As promised, here's a pretty significant update to celebrate new Pig Year! In addition to balance tweaks, UI changes and leaderboard reset, everybody gets a free Santa Pig snoutfit! Just something to keep your pig warm this winter :)
So, here's what's new:
Santa Snoutfit for everyone!
Leaderboard and highscore reset
Pig Vs 100 leaderboard
Chainsaw & football wolf AI change
Light input spam protection
Fixed Steam overlay crash
Heads can be kicked multiple times now
Tapping "down" will repeat low kick
Changed logo
A bunch of bug fixes and UI tweaks
If you cared about your previous highscores and leaderboard standings - fear not. I will be adding a proper history browser in the next update, it's just taking way more time than I anticipated for something only few will actually use.
Let me know if there are any issues with this update!
Starting 2019 with a sizable Iron Snout update, which will include a bunch of balance tweaks, UI changes, long overdue reset of leaderboards and highscores as well as a small gift - free snoutift!
Here are a few significant changes to look for:
Chainsaw & Football wolves will be less annoying now
added light keyboard spam protection
lifted the "ground level" to make the game look nicer
multiple low kick attacks are now allowed
fixed an issue where heads couldn't be kicked multiple times
fixed multiple bugs related to projectiles
frame resets for weapon attacks to make them look nicer
Turn on the beta channel for Iron Snout to try it out first and let me know if you'll find any issues! If all goes well, the update will be live in a day or two.

Don't forget to check out my Toaster Jam game, since it's going to get big updates this year too, which could increase the price, so get it while it's cheaper!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/590950/Toaster_Jam/ And I am planning to release Bacon May Die this year, I promise. Just gotta complete a few other things first.
Happy Turkey Eating Day if that's your thing! I wanted to take this chance to thank you all for your continuous support, whenever you buy my games, review, share or just play them - every little bit helps me out a lot! Thank you very much!
Snoutfits on Sale
Since it's Autumn Sale on Steam, you can now get Snoutfit DLC 15% cheaper and it currently has 6 outfits, which makes it a pretty good deal!
Just a day ago I updated Toaster Jam with Steam Workshop integration for its level editor, so check it out if you like making crazy challenges for others! There are already some awesome level packs to expand the base game and I have some cool things planned for the future. By the way, leave a Toaster review if you can, Steam needs 10 of them to generate the score!
You can also win a Toaster Jam key if you follow me on Twitter and retweet this: https://twitter.com/SnoutUp/status/1064520632250048512
Future Plans
Currently I'm working on a few bigger updates for both Iron Snout, Toaster Jam, as well as starting a new game, but I also plan to get back to Bacon May Die in December. So, keep your eyes open for more snouts!

I released a new little game to play while you wait for me to finish Bacon May Die. This one is much less bloody and has fewer pigs in it, but give it a go and you might like it!
Toaster Jam is a mouse-only (gamepad support coming soon) arcade with light puzzle elements, where you control a jumpy toaster looking for slices of bread to toast! It has a level editor, which soon will be connected to Steam Workshop, so even with short base playtime you will not run out of things to do for quite a while!
And it has Steam Trading Cards now! And I accidentally turned one of mine to gems while testing...
So check out Toaster Jam Store page, watch gameplay video, maybe it's something you'll like or maybe you want to support my game making (appreciated) - buy it, review it, share it!
Don't forget to follow my Twitter if you don't want to miss any key giveaways!
Next week I'm launching a little arcade/puzzle game on Steam, which was approved and ready to release since forever (remember Steam GreenLight?). It's way different than what you'd expect from me after Iron Snout or Bacon May Die, but I feel like it might find its audience!
And it'll have Steam Trading Cards on launch, which I'm very excited about!
If you'd like to test it out before release, write me an email to snoutupgames@gmail.com and I will send a few keys out!
Cheers!
Spooky Zombie Piggie!
Boo, snout kickers!
Check out the latest and zombiest addition to Iron Snout skins and don't be scared to grab Snoutfit DLC with -15% discount while Halloween sale is still here!
EDIT: Volleyball ONLINE multiplayer is now available for everyone!
I bet you didn't expect for this to ever happen and neither did I! But here we are - the latest update added actual online multiplayer for Volleyball Mode. Currently hosting is only available for DLC owners, but anyone can be invited or join the game (Windows only for now).
Limitations and known issues:
It's P2P over Steam Networking so lag will be a problem
Spawning enemies on button press is not available
Multiple ball mode is completely untested
User interface needs to be improved
Stability issues when one player times out or quits the game
Custom outfits will not work
If you have DLC and got someone to test that mode out online - I would love to hear your feedback and ideas on how to improve it! You will find "HOST GAME" button in the Volleyball mode menu and after that others can join or be invited to the game.
Good news to DLC owners or those who are looking forward to buying it - new Eastern European pig outfit is now available with no increase in price!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/826650/Iron_Snout__Snoutfit_DLC/ To everyone else... A brand new game mode is now available to try it out! Fight 100 wolves and try to get a best time (leaderboards coming soon)! It's in an early stages right now, but a lot of cool(er) stuff can be built on it!
Let me know if the new game mode is too easy or too difficult or if 100 enemies are too much? Maybe it gives you ideas for another mode?
Whoa, did you hear that? What's that shadow? It looks like a new content for Snoutfit DLC! A ninja would never miss an opportunity to kill and you shouldn't miss an opportunity to get Iron Snout DLC with launch discount, since this one ends on Monday and it will take a while since Steam will allow another.
And that's not all! From now on DLC owners will be able to create their own outfits and load them up in the game easily. I will write a guide on how to do that this weekend and will provide a base template for you to follow!
At the moment I can't promise, that players will be able to use these features without owning DLC, but that is something I'm thinking about for the future.
P.S. fixed that bug which would throw a dozen of same projectiles if you'd press down while doing a flip kick.
P.P.S. If you own the DLC, it would be great if you could leave it a review - it would make it more visible on Steam!
