Less than 10 days to the Finale!

The 29th of November the full game will be released and everybody will start from level 1 !
Here are some of the latest changes that can currently be tried out on the test servers.

Features
* The 8 new animal monsters have been distributed to the world, each of them drop a unique pet.
* 3 new normal quests added, this means that all normal quests are now complete.
* The Castle of no Return quest has been completed.
* Added the final new body color.


Improvements
* Self casting a spell will always deselect it afterwards.
* Walking into another player for 3sec in a safe zone area will let you pass through the player. To prevent blocking abuse and bad behaviour.
* Changed i5 entrance to boss "Joro." that previously required level 100 to 75.
* Max pet attacks before it gets exhausted and requires a map transition changed from 500 attacks to 600 attacks.
* Minimap is not visible when on the guildmap.
* Some walking NPCs has gotten new names.
* Boss events now have a level range to enter them for each island. More info in the flag menu in game. To prevent high level clearing the low level areas.
* Buffed some of the global exp event potions (all players share the boost) from the steam payment shop without increasing the cost.

Fixes
* Fixed weekend events text info.
* Fixed a quest that was marked wrongly (obelix/finale).
* Fixed so you can not attack a friendly NPC when standing directly on top of him.
* Fixed some crafting requirements.
* Fixed some texts stuttering left and right.
* Fixed spectator attack issue.
* Fixed some texts on steam payments that did not show up.
* Fixed Laernan quest so it says the correct name.
* Fixed multiple death issue.

Final Release: 29th of November 2024!

On the 29th of November 2024 the game will leave Early Access on Steam and become an officially finished and release game. Everybody will start from level 1! But, there will be more updates coming of course. But this will be the time to join and experience the first full official launch with no future wipe.

All current characters that exist will be transferred to a Legacy server, where you can still enjoy them. But they can not participate on the new servers.

Until this release, the servers will be offline, but a new update will be coming to the game that will show the countdown to launch.

Highlights
* Two new servers have been set up for a new Realm, which will be the official one. These new servers start fresh, with everyone beginning at level 1. A Legacy Realm has also been established, meaning all old/current characters will exist there. You can enjoy your old character(s) on the Legacy server or join the adventures on the new official servers.
* Guild Houses added: You can purchase one guild house if you are in a guild. The guild house is then accessible to all your guild members. The guild house can be leveled up by completing tasks from within it. This is shared progression for the entire guild. When the guild house levels up, it can receive new graphics (as it builds up) or offer new features, such as special buffs, shops, chests, etc. All guild houses will also link to a guild PvP map, allowing guilds to enter combat against other guilds from their own safe guild map. Other guilds cannot enter your guild map. The current max level for the guild house is 20.
* A new visual map overview system has been added. It tracks which maps you have visited, how many maps you have found in the game, and provides a percentage of total discovery. You can also write a note for each map to better keep track of them. It also shows which map you are currently on and what you have left to discover.
* All server now support endless reborn (seraph). It's optional and if done it means you start back on level 1 but with more stat and skill points each time. After each reborn the next reborn requires +10 levels.


