Indie Game Battle v1.90 released!

Hey everyone!

IGB v1.90 is out! Improves a lot of things, and introduces a lot of fixes in general. Here's the changelog:

**Additions**
-Added a track to Skyward Core.
-Added Tim Burr on the character select.

**Changes & Improvements**
-Tweaked some collisions on Showdown.
-Tweaked some lighting on several stages.
-Updated a track on The Sanctum.

**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where the hurtbox on Red Drop's body was way smaller than his actual body, making hits inaccurate and making him harder to hit than he should be.
-Fixed major bug where the 2nd hit of Pico's forward air had multi-hit properties, and would hit once every frame. While not noticeable on normal speed, it caused the move to be nearly an instant-kill if you slowed down the game speed.
-Fixed bug where Pico's super attack could cause errors. While this wouldn't affect gameplay itself, it could affect FPS and slow down the game.
-Fixed bug where Pico's down special grenade would only hurt with the grenade impact if it hit an enemy directly, and the explosion wouldn't hurt them. Now the explosion will hurt them as well as the impact itself, and do the damage it was intended to do.
-Fixed bug where The Kid's neutral air would sometimes hit twice.
-Fixed bug where dodging hitboxes on NPC enemies was impossible, and you would always get hit even if invincibility frames were active.

**Balancing**
*Buffs*
-Pico's down special now does more damage on the explosion.
-Pico's side special now does more damage than before.

*Nerfs*
-Matt now has more endlag on his smash attacks, especially down smash.

Indie Game Battle v1.89 released!

Hey everyone!

IGB v1.89 is out! More of a minor update, but it fixes some needed things and improves some AI. Here's the changelog:

**Changes & Improvements**
-The AI will now attack at higher range and therefore use more attacks in a less predictable way. Their attack range is also customized to each character.
-Updated a track on the Final Rift stage.

**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where the light source from the spawned stars during NoLegs' super attack would stay even after the attack.
-Fixed bug where Hank's icon wouldn't show properly on the start screen.
-Fixed bug where Shuri's icon and full render wouldn't show properly on the start screen and main menu screen.

Inide Game Battle v1.88 released!

Hey everyone!

IGB v1.88 is out! Improves some stages, among some other stuff. Here's the changelog:

**Additions**
-Added a brand new victory theme for Wizard.
-Added Hank to the character select screen.
-Added SFX when grabbing a ledge.

**Changes & Improvements**
-The Showdown stage has been improved with lots of new details.
-The Matt's Room stage has been completely revamped and improved.
-Some visual upgrades on the The Sanctum stage.
-Updated some stage icons.

**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where Captain Viridian's alts wouldn't load in matches.
-Fixed bug where Shuri couldn't appear on the start screen or the main menu like other characters.

**Balancing**

-The weaker multi-hits on Matt and Aria's up specials now have higher vertical base knockback so they connect better.

Indie Game Battle v1.87 released!

Hey everyone!

IGB v1.87 is out! Does more visual improvements, a bit of balancing, and a bit of fixes. Here's the changelog:

**Additions**
-Added some SFX for Bingo when he lands on the ground with his down special.

**Changes & Improvements**
-Shields have been visually improved with some added detail and more animated textures.
-Shields will now show cracks when at low health.
-Improved the shieldbreak effect.
-When shielding a hit, your damage percent will no longer shake as if you got hit.
-When hit, your damage percent will now flash white.
-Normal ledge getup now has slight invincibility frames at the start to make it a better ledge option.
-When doing a normal ledge getup you will move a bit more forwards than before.
-When grabbing a ledge, the cooldown before you can do a normal ledge getup is now shorter, allowing you to do it faster like the roll and the jump options.
-When a character gets hit, the screen shake is now faster and lasts shorter, but also stronger. This makes hits feel more powerful.
-Showdown's top blast zone is now a bit lower.

**Balancing**

-Aria's double jump is now a bit higher.

-Aria's up air now does a bit less damage.
-Aria's down air now does a bit less damage.

Indie Game Battle v1.86 released!

Hey everyone!

IGB v1.86 is out! This update fixes some stuff, as well as completely rewords the UI during matches, adds a useful infobox (especially to new players) on the main menu, and more. Here's the changelog:

**Additions**
-Added an infobox at the bottom of the main menu. When hovering over a button, this infobox will tell you what each button does and where it will take you.

**Changes & Improvements**
-The UI during matches has been greatly improved and redesigned.

**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where some multi-hit moves would make the target ignore hits shortly after. Making quick combos impossible/difficult since the target would sometimes not be hit by any quick attacks immediately after.
-Fixed bug where the audio volume button wouldn't change the volume immediately, and would only change the volume if you restarted the game or played a match.
-Fixed bug where only Poncho's default color would have normal maps.
-Fixed missing texture error on one of Chip's alt colors.

Hey everyone!

IGB v1.85 is out! Does some cool visual improvements as well as some fixes. Here's the changelog:

**Additions**
-Added a new idle animation for Matt.
-Characters who currently lack a super attack will now get a temporary buff in attack power and super armor instead.

**Changes & Improvements**
-Retextured Matt, Aria, Chip, and Huey quite a bit and added a lot of extra detail.

**Fixes**
-Fixed bug where reseting the camera during pause would sometimes let you rotate the camera more than intended.
-Fixed bug on certain stages such as Matt's Room where the background would look very strange if you rotated the camera.
-Fixed bug on the Matt's Room stage where Matt would appear in the background even if someone played as him.

Indie Game Battle v1.84 released!

Hey everyone!

IGB v1.84 is out! This update fixes quite a bit on the pause menu, and adds new camera options during pause. Lets anyone who is a fan of taking screenshots or recording videos do some cool new things!
Here's the changelog:

**Additions**
-When holding the jump button during pause, you can now rotate the camera up, down, left, and right.
-Added the Reset Camera option on the pause menu. Use it to reset the camera back to it's default rotation.
-Added the Lock Camera option on the pause menu. Use it to lock the camera in position, even after you unpause.

**Changes & Improvements**
-When playing at the quality level "Good" or "Fastest", the game will now use LOD (level of detail). Because of this, some models may now become more low-poly to allow the game to run faster on weaker machines. LOD levels may also be used if the camera is far away from objects.
-The Dream Shrine stage now uses LOD levels and should be much more optimized on lower quality.
-The Skyward Core stage now uses LOD levels and should be much more optimized on lower quality.
-Blue Blob now uses LOD levels.
-When paused, the camera will move much smoother, and it will also move less when zoomed in so you can get more accurate movement when looking closely at something.
