Additional Announcements

Gameplay in Immersive Poetry

Immersive Poetry Gameplay

Hey All! It was recently brought to my attention that perhaps I did not describe what exactly the gameplay in Immersive Poetry consists of, so I have decided to address that here and now. There will be a gameplay trailer releasing soon on Steam and indiedb.com where you can see for yourself how the game plays and decide if it is for you. I apologize for the tardiness of this type of trailer.

Your Goals in Immersive Poetry

In Immersive Poetry, you will play in first-person, solving puzzles and completing various types of objectives. Each level in Immersive Poetry will give you different mechanics than the last and will have a different type of goal to be reached. You will traverse mazes, try to keep warm in the freezing snow, and prepare to sail back inland in Immersive Poetry. There is always more than one objective in each map, and you are not always told what to do explicitly, which means you need to use clues or simply search for the objective. However, you need to be careful because some levels won't let you stay for long!

Your Controls in Immersive Poetry

You will follow the standard gaming keyboard layout (WASD to move, Left Shift to run, etc). You do not have all of the controls available in all levels. Some have more and some have less.

Thalasse Games Website And Updates!

Website is Live!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to announce that the website for Thalasse Games is live and can be found here. You can find free wallpapers for Immersive Poetry and get an idea as to what we're all about. There will periodically be new wallpaper packs added for free, and I plan to move my blog there soon as well. So why not have a visit and get some free stuff? ;)

Update for Immersive Poetry

As you all know, I have been hard at work on Immersive Poetry to make it as great as it can be for you, and I wanted to announce that there are additional levels in the works as I type! All new content developed before and after release (I say this because the base content is complete and undergoing testing and such now) will be completely free of charge, and new content will continue even as I begin work on my next project, which will be announced in early 2018! If you'd like to keep up with development and more, please check our site periodically, and I promise to have a new blog for everyone to see so they know exactly what to expect. If you have any questions or comments for me, shoot me an email at immersivepoetry@gmail.com.

Immersive Poetry on Steam

Immersive Poetry is officially on Steam with an October release date! I am Singroff, the developer of Immersive Poetry. I want to share with you some of the features that my upcoming release has to offer:

Complex Objectives
In Immersive Poetry, each level has more than one objective, and sometimes the road to completing those objectives isn't that easy. You can only complete them by reading the journal you're provided with and searching for clues. Oh, and don't forget your handy progress tracker! You will need it to see if you missed any hidden secrets in each level.

A Unique Theme
Immersive Poetry is all about... Well... Poetry! While each level is designed based on a real-world location from the trees to the landscape, it is also based on a famous poem! From "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost to "A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky" by Lewis Carroll, you will get to hear and experience each poem as you solve your way through the game.

A Different kind of Gameplay
Immersive Poetry is for people who want to come home and truly enjoy a game. There is no pressure in Immersive Poetry, so hardcore mechanics, and no loud noises. You play in a first-person perspective with a gorgeous piano overlay. You don't have to run from anything, and nothing will try to attack you. You are alone with your thoughts and the music.

An Interesting Story
While Immersive Poetry does revolve around poetry, there is also the over-arching story of the Wilkins Family. Follow them through the past and the present as their story progresses, and you will too.

And Much More!

This isn't everything there is in Immersive Poetry, but these are the basics. If you're unsure if it's for you, I plan to release a demo in early September free for everyone on Steam to try. I am excited to share my creation with you, and I thank you for your interest!
