Additions:

  • Added a new variation to each town building (6+ new models)


Changes:

  • Fixed popping of objects (will now cross-fade/ larger LoD ranges)
  • Random Generation creates now sometimes larger woods instead of multiple single trees
  • Optimization of FPS/Less Scrolling lags:

    1. rewrote part of object manager (loads now faster new buildings when scrolling)
    2. town building models redone (lowered the amount of vertexes on a lot of town buildings and used material amount/ should now run faster over larger towns)
    3. removed the nearly never used models of each build level for each town building (were rarely shown in the end and used up too much performance/ creates now construction models around the building being built while increasing in size with higher build level until finished)



Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue in the path-finding of trucks (there was still an issue when being unable to detect end goal in search range on first detection path and unable to find a definite answer, resulting in moving down the wrong path/ will now start a second search on the other path that might have the end goal in search-range)

  • Balance changes:

    1. Product: Wheels, now needs only 1x rubber instead of 2x (caused cars to use too much raw rubber for a single car)
    2. Raw Rubber Production Increased by x1.35

  • Changed and re-enabled wheel menu:

    1. added missing new buttons (more building categories and lists)
    2. fixed a few issues

  • Demolishing tool mechanics changed:

    1. is now selecting via holding left mouse button
    2. releasing left mouse button will trigger now demolishing
    3. pressing right mouse button while holding left mouse button will cancel demolishing

  • Deform tool mechanics optimized:

    1. Deform point will now be controlled better (Will find now nearest point instead of always left down of mouse cursor)
    2. New Area Flatten Mode (Right Mouse Button) = will now use cerulean colored point as for changing everything around it to the same level (often more expensive)

  • Done a few optimizations in the path building function (should cause less lags/faster building)


Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the loading system tried to load a wrong slot when there are some free slots between saved games
  • Fixed some issues where the space of a terminal could be filled due vehicles not unregistering themselves (will do now extra check when full, if it is really still filled)
  • Fixed a few errors that could occur when changing material on objects
  • Fixed an issue with positioning "Air Terminal (Normal)"
  • Fixed an issue where it was impossible to build electric or mono rail terminals
  • Fixed an issue where the details were not added when removing a building
  • Fixed also an issue in turning vehicles on a hill street (could lead to vehicles below map, stopped turning there for the time being)
  • Fixed a few path building issues as it would sometimes create normal street instead of an hill one
  • Fixed a few issues in research window:

    1. Fixed missing tooltip
    2. Fixed research icons not showing state "unable to research"

    1. Fixed an issue where turning around function was bugged

    1. Building Menu would sometimes close when changing just left panel buttons (was not needed for some buttons to close)
    2. Left Panel building menu was not unsetting buttons when changing between industry and store
    3. Windows could still be opened when using a mouse mode

  • Fixed a lot of issues with bridges and tunnels:

    1. Fixed an issue when moving over a bridge or in a tunnel setting move speed to 0 of a vehicle/train
    2. It was possible to modify terrain on a bridge/tunnel starting point
    3. Fixed a few issues removing them (would leave some data back which was detected when building another bridge/tunnel over the same area)

  • Changed the broken plane sound for a simple 3D sound which will change pan depending on speed
  • Animation adjustments

    1. Changed some positioning animations when entering dock as ship
    2. Changed starting/landing animations for planes

    4. Adjusted the joint point of truck and train trailers

  • Performance Adjustments:

    1. Water takes less performance due not using the reflections of buildings
    2. ObjectManager now uses a faster way to get the right object from the pool (bit faster scrolling)

  • Config will now be loaded on startup and resolution will also be set then (now before loading screen)
  • Added mission status to mission list on the right

    1. Fixes for a few Errors in Option Settings (could cause low FPS due spamming errors in background/wrong button names)
    2. Detects out of memory error and shows player the error while telling him to restart game as the game will try to lower the settings for less needed RAM
    3. Fixed an Error that occurred while loading a tutorial

  • Fixes for UI issues

    1. Fixed a few smaller issues in the custom map starting settings
    2. Fixed some issues with opening resource industry list
    3. Fixed wrong building list when building jewelery/tool/electronic industry

  • Fixed an issue where middle mouse button was not stopping all mouse modes (should now stop even building)
  • Fix for a crash occurring after loading twice a game with vehicles (deleting vehicles would Unity to crash, uses now an ObjectPool)
  • Fixed missing isle mode in random settings (was turned off)
  • Fix for the water shader (some reflection/refraction layers were missing)
  • Fixes for broken Storage Windows and Storage Settings (was unable to set storage/storage info wasn't loaded)
  • Vehicles will now stop if they should turn around very often per second for some reason (will allow player to find issue)
  • Default config now starts in window mode 720p (1280x720) after first installation (until I fixed the UI issue after first start)

  • Towns will recreate and update their street network

    1. towns after 2020 will create better streets from the middle to outside (over time)
    2. towns will change any non town street to a street one in town range (over time)

  • Some UI size changes:

    1. cut left panel size in half
    2. lowered upper panel size of about 30%
    3. New smaller build menu (more icon based)

  • Upgrade Tool for paths (kind of like demolish tool)

    1. allows you to select road/rail + upgrade tool
    2. holding down left mouse button and moving mouse selects area
    3. releasing mouse button confirms selection and click on "ok" will upgrade everything in the area

    3. Fixed an issue with some animations for text buttons (would sometimes stop to scale the text by mouseover)
    4. Fixed an issue with opening different submenus in option window
    5. Tutorial "next" button was not working

  • Fix for an issue that could cause a truck to get stuck in a terminal when running without loadout settings
  • Fix for an issue where it was possible to build manually two street part "hill" together which had different rotations, due creating an impossible up/down for trucks

Performance Optimization:

  • redone the function for terrain modifications and should now be way faster
  • reworked a lot of models and added last missing ones to texture atlases to lower needed performance
