1 WEEKS NOTICE BEFORE UPDATES FROM NOW ON

After my last update, i had the first mention of anybody losing run data due to updates.

I feel really bad about that, i'm sure others have too, i know it feels great to get far then to lose your progress is very annoying.

So anyway from now on i will give 1 weeks warning from this announcement board with a date before i upload any more updates, hopefully from this point on nobody will lose their run progress due to an update.

Got like 5 or 6 jumps in repairing my lander, as i go. whats that my lander isnt repaired??! doh!

* FIXED BUG WITH LANDER CONDITION NOT IMPROVING AFTER BEING REPAIRED.

Had to be done... sorry to anybody who lost a run.

EMP WEAPONS AND CRATE DROPS

* FIXED EMP TURRET DESCRIPTION, EMP WEAPONS NOW DRAIN THE TARGETS REACTOR AS WELL AS CAUSING DAMAGE! THE DESCRIPTION NOW REFLECTS THIS. (SAME FOR ENEMY EMP WEAPONS)

* FIXED BUG WITH OCCASIONAL EXTRA ITEM DROP FROM CRATES.

* YOU CAN NOW FIND GRENADES AND A PILE OF SMALL SCRAP IN SMALL CRATES.

A few more bug, stability and balance fixes:

* Game now auto saves a lot more so if it ever crashes try the continue button it should be close to where you left off :-)

* Fixed hyper particle crash

* Fixed scrap asteroid move speed

* Reduced big scrap drops

* Fixed next level number showing up wrong

BIG UPDATE ON THE WAY IN NEXT FEW DAYS

Hi Interstellar rogues!

Just want you all to know i'm working as fast as i can to bring a big update in the next few days, say within a week.

It fixes many issues as well as bringing a fair bit of new content.

Please try to finish any on going runs you have as it wont be compatible with run saves.

Thoughts about criticism and a few tips for those struggling

Hi to all you interstellar rogues out there!

So I have had some great reviews, most notably from space game junkie. I have been watching him play quite a bit and learned a lot from it.

Sooo I also have had my first non press review which was terrible :-/. But after chatting with said reviewer and listening to other criticism I have learned my tutorials really need expanding.

Theres quite a few mechanics I thought people would figure out really quickly that they just seem to miss(at first at least).

I cant do any updates right now, but will be able to in about 3 weeks.
These are some features I plan to add.

* several extra tutorial sections to explain a few mechanics.

* a lander practice zone.

* some alternative control modes for the lander section.

* I also plan to get some help with my typos.

For now here's a few pointers for things that may not be clear:

* the game is paused while in the inventory.

* the game saves automatically when you exit through the options screen, available in the top left of the inventory screen.

* you do not need to land on deralicts you can jump right out and leave your ship hanging in space.

* f1 will give you a key map.

* lock on weapons do not fire automatically. Use right mouse button.

* drop weapons like mines and drop turrets also dont fire on auto. Use secondary fire, right mouse button.

* theres a medals screen on the main menu it tells you what you need to do to get them.

* When you sell an item the thing that comes out of your ship is a selling drone it costs 30 fuel and 1 big scrap to make.

* if enemies are too hard just hyperdrive away from them.

* using the lander you chan change you thrust in cruise control from 0 to 100

Some of this info is already in tooltips and tutorial sections but seems to confuse people.

If anybody needs help please put it up on the discussion board and I will do my best to help.

FINAL BOSS FIX

I did a run yesterday flying to jump 21 as fast as i could in the EPA flying saucer and.... i managed to win!!! just using speed alone! sooooo its not meant to be that easy!!! the mainframe now fields 4 hard beams which replace 4 of its missle launchers, that should balance things out against any tiny unupgraded superfast craft ːsteamhappyː


* Mainframe now has teeth, Hard beams i mean ːsteammockingː

* Blowing up fuel and 02 cans should now be more stable
