  • Blacksmith
    - Ingots will now show recipes in small dropdown once ingot is on the anvil and you have hammer equipped
    - Ingots can be heated up in the furnace or forge and it requires a certain temp to progress on item creation
  • Reworked harvest system
    - We made changes on harvesting to match new modular weapons tools[HP based]
    - Foliage now spawns a random number of items + there is a chance to get extra items [Example - Bush with berries have small chances to drop seeds]
    - Different tools will result in different item drop once you skin animal

Announcement - Harvesting issue

We had few people reported that they cant harvest foliage.

It's primarily a problem with older users.


This seems to be a conflict of old saves and configs with new saves and configs. Also as Steam cloud, Syncs older saves it can cause this issue.

step 1
Turn off steam cloud on JOL game.
Go to Steam Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata and erase folder under number 794490

step 2
Write down %appdata% into the start menu
It should open a window. Search for Journey of Life folder and erase the whole folder.

step 3
Go to My Documents and erase Journey of Life inside My games folder.

step 4
Run game.