Features
* A 'Boss Event' system has been added. All islands has their own map for the event with an entrance from each town to it. Which bosses that spawns are random so each event will be unique. The event duration is random, but around 45-60min. Entering for example the event on island 4, does not mean that you can not enter it on island 3 as well. The event is scheduled to run randomly with a frequency that should result in about 1 event per server every 5 days. The event is server specific, so it can happen on different servers at different times. It can also be started by the admin. When all bosses are killed on an islands event a reward is granted to the players on the map. Be carefull entering the island 5 event alone!
* Island 5 has been restructured to be more linear, similar to the other islands. For example, you now need to traverse the forest on the left side before reaching the bridge that leads towards the ocean.
* New maps have been added to the continuation of island 5 and 6.
* A new "Skill Level" system has been implemented that boosts all skills. It is currently leveled up by obtaining rare loot in chests (other methods of obtaining it may be introduced in the future). This aims to make chests more interesting and motivate players to explore more. More information can be found in the flag menu in the game.
* Other players are now rendered in red and your party members in green on the minimap, making it easier to locate them.
* The random daily quest that previously required specific monsters or bosses to be killed has been changed to any monsters or any bosses instead, allowing all players, regardless of level, to complete the quests.
* Three new monster abilities have been added: Cloud, Shield, and Enrage. Cloud will spawn different types of "clouds" that cause continuous damage if you are within them. Shield will turn the monster a bluish color and provide extra defense for a period of time; the percentage of defense is shown when the monster casts it. Enrage (which should not be confused with an earlier disabled system) turns the monster red and increases its damage and movement speed for a period of time. If a monster is both enraged and shielded, it will turn green.
* Many new types of spells/abilities added for these types of characters: archer/warrior/assassin/paladin, for example: Exploding Arrows (arrow deal great aoe damage), Lightning Arrows (arrow deal lightning damage that hops), Arrow Stun (arrow stuns a large area upon hit), Earthshaker (warrior: stuns nearby monsters), Seismic Slam (warrior: big aoe damage that ripples), and more! All can be bought from different towns by vendors. These are all new attack effects that will help make the gameplay more engaging and fun. More info exist in the flag icon menu above the chat window.
* A new Discord channel called "Server-Events" has been added. Activity from the game will automatically be posted in that channel, including global and market chat, in-game events, player join events, deaths, level-ups (without specifying the new level), and more. Events from the Legacy server will not be posted.
* Two new raft upgrades have been added through crafting.
* The Adventurous quest has been continued with additional steps.
* More secret stashes have been added, offering small rewards and boosting your total quest points.
* Four new hairstyle choices have been added to the character creation menu.
* Two new player improvement crafts have been added.
* Many more in-game translations (localizations) have been added: Greek, Ukrainian, Indonesian, Polish, Thai, Vietnamese, Bulgarian, Russian, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish. This aims to attract more players.
* Winning either a Battle Royale match, or a match from the Match Making system will grant the winner some Gems. Just a little something to encourage players to fight more using those inbuilt systems.
* Most buff spells now have a duration of at least 10minutes.


Balancing
* Increased starting chest storage capacity from 20 to 30 since its now account based.
* Increased damage for star-level monsters and bosses.
* Changed max monster damage that can be done to a player. Previous max was 45% of your total health in damage, new max monster damage is 35% of your total health.
* Nerfed radicalheal from +2hp/point to +1hp/point.
* Lowered max skill ceiling for radical heal, allround, lootfinder and goldfinder to 30.
* Lowered chance for monsters to cast dispel from 1 in 200 to 1 in 300.
* Taunt stamina requirement changed from 7 to 9.
* Rebalanced items that gave too much skill points.
* Increased gold gain from colosseums.
* Lowered chance for +0 (unique) item drops from monsters, but increased chance from star monsters.
* Bosses has been rebalanced to offer better party play (drop rates, difficulty etc..).
* Raids have been turned more party oriented requiring at least 1 room to be fully cleared of monsters before proceeding.
* Added a new system to help low endurance character builds. Reduces monster damage by a percentage based on the difference between damage and AC for up to 25% reduction. So if you have 5AC and monster has 100 damage, you previously took 95 damage. Now in that scenario you would take 71 damage.
* Adjusted some crafts such as boosting the craftable mining axe and fishing rod.
* Rebalanced monster experience on all islands, it has been increased a little on areas that are under utilized.
* The automatic "Friday/Saturday/Sunday" events have been boosted from "15% Exp/15% Gold/+3 Gatherer skill" to "25% Exp/25% Gold/+5Gatherer skill".
* Bombs dropped by monsters previously did "monsterDmg*0.8" in damage, now they deal "monsterDmg*1.5", so a big increase in damage output.
* Splash skill has been changed from dealing 65% of your damage to nearby enemies to 50% of your damage. It now allows the player to put 15 points into it instead of 10 points and the max boosted cap has been changed from 40 to 35. Now there are new abilities for warriors to learn that stuns and splashes so the skill splash required some small adjustment.
* Max boosted values for poison has been changed from 40 to 30 and chance of proc has been changed from 2% to 1.5% per point.
* Buff-spells requirements and duration rebalanced. Focusing on allowing all characters to get some buff spells if they are interesting in investing some points into wisdom/intelligence.
* Melee weapons (swords) and ranged weapons (bows) are evenly balanced. They now require the same amount of total statpoints and both deal the same weapon damage for each tier. Archer can attack from afar and warrior gets slightly more damage per stat points in strength.
* Mana potions have been heavly buffed so they give you much more mana. For example the first mana potion has been changed from 20 to 50 mana per potion. So at least 100% increase on all mana potions.
* When using a mana potion, you mana regeneration will increase by +5 mana regen for 5 minutes. Using another mana potion before the previous time has elapsed will simply reset it to 5 minutes again. This effect is the same for any mana potion used. Even a critical mana potion will give the same boost.
* Stamina potions have been buffed so that they give you more stamina.
* Rebalanced 5 different skills so their requirements are not below the starting stats in the game and more proper.
* Max skill points that can be put into parry has been changed from 25 to 20. But Radicalheal can now proc at the same time as a parry.

