Changes/Additions :

  • Full UI overhaul

    1. Changed to new Unity UI System 3D UI and Shadows for a more "modern" look
    2. Animated stylized Buttons for a more "modern" look
    3. Added/Changed also some UI Sounds
    4. Setting up Vehicle completely changed and made much easier to create new routes
    5. Added 10 new load and save slots
    6. Overview Infos will turn towards camera to easier read them
    7. Loading is done passive and will not cause a large lagg spike while loading
    8. Information Windows will show up automatically even for vehicles now
    9. Information is much easier to find and relevant Information is shown "first"
    10. Extra end cost information about a product in sale settings
    11. Added a lot more Buttons with Icons for easier use (tooltip will show name)
    12. Lists can now be navigated via scrollbar/mousewheel (no zooming over windows)
    13. nearly always at top right close button (all same style now)
    14. dragable with any mouse button (all windows stay in screen)
    15. Windows of vehicles/buildings can now be opened via single left click
    16. Side Panel (Much smaller and easier to navigate due more Icons used)
    17. Able to turn on/off Left Side Panel
    18. Wheel Menu (allows selection of any main function via holding mouse button down)

  • Partly reworked Editor

    1. added more options to modify/remove towns
    2. added more options to set up map properties
    3. easier to create random maps

  • Added extra data to be able to restart on same map settings (old saves will start with default settings)
  • Removed option for "concrete floor" (all have now concrete floor without extra costs and won't lower maintance costs)
  • Vehicles got now additional movement sounds depending on their speed vs max speed
  • Water Shader changed again (best water so far)


Bug Fixes :

  • some localization changes due new UI
  • changed a lot of "try/catch" tries to normal if detection/file detection (makes code partly more stable)
  • fixed an issue where sound volumes of vehicles were not set to set value in options
  • fixed an issue when loading config file

Changes/Additions :

  • added a new variation for large 2x1 and small 2x2 town buildings (will spawn on newly created maps)
  • lowered all building levels for town buildings (some had over 15 levels)
  • larger cities now possible as max pop changed from 5000 to nearly 15000
  • added new traffic light system

    1. creates lights for streets with multiple paths
    2. changes state every few second (5sec)
    3. more realistic driving

  • traffic limit optimized

    1. way more traffic as before as max limit changed from 5000 to 20000
    2. fixes of car script and wrong curve movement
    3. optimized car code to be way faster to support all cars running in cities over whole map realtime



Bug Fixes :

  • a few more pathfinding fixes for trucks
  • fixed an issue where data of building level wasn't removed sometimes
  • fixed some issues with detecting actual population of a city (town centers didn't got added to pop)
  • some adjustments to the town upgrade function (should take bit less performance/ less lag spikes)
  • fixed a bunch of errors that could occur

    1. shader caused error on start with dx9 and 10 cards (removed DoF and Camera Blur Shader for the time being)
    2. vehicle window didn't had connection to vehicle data when selecting sometimes loadout
    3. trying to start research over max level was causing error
    4. some errors in new animation system for trucks and trains fixed
    5. some missing links to other scripts could cause rarely an error
    6. upgrade marker could cause error near end of map
    7. fixed a few errors that the player AI could cause while building

Changes/Additions :

  • added player overview icon over all owned buildings/vehicles
  • redone trailer animation system (trains/trucks)

    1. uses now Unity Mechanism Animation System
    2. more precise and easier to handle (still needs some tweaking)
    3. trucks are now only unloading container
    4. better animation on freeway

  • added some more stages to the main town building
  • lowered some build/repair costs for food stores/industries

Bug Fixes :

  • some performance adjustments for the object manager
  • lots of texture issue fixes on models
  • fixed a few animation issues with truck and train trailers
  • trucks would try to change lane on freeway(curve), which led to trucks driving off street
  • fixed detection issue with truck trailers which were not being picked up by other trucks
  • fixed a few more errors occurring while playing
  • info window opened due clicking through UI Elements (mostly list buttons)
  • truck ai was not clever enough to find the right path
  • some other adjustments to truck ai pathfinding
  • you could still open windows or use hotkeys while saving
  • vehicle sound volume was not set to actual settings after buying a new vehicle
  • fixed also a bunch of other smaller issues

Changes/Additions :

  • changed most particle effects to a newer version (better looks/performance)
  • added DX 11 Support for some Image Effects which were turned off before (will fallback on DX9 if DX11 not possible)
  • added indicator for which slot is getting set up when setting up stores/storages

  • fixed an issue with the speed of the day/night cycle
  • fixed a few texture issues on some models (displaced/missing textures)
  • fixed an issue with placing a building too high over the map when using concrete floor

Changes/Additions :

  • train update:

    1. autodetection for getting all connections between signals
    2. allows now multiple signals on a single block
    3. able to add multiple types of signals (atm only normal mulitconnect, signal with up to 5 other signals connected)
    4. lowered prices for rails immense as they were way too high
    5. added new rail to the game: crossroad (can be modified with signals like normal switches)
    6. transfered truck pathfinding over to trains and modified it for signals (way more stable as the detection function before)

  • also lowered prices for nearly all vehicles when buying

    1. trains = 15-35% less
    2. ships = 40-80% less (hovercrafts were way too expensive)
    3. planes = 30-50% less

  • able to toggle pause in the game via "ESC"/"escape" button (will stop any vehicle interactions. Buying and setting up still available)
  • done some more optimization on terrain (should fix other lag issues with scrolling/turning camera)
  • highered overall light to make stuff at night better visible
  • lowered texture sizes (playing multiple maps will fill the object pool to max which could result in overused ram)
  • news window will auto close after a few seconds and spawn at side of screen (5 sec there)

Bug Fixes :

  • multiple fixes for train/rail:

    1. fixed an issue where train could spin multiple times before ending his rotation
    2. fixed some derailing issues
    3. added missing rail models like SCurve and Mirrored for electric and mono rails

  • fixed a few issues with playing multiple maps getting poor performance (could lead to start of multiple coroutines of same type)
  • fixed an issue in the function to move camera on minimap (was sometimes moving to a wrong position)
  • fixed a few errors occurring in the change material function (caused the influence area not being shown of terminals)
  • fixed an issue with the news window not stopping the click function (could click behind window)
  • fixed an issue in truck pathfinding (can now fallback further in detecting path, giving better options)
  • fixed also some more errors
  • and fixed a few other smaller issues

  • fixed vehicle detection for trucks (was sending raycast to the wrong position)
  • fixed some issue in path detection for trucks (if it had to take a large detour it would get stuck, highered detection range)
  • fixed the issue with industries spawning too near town (was wrongly calculating range to nearest town)
  • fixed an issue where a building was not changing material to transparent blue (was causing an error due not finding the renderer)
  • fixed a few issues with the lists for industries and vehicles (could open resource industry setup/opening vehicle window could cause some error)
  • fixed a few text issues with option tooltip and option names (send report and texture grid option had sometimes wrong names)
  • fixed issue of tutorial arrow being in the way of buttons (will render arrow now behind GUI when clicking)
  • fixed a bunch of errors which occurred while playing (reports are helping a lot)
  • fixed an issue where the path tool would create a town building instead of a street (wrong id used)
