I'm just noticing that more and more negative reviews are rolling in and would like to counteract this. The game was once listed as very positive and is currently suffering from an onslaught of negative reviews.
I would like to ask you what exactly you don't like about it. Please keep in mind that this is not a big title or a finished product. I am just an indie developer, I am NOT working in a team, I am working completely alone on this game and I am also funding everything alone.
The game is a sandbox game in a natural and post-apocalyptic environment. The game is based on the wishes of the community and my tasks are development, writing news, promotion, creating videos for the community, designing graphics and general tasks like support and much more.

What I often read out in the negative reviews is the building crafting, lootboxes, and pet behavior.
Often users think they have to axe everything they've built.
Solution: With the hammer you can all the things that you have built: Upgrade, dismantle and destroy.
Users use lootboxes that are placed firmly in the world and wonder why their belongings disappear.
Solution: Permanently installed loot boxes in the world are not meant to be storage, so the disappearance of content should be understandable. These boxes reset themselves after a certain amount of time to provide new loot.
Animals behaving strangely, standing around or just falling over.
Solution: Animals have independent behavior, they stand still, they walk, they run away, they attack, they mate, they slow down when they get hurt and they die a natural death.

Hello Community, now you can activate the free Zombie DLC.
No download is required, this DLC automatically activates all features that are needed. You also do NOT need to deactivate it if you only want to play "Natural Survival". You can choose between "Natural Survival" and "Zombie Survival" in-game before creating a server.
Please note that while the DLC is not listed as EA, they are still working on improving and expanding it.
It won't meet all expectations yet, but it should be a start so you can play against zombies.

Good news, I would like to announce a little news here in advance, everything is currently going according to plan for the completion of the upcoming zombie DLC. The DLC is free for all KeepUp Survival users as announced.
- The plan is to release it in the coming weeks, I have announced a firm date but as everyone knows something can come up. The DLC will also be released along with the upcoming update.
- There will also be more changes to the upcoming update, all streetlights will be turned on automatically at night again, houses will also have more lighting.
- To be able to defend yourself better, there will be new hand weapons. All weapons will be available for the DLC and also without the DLC.
- Small explosives are also planned, but these will be released with an intermediate update.
- Also, you now have the ability to fly better through the world with the paraglider. On the Lost Island, for now, there will be fans that will always give you lift (later in the DLC's as well). It is planned to limit flying at the beginning and make it usable from day 5 (game time).
- For the upcoming changes for 2 different characters there is no exact date yet, here you will have to be patient for a bit.

About me!
I often get inquiries from users about where I'm from and how I do it all. So I would like to tell you a little bit about me here.
Where are you from? I'm from Germany, have been a family man for 15 years and am now 36 years old. My dream has always been to do something better, to have something of my own, to stand on my own two feet and be independent. I think many people have this dream, but to achieve it, you have a hard road ahead.
What are your interests? My interests have always been in computers, graphics, (clan/game) web design and also game development. I've taught myself everything in a roundabout way over the years. But that's what I love to do and would do again and again. From that, I built my dream and started my sole proprietorship.
What are you working on right now? I'm currently developing KeepUp Survival, which has been in (Early Access) since February 26, 2021. It's not a title that blows you away, and not everyone likes it, but it appeals to a small part of the Steam community, which I'm very happy about. I really hope that it will become more and that I will gain some notoriety with my work. I'm definitely very grateful for the small streamers and users who have always supported me along the way and continue to do so.
What are your tasks? My job consists of developing games, writing news, advertising, creating videos for the community, designing graphics, and general tasks that come with being a sole proprietor. In addition, constant support via the CommunityHUB, Discord, and email is often at the forefront of my mind, which takes up a lot of my time. My work hours are often over 10 to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Do you still have a private life? To be honest, no. I try to achieve something with my work and what I have built up. Of course, I make time for that too, but work comes first. When you work independently, you always have the fear that the ship will start to sink. I think you understand me!
Do you work on other games as well? Yes, I work on other games as well. But the main development is KeepUp Survival, I only work on these games outside my working hours or when I need a clear head.

As previously announced, there will be a free zombie DLC.
KeepUp Survival is a kind of game that is not about killing zombies. Due to frequent requests, I have decided to offer a free zombie DLC. This will allow the user to play against zombies.
Again, I don't want to give an exact date yet because it's a lot of work to implement these things. I'm trying to implement a lot of things quickly, but please be patient.
Unreal Engine
The game is currently based on Unreal Engine 4 and will be moving to Unreal Engine 5 in the future. Again, unfortunately, this is not done overnight, nor is it mandatory to make this change. But I want to let you know that I have thought about making this change in the future.
Multiplayer There will be a change in the multiplayer, the game KeepUp Survival was usually only developed as singleplayer and on demand more and more expanded to multiplayer.
In the future I will turn the multiplayer into a DLC, with this I want to make the users more aware that the multiplayer needs more work and can still contain bugs.
This also allows me to get the main game out of the EA process faster. The EA process always has a lot of advantages for developers because you can always change a lot of things without getting in trouble later. The game will continue to be developed after the EA process.

Fixes - Other problems fixed
- Readjusted building parts / wooden fence short and long with glass due to a gap between the ground and the fence.
- The missing lighter has been added and can now be found in Lootboxes.
- The mutant bear was able to walk through the wooden spikes, this is now fixed. But it is possible for the mutant bear to get over this barrier. But it takes damage like any other animal from these spikes.
- Wild boars could run through parts of buildings, this is now fixed.