Fixes
* A major rework has been done of graphic textures to fix crashes on certain old and new computers with specific graphic configurations.
* Fixed if monster exist on map and Pet Kill the last monster with pet attack the blocking boxes would not disappear.
* Fixed so the Aura skill now displays the proper info for it.
* Fixed issue where counterattack skill could not be disabled.
* Fixed so the single target spell area turns black if the cast path is not valid.
* Fixed issue where the bonus damage/percentage damage/percentage defence was always active on your character as long as you had an item that gave those boosts in your inventory. They will now only be applied to your character if the item is equipped or if it's on a charm.
* Fixed so raft now renders in the correct direction.
* Fixed newly introduced issues from last update: OnScreen chat, Spell info text and Player/Pet name moving while walking.
* Fixed the bonus text in the inventory from changing color if you previously hovered a unique item.
* Fixed so that main menu music stays disabled if the mute button was pressed.
* Fixed issue where the previous monster damage ceiling should have been 45%, but that code had an issue so the system was not active before.
* Fixed spellbar positioning issue that could result it not aligned at the bottom middle.
* Fixed so trees are fully displayed when walking west direction and the tree leaves the map.
* Fixed account login issue, rewritten to prevent the same account from being able to be logged in on different servers at the same time.
* Fixed a text label that overlapped all tabs on the payment menu.
* Fixed movement speed issue on older machines.
* Fixed speelcooldown sometimes showing 1 second left on timer, but it was actually finished and ready to be cast.
* Fixed so trueshot skill can no longer proc if there is a blocked tile between you and the monster. To prevent players from using it through walls.
* Fixed all crafting receips from being broken (caused by the previous update).


Improvements/Other
* Monsters killed are now account based. So if you make a new 2nd character, your monster killed list will still be populated.
* Player improvement crafts are now account based. So if you craft all the improvements on 1 character, all your other characters (new or old) can craft the same improvements for free.
* Information text that was previously rendered on the screen directly. Is now replaced with a "?" symbol so that you can hover to read it instead.
* Your storage chest is now shared between all the characters on your account.
* Your information about Pets found is now shared across your account.
* After traveling to castle of no return one time, you no longer need to enter the combination again.
* After entering the long secret code on island 5, you no longer need to enter that combination again.
* Swords and other weapon graphics have been made larger and improved.
* It now says how many slots from your storage chest you have, ie: 6/30.
* Now showing item and monster graphics on the in game data list.
* Added more useful random conversations to the NPCs in the fifth town.
* The new monster abilities have been provided to bosses across the world.
* Colosseum bosses can wield the 3 new monster abilities.
* A new background image added for the login screen.
* No longer showing total created characters on server selection page.
* Can now fish all around island 4 town.
* Increased sight when rendering trees when walking up and down so they appear dissapear more clearly.
* The ingame Data list on the flag menu has much more info added to the "Formulas tab".
* The website now has a new top list for the new Realm, as well as a toplist for the Legacy server: https://www.key2heaven.com

