Commanders! These giant beasts are the leaders of your team of monsters, and provide global bonuses to nearly every aspect of the game. They become available after wave 3500.
Changes:
Slightly increased desert kill exp map perk.

Update v59 (Dec 1)
Changes:
Reworked premium tower card packs to actually be worthwhile by significantly increasing their contents.
Slightly reduced cost scaling of Temp Prestige Boosts.

Update v58 (Nov 28)
New Content:
Added 10 more stars to obtain for most achievements.
Added "Tank Cooldown" into the Prestige Temp Boosts pool.
Changes:
Increased the max level of most Prestige Temp Boosts, but made their cost scale up more quickly.
Pets below tier 6 can now be upgraded past level 10 until they reach 100% master stats.
QoL Improvements:
Clicking the boss rush button will always open the boss rush menu (rather than just deactivate boss rush if it was previously active).
Made boss energy drops more bold and visible.

Patch v55 (Nov 10)
Changes:
Peasant mobs are no longer considered bosses for monster targeting and skill usage.
The "Execute" skill no longer works on bosses.
QoL Improvements:
Color coded the "Current Run Stats" menu for improved readability.
The boss rush HUD button now informs you which type of rush is active.
Renamed the Cyclops Giant and Cyclops Mage pets.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed issue where changing the name of loadouts wouldn't always save correctly.
Minor Patch v53 (Nov 7)
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where Cyclops Mage's (tier 6 debuff pet) Mass Reset perk was not refreshing spell cooldowns correctly.
Miscellaneous:
Upgraded the Unity development environment and several plugins and packages to their newest versions (this was a massive upgrade), which should help keep the game up to date with the latest development features, performance, and security standards.
Update v52 (Oct 24)
New Content:
Various new end-game upgrades to continually increase the enemy gold drop per wave passed in a run. This means that enemies will drop more gold on higher waves than on earlier waves. The "My Stats" menu will help break down the bonus gold you are receiving from these upgrades.
Tier 6 pets (evolution level 30 required to use).
Changes:
Significantly increased the gold drop bonus earned from evolving towers after evolution 20, making these hard-earned evolutions even more rewarding!
Significantly increased the gold drop rewards from video ads (active play bonus), daily play claims, and gem resource packs.
Created additional tournament brackets and adjusted the rewards and placements of the current brackets to better fit their player populations.
QoL Improvements:
Added "Safe" or "Gamble" spawn options for the Tank Swordsman.

Boss gold and exp texts appear in front of other texts and remain visible longer.

Update v49 (September 30)
Changes:
The 2x Gold Drop and 10x Gold Drop procs now stack additively. If you proc both on an enemy, he will drop 12x gold (10x + 2x). Previously, the 10x gold drop overwrote the 2x gold drop, so landing both would still only give 10x gold drop.
Gold Lust/Aura, Exp Boost/Aura, and Energy Source/Aura skills all stack additively now. Previously, the higher skill would overwrite the lower one, but now you can stack them for significantly larger gains. Check out some examples of this logic in the in-game FAQ.
Tank Swordsman energy reward now increases for every 10 total tank kills.
Changed the rotation order of video ad (active play bonus) rewards.
Removed the 9999 level cap on some tournament upgrades.
QoL Improvements:
Improved the selected tower upgrade menu to be more clear and informative.
The video ad (active play bonus) button now displays a cooldown timer with a preview of the upcoming reward.

Update v47 - Challenge and Secret Leaderboard Titles! (Aug. 6)
New Content:
TONS of new Progress, Challenge, and Secret Leaderboard Titles to unlock! They also now provide incredibly powerful stat boosts! These are meant to be like end-game achievements to hunt down and grind towards.
Changes:
Reduced some 9 and 10 star achievement requirements to be more feasible.
QoL Improvements:
Moved the Leaderboard Icons and Titles menus into the easier-to-access Missions tab.
