Since the update of the Steam client on September 11, there has been an issue with the Zuiki controller not working properly when you select theZuiki controller from the controller settings and play. We are currently working with Valve Corporation to investigate the cause of this issue.
Based on the information we have received since the problem occurred, we have compiled a tentative countermeasure to make the mass control handles work when playing the game.
Countermeasure (1) By connecting the Zuiki controller to USB after the opening of JR East Train Simulator, the mass control handle may work without the need for additional settings.
Countermeasure (2) ①If the mass control handle does not work in Countermeasure (1), click “Library” in the Steam client and click “JR East Train Simulator” from the left menu. ②When the “JR East Train Simulator” screen appears, click the controller icon or “View Controller Settings” on the right side of the screen. ③Click “Driving Controls” or “Edit Layout”. ④ Click “Joysticks” on the left side of the screen, then click “Master Controller (one handle)” for the left joystick operation in the center of the screen. ⑤ Click “Master Controller (one handle)” when the choice of options for the left joysticks is displayed. ⑥ Click “B Back”. When ① to ⑥ are completed, the setting is complete.
Thank you very much for providing us with the information related to the problem through comments on the bulletin board, etc. Thank you for your continued support of JR EAST Train Simulator.

▢Yokosuka Line
About the Route
The Yokosuka Line is a 23.9 km long line connecting Kurihama Station in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture and Ōfuna Station in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Although the official name of Ōfuna Station to Tōkyō Station is Tōkaidō main line, trains run directly from Kurihama Station to Tōkyō Station, so the line between Kurihama and Tōkyō Stations is known as the Yokosuka Line. In 1980, the Sobu Rapid Line started direct service from Tōkyō Station to Chiba, and it can go to Chiba and Narita Airport and other areas in Chiba Prefecture. The Narita Express, a limited express train bound for Narita Airport, and other trains with various destinations can be seen. In 2001, the Shōnan Shinjuku Line began direct service from Zushi Station to Utsunomiya Station, providing convenient access to Shinjuku Station and other Tōkyō subcenters and to the Utsunomiya Line. The train leaves Kurihama Station for Yokohama Station via Yokosuka Station, a military port town; Kamakura Station, famous for the Daibutsu statue and Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine; and Ōfuna Station, where the train joins the Tōkaidō Main Line. After Yokohama Station, the line separates from the Tōkaidō Main Line near Tsurumi Station and heads for Shinagawa Station while running alongside the Tōkaidō Shinkansen via Shin-Kawasaki Station where the Shin-Tsurumi Engine Works, and Musashi-kosugi Station is spead. After Shinagawa Station, the line goes underground to Tōkyō Station, its final destination. We hope you enjoy the various landscapes from the suburbs to the city and the many parallel trains.

Next route to be distributed
Thank you for playing JR EAST Train Simulator!
We hope everyone is enjoying the update we made on Tuesday, September 24.
Regarding the newly added driver voice for the Hachinohe Line, we received a comment that “it is interesting that the call-outs are quite different from those on other lines. We are encouraged by the many positive comments and your candid reviews, such as “I am glad to experience routes I don't have yet,” about the addition of some routes to the basic pack. Thank you again for the many reviews and supportive comments.
Now, did everyone get the hint about the next delivery route that was in the announcement at the time of the last update?
Let's try to answer the question, what was the line that "24364"represented?
・
・
・
The meaning of "24364" was “the distance from the starting point of a railroad crossing that exists on a certain line,” referring to the famous Yahata No. 2 crossing(24,364 meters from the starting point), where trains come just barely close enough to turn around. Speaking of the Yahata No. 2 railroad crossing, you all know what I'm talking about, don't you?
So, the next DLC will be "Yokosuka Line"!

Model: E217(4car・11car・15car)