* Removed so items don't get cheaper over time in the player market.
* Now showing a youtube video icon that brings you to a tutorial video from: character selection menu, ingame options->help page and the escape menu. It has also been added as a question for new players if they wish to see it.
* New graphics added.
* Speedrun toplist has been reset on the legacy server.
* Now offers a FREE full stat and skill reset for your character(s) on the legacy server. Talk to the NPC near the starting temple! Available for new and old players. Players who previously had a unused reset available now has 1 extra reset.
* Localizations have been updated.
* New maps and map changes.
* Lost Island now requires x1 seraph instead of x2 seraph.
* The formulas tab is renamed to "Game Info".
* Replaced the Facebook icon on the login page with a YouTube icon.
* New setting added to the options menu to opt in or out from discord activity. The setting is saved per account.

* Improved error handling upon start up.
* More monsters have been added.
* Language list is now sorted alphabetically.
* Lowered the transparency for casted spells so that they are more visible and clear.
* New items and spells added.
* The monster below i1 temple called "Check Damage", now has 500hp instead of 150hp. So you can easier check your damage output.
* Removed the 'stat information' for characters on the 'create new character' screen and replaced it with an image for the new tutorial. (Since now all characters starts with 10 in all stats, previously you could distribute them).
* Endless seraphing is implemented on all servers and that includes the legacy server.
* There was previously two different reborn menus. Now we utilize the same window regardless if you reborn from i4 or i5. With some new info on it since its now endless seraphs.
* Improved the backup randomizer for the game.
* Some data for the legacy server is currently missing due to the change of many things being account based. But the data still exist, so a future update may bring it back.


Performance
* Optimized networking performance for both client and server.
* Implemented a safeguard incase client receives corrupt packets that should help prevent you from being disconnected.
* Optimized layout rendering.
* Optimized map transitions for the player.
* Improved database query speed.
* Optimized spellbar menu while its rendering its cooldown (to lower cpu usage).
* Optimized graphical memory usage over time.
* The servers now have dynamic dns to avoid IP issues.

Start Fresh at Level 1 in 2D MMORPG!

The servers starts fresh and everybody will begin on Level 1. Do you like a fresh start in a game? If so, grab the game and be ready for the new launch.

Two new servers will be set up for a new Realm, which will be the official one. These new servers start fresh, with everyone beginning at level 1. A Legacy Realm has also been established, meaning all old/current characters will exist there. You can enjoy your old character(s) on the Legacy server or join the adventures on the new official servers. New servers have a max reborn rate of x1.

Full Server Wipe! Compete from Level 1!

Excited for a fresh start where everyone begins with new characters at level 1 and battles for the top spot? The time is near. A release date will be announced soon, giving you time to prepare. All current characters will move to a Legacy Realm, and accounts from this Legacy Realm will not be transferable to the new Official Realm. This isn’t the final release; the new Realm (server) will eventually be wiped, likely in 2025. However, your progress will be saved on a permanent leaderboard on the website, highlighting founding players. Aim high to secure your place! The new release brings tons of content, features, team play, and more. Stay tuned for the release date. Servers will be down for 1 week before the launch.





Dev Log #26: Homecoming!

We are back and the work will continue more quickly moving forward!

Highlights
* Heavily improved rendering of graphics!
* A new spell is added: Homecoming. New players has it in their spellmenu by default. The spell will teleport you home to your spawnpoint with a cooldown of 30minutes. Old players will have to buy it in the shop area of island 1, in the town.


Improvements
* Now says the boss name as well when it shows how long time its left to spawn a boss on the map ypur are on.
* You can now search for player names in the open market.
* Maintenance reboot alert message will now appear for 300sec instead of 30sec.
* Pet eggs now move when walking.
* Start game loading time reduced.
* Text rendering improved.
* Music handler optimized to reduce lag.
* Graphics sharpness improved.
* Graphics rendering improved.

Balancing
* Some lategame monster balancing (more gold etc..).
* Swapping a server now gives you 75% of the exp instead of 50% for 15minutes.

