Indie Game Battle: 3 New Characters!
Hello eveybody!
For those who don't know, we recently revealed 3 new characters on Twitter!
I'll link their announcements and the game they originate from so you can check them out if you want.
IGB v1.96 is out! Fixes a lot and improves a lot of stuff as well. Aria also got some big changes. Here's the changelog:
**Additions**
-Added lots of announcer voice clips for various characters, such as Captain Viridian and Red Drop.
**Changes & Improvements**
-Improved lighting and fog on many stages.
-Improved some collisions on Skyward Core
-Aria's forward smash is now a completely different attack.
-Updated Aria's side special animation and neutral special animation.
-Aria's neutral b and down b will now slow down her momentum.
-Remodeled Aria's side b projectile. Now it looks more like a plant seed, as well as being more detailed.
-Some slight rearrangements on the character select.
**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where The Kid would be able to use up b infinitely if he was hit by the apple.
-Fixed bug where multi-hit moves would do very high damage and knockback on NPC enemies and destroyable objects.
-Fixed bug where NPC enemies could sometimes ignore all attacks from specific players, and were therefore impossible to beat.
-Fixed bug where the launch effect on NPC enemies would not rotate.
-Fixed bug where the AI would sometimes hover/glide when in launch, while still keeping the launch animation.
**Balancing**
*Buffs*
-Aria can now use her neutral b in the air.
*Nerfs*
-Aria's side b projectile now comes out a bit later. Also means the move itself lasts a bit longer. The projectile hitbox is also a bit smaller.

Indie Game Battle v1.95 released!
Hey everyone!
IGB v1.95 is out! Does a lot of improvements, as well as a lot of fixing. Here's the changelog:
**Changes & Improvements**
-Skyward Core has gotten several new platforms to allow characters to move around easier, as well as fight in new places.
-Skyward Core's bridges now have more health.
-Hitlag is now supported on NPC enemies.
-Hitlag is now supported on destroyable objects.
-Hitlag is now fully supported on spawned effects, and not just the direct hitboxes on the characters.
-Destroyable objects now have proper hit effects, and not always the default one. The hit effect will now fit with the attack that hit the object.
-Lots of hitlag improvements.
**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where certain special moves would have very long hitlag at times, as well as inconsistent hitlag.
-Fixed bug where The Kid's neutral air sourspot could hit multiple times and do tons of damage.
-Fixed bug where the AI would sometimes do inputs and actions during hitlag, resulting in strange effects.
-Fixed bug where destroyable objects couldn't be hit by sourspots and certain hitboxes.
-Fixed bug where McPixel would appear as a white box instead of his icon on the main menu when starting the game.
**Balancing**
*Buffs*
-Zee Tee's forward air and back air now have a bit more knockback growth.
-Artist's neutral air, back air, and up air now have more knockback growth.

Indie Game Battle v1.94 released!
Hey everyone!
IGB v1.94 is out! My computer has been out for repairs and whatnot so things really slowed down, and a lot had to be redone as well. But v1.94 is finally out with some neat stuff, so here's the changelog:
**Additions**
-Added hitlag! Lots of moves (especially strong ones) may now briefly freeze the attacker and the receiver. This gives moves a whole new level of hit feedback, as well as making moves feel much stronger than ever before.
**Changes & Improvements**
-Landing effect when in tumble/launch has been updated. It had to be recreated from scratch regardless, but the new version also looks better.
-Frozen players now take much less knockback.
-Improved Jarvis' back air animation a little bit. He now tilts more inwards, so the hitbox has a less chance of missing (before, the tip of his sword could miss the opponent by being too far in front on the z-axis)
-Final Rift now has a bit less particles in the background.
-Jarvis now has a tipper hitbox on ftilt, uptilt, dtilt, fsmash, and upsmash. Also means he has weaker hitboxes further in on the sword handle, but they are not as strong.
-Some hit effects are now smaller, to give better visibility on the characters.
**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where frozen players would sometimes receive huge knockback, causing them to often lose a stock.
**Balancing**
*Buffs*
-With Jarvis's new tipper hitboxes, he can do more damage and KO earlier if the player is able to hit right.
-Missileman now has higher base knockback on his jab (the hitbox on his arm/hand)
-Electroman's up air now has higher base knockback and knockback growth.
*Nerfs*
-Jarvis will now do less damage and KO later if the player can't land tipper hitboxes, as he relies more on them now.
-Aria's up special now has a bit less base knockback.
-Matt's up air now has a bit less knockback growth.
-Matt's ftilt, uptilt, and dtilt now have a bit higher endlag.
-Gip's up air now has a bit less knockback growth and a bit less damage.
-Rex's forward smash, upsmash, up air, and back air now have less knockback growth. His tilts also got a bit less knockback and damage.

