DLC No. 5 "Senseki Line" is now available!
Thank you for playing JR East Train Simulator. Thank you for your patience, and we are pleased to announce the release of the fifth DLC, "Senseki Line", today, May 30 (Tue.)!
About the Line
The Senseki Line is a 49.0 km long line connecting Sendai City in the central part of Miyagi Prefecture and Ishinomaki City in the northeast, and is the only DC electrified line in the Tohoku region. Like the Saikyo Line, ATACS is used in some sections (Aobadori Station to Higashi-Shiogama Station). In the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, the Senseki Line, which runs along the coast, was severely damaged by the earthquake and tsunami, and the entire line was shut down. The line between Rikuzen-Otsuka and Rikuzen-Ono stations, located in low-lying areas and particularly heavily damaged, was relocated to higher ground inland, and resumed full service on May 30, 2015, four years after the line was closed. In conjunction with the restoration of all lines, a connecting line was established between Matsushimakaigan Station and Takagimachi Station to connect from the Tohoku Main Line, and the "Senseki Tohoku Line" began direct service. The Senseki Tohoku Line operates between Takagimachi Station and Ishinomaki Station, and HB-E210 series diesel trains also operate on the line. The first half of the line (from Aobadori Station to Hon-Shiogama Station) runs through a bedroom town of Sendai, the middle part (from Hon-Shiogama Station to Tona Station) runs along Matsushima Bay with Matsushima, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, at its side, and the latter half (from Tona to Ishinomaki Station) runs through a rural landscape.

”Keihin-Tohoku Line and Negishi Line" Basic Pack is updated free of charge!
Thank you for playing JR East Train Simulator. Thank you for your patience. The Keihin-Tohoku Line," which was well received in the Early Access version, is now back in the basic pack with an extended section!
About the Route
The Keihin-Tohoku Line and Negishi Line are major lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area connecting Omiya Station in Saitama Prefecture and Ofuna Station in Kanagawa Prefecture. The safety system are implemented with D-ATC (Digital ATC), which allows passengers to grasp the allowable speed with a speedometer at hand. Between Tabata and Tamachi Stations, the line runs parallel to the Yamanote Line, and the Keihin Tohoku Line operates as a rapid train in this section during the daytime. (*This video was recorded before the opening of Takanawa Gateway Station.)
*The voice "The stop pattern is for each station" is followed by "The stop pattern is for rapid trains", but this is due to the specification when operating the driver's cab selection switch and reproduces the actual environment.

Rumoi Main Line simulator production was featured in a news program.
The JR Hokkaido Rumoi Main Line simulator that we recently announced was in production was featured in a HTB Hokkaido TV news program on April 20.
First other company line! We will start producing DLC for JR Hokkaido Rumoi Line
Thank you for playing JR East Train Simulator.
This time we have a big surprise for you all!
We have just released JR East train simulators for the Tokaido Line, Chuo Line Rapid Service, Oito Line, Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line, but this time we have decided to go beyond the boundaries of our company and start working on other companies' lines for the first time.
The line is JR Hokkaido's Rumoi Main Line, a section of which (Ishikari-Numada Station to Rumoi Station) was regrettably discontinued on April 1, 2023.
With the full cooperation of JR Hokkaido, we were able to record simulator footage of the Ishikari-Numada Station-Rumoi Station section of the line by using a dedicated train for filming just prior to the discontinuation of the line.
The simulator was created with JR Hokkaido's wish that the Rumoi Main Line will remain in everyone's memories forever.
About the release plan
<*> Route: JR Hokkaido Rumoi Main Line Down: Fukagawa → Rumoi <*> Train: Kiha 54 type <*> Amount: Undecided <*> Release date: Late March 2024
