Modding Update for Hypnospace Outlaw is now available to download as a free update, and allows you to create pretty much anything in Hypnospace Outlaw, for other people to download and explore. Accessing mods is as simple as booting the game up, and choosing the Mods option.
But what exactly can you create for Hypnospace? How about:

- Images and gifs
- Wallpapers and screensavers
- Music and samples themes
- OS Graphical Themes
- Soundscapes
- Your own zones
- Your own cases and stories
- Emails
- Advertisements
- Fonts
- Citizens and Characters

No More Robots + Tendershoot
The Modding Update is coming November 19th!
We've been talking about it for a while, and it's finally time to open the floodgates - the Hypnospace Outlaw Modding Update will be launching on November 19th, along with some super cool mods to get you into the mood (anyone fancy some more Seepage?)
Using an in-game menu built especially for Mod.io, you'll be able to download mods you're interested in and give them a whirl. We know we talked about using Steam Workshop previously, but we're excited by the possibilities that Mod.io gives us and we promise it's really easy to use!
We've made sure that come the 19th there'll be some cool things for you to try as well as some guides to get you started, even if you've not modded a game before. If you find you're looking for more help or to collaborate with others, we've also got a channel in the Discord for advice, asking questions and inspirations!
From themes to hacks, music to whole new storylines, this will be a chance to make Hypnospace YOURS, and tell YOUR story, however you'd like!
We can't WAIT to see what you create - see you on the 19th ;)

- Fix for desktop stickers when moving Hypnospace's install location

Trading Cards now live & 5 things you might have missed in Hypnospace!
Hypnospace has been out for a month now, and we're totally blown away but the wonderful support you've been showing the game. We've received so many kind messages and pieces of fan art, it's been a really amazing experience to see you all jumping into the world of Hypnospace!
To celebrate, we've set up some trading cards, backgrounds, emoticons and badges, and thought we'd share some of our favourite, slightly more hidden pages that you might have missed!
1. Worms?
In Chapter 1 there's a pretty out-there blog, though it looks like some enforcer has already taken a disliking to it. With the calibre of pictures left behind, we kinda wonder - what on earth did the other pictures look like? =/
2. Fan Art contest
All across Hypnospace, there are stories of people connecting for the first time and expressing themselves for the first time. One of those that touched our heart was 'RebeRuthPin' who adores Squisherz so much she joins a fan art contest - her story is definitely worth reading and following across chapters.
3. Smoulder Boulder interactive fiction
Looking for a well-written pick your own adventure game with stunning accompanying graphics? Well DarkTwilightTiff has you covered with the chilling based-on-true-events tale of the Smoulder Boulder
4. Bees?
Two bee fanatics have set up their pages and are now... at war?

Yeah, we're not sure either.
5. Discord
Our lovely Discord community played a metagame on the run-up to the game's release, and some of them earned having their pages and songs added to the game! Searching Discord will bring these up - they range from Silly to Spooky, and we love every single one!