Indie Game Battle v1.93 released!
Hey everyone!
IGB v1.93 is out. Does some important changes! Here's the changelog:
**Additions**
-McPixel added to the character select.
**Changes & Improvements**
-Knockback growth in general is increased. Many moves may now kill earlier than before, making stocks faster as characters get KO'd earlier.
-Character weight now makes a bit more difference, so heavy characters will die a bit later and light characters will die a bit earlier.
-Changed some physics on Chip's side special. His vertical momentum in the air will now only reset if his vertical momentum is below a certain value.
-Updated the Bingo The Multiva logo to the current version.
-Landing effect when in tumble/launch improved.
**Balancing**
*Buffs*
-Chip's side special now pushes him with a bit more force, meaning it reaches further.
*Nerfs*
-Captain Viridian's upsmash now has less knockback growth.

Indie Game Battle v1.92 released!
Hey everyone!
IGB v1.92 is out! Does some very important fixes, as well as some cool additions and improvements. Here's the changelog:
**Additions**
-Added Jarvis's alt side special! Use it by holding the special attack button instead of tapping it.
-Added a new costume for Blue Blob.
**Changes & Improvements**
-Improved effects for Electroman. A lot of his moves now also have electric particles and trails. Some moves also got some screenshake.
**Fixes**
-Fixed some major bugs on many stages where the stage code seemed to have broken, leaving many stages without hazards or other features they usually have.
-Fixed bug where Jarvis could move a huge distance horizontally with up special if done correctly.
-Fixed bug where Jarvis's aerials lacked sharp hit effects on some hitboxes.
**Balancing**
*Buffs*
-Jarvis now has less endlag on up special.
-Electroman now has a faster forward smash. This means it comes out a bit earlier, and has a bit less endlag.
-Electroman's smash attacks now do a bit more damage.
-Electroman's jab hitbox (3rd hit) now lasts longer.
*Nerfs*
-Wizard's up special now does 5% damage instead of 10%.
-Jarvis now can't move as much sideways during up special.

Indie Game Battle v1.91 fix released!
Hey everyone!
Not a full new update actually, as this is more of a fix. Still though, it does some good things, so here's the changelog:
**Changes & Improvements**
-When pressing start again after readying up on the results screen you will start a 5 second timer. When the timer runs out the game will go back to the main menu regardless if all players are ready or not. This will prevent you getting stuck on the results screen if you have turned on other players while lacking controllers to ready up with.
-Damage text now has some shadow on it.
**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where player 1 could be a CPU in training mode.
-Fixed bug where amount of lives, time limit, game mode, etc would affect training mode.
-Fixed bug where the damage text would have lots of zeros on it.
-Fixed bug where the sourspot hitboxes on Electroman's forward air and down air could hit multiple times.

Indie Game Battle v1.91 released!
Hey everyone!
IGB v1.91 is out! This update finally finishes Wizard as a playable character, fixes some things, and does some improvements. Here's the changelog:
**Additions**
-theMeatly added to the character select.
-Added Wizard's side special, down special, and super attack. Also added 2 taunts. This means that Wizard is complete, and is no longer a WIP character!
**Changes & Improvements**
-Top blast zone on Green Boy Fields is now a bit lower.
-Updated some effects for Wizard.
-The "Lock Camera" button now says "Unlock Camera" when the camera is locked, to help indicate the locked state.
**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where some spin attack VFX wouldn't animate properly.
-Fixed bug where the camera would reposition itself on pause, even if it was locked.
**Balancing**
*Nerfs*
-Wizard now has to charge neutral special (and the new side special) for 4 seconds instead of 3.