Fixes
* Fixed text info on craft reset all stats and skill points.
* Fixed so it says the right exp boost on the party page, changed from 50% to 110% boost on the page.
* Implemented a potential fix for spell buffs dissapearing.

Make sure you try the Battle Royale game "inside the game", RPG style! Bring a friend or two and fight for the leaderboards! It does not require any leveling even though its inside a RPG, everybody starts with the same abilities. (This was included 2 dev logs ago!)

Dev Log #25: New content and FIGHT!

So much is happening in the game right now. Make sure to join the discord channel for all the info and help from the community: K2H Discord Channel

Highlights:
* When entering a boss area, and the boss has already been killed. You will be notified how long time is left until it spawns.
* Party exp has been increased to 110% from 50%. It is very beneficial to play with friends since you all gain more exp the more players you are.
Consider these scenarios where you attack a monster that gives 1000 EXP per hit:
1 player (no party): You get 1000 EXP.
2 players (in party): Each player gets 1050 EXP.
3 players (in party): Each player gets 1067 EXP.
4 players (in party): Each player gets 1075 EXP.
So each extra player adds a 10% extra from the monster EXP that the players share on each attack.
* Added the first quest for Island 6. Quests on Island 6 will not be included in the questbook.
* New maps, items and monsters added.


Improvements:
* You can now Reset all Stat and Skill points from the crafting menu. It's expensive.
* The summoning bosses north of island 5 town has been changed. The requirements are heavily reduced and the EXP gain is heavily increased. The hardest boss now gives 20M EXP.
* The max cap for all skills are now 3 times their normal max value with a maximum of 50. So if the skill allows 15 points in it, it then caps out at 45 with boosted points. When capped out, it will display in green text on the skill menu. You might think this is a nerf but it is extremely close to the previous hidden caps to prevent stuff from reaching 100% proc rate.
* Identifying an item now costs your level in gold. Was previously always 25gold.
* Colloseums can no longer spawn invisible monsters.
* There are now more cedar trees on island 5.
* In PvP, if the attacker is 20lvls higher than you, the attacker will deal 85% of its damage. If the attacker is 40lvls higher, the attackers damage becomes 70%.
* Rebalanced some bosses to spawn more frequent. A simple way of explaining the change is divide 'spawn time, max health and exp give' by 2, but with some variation. This results in the monster keeping the exp give per hit, but dies quicker but you can in return kill it again quicker.
* Optimized rendering of graphics a lot.
* Added a !clear command that clears all the chats. Type !help in the chat for more info.
* Increased server security.
* Added support for more monsters into the game, since we have now reached more than 250 different monsters.


Balancing:
* A player can no longer deal more than 50% of the opponents max hp in damage in PVP. So if the player you PVP has 500 MaxHP, then you can maximum do 250damage per attack.
* A new taunt spell has been added with longer range.
* Warrior leap spells have been buffed (there are two of them).
* Warrior Formation and Berserk spell has been slightly buffed.
* Splash now procs 2% of the time instead of 4.
* If a mage casts a spell that lands on multiple players. Then the first player will receive the full damage, and the other players in the target area will receive 25% of the damage.
* Slightly lowered wis/int dmg on some items.
* Bless spells now give more HP. Before they gav 1 HP per 6 Wisdom, now they give 1 HP per 3 Wisdom.
* Monsters now have 50% less chance to entangle.
* Monsters, items and spells have been slightly rebalanced.
* Trueshot has been buffed.
* It's now harder to get a unique item (with random boosted stats) when purchasing an item from a shop. To help prevent abuse.

Fixes:
* Fixed an issue related to targeting that could cause lag.
* Fixed blocked box griefing. Can no longer reset them by changing room.
* Fixed some monsters not showing as bosses.
* Fixed Impending morningstar attack speed and other stats.
* Fixed bonus stats displaying correct in the inventory stats tab.
* Fixed pet survival text in crafting menu.
* Fixed so charm droprate is actually what it said in the ingame data list. It was supposed to be "7 in 2m chance", but it was "7 in 2.5m chance" for drop. Meaning it's now easier to find charms.
* Overall bug fixes seen from the log files.
* Fixed issue with certain spells not displaying it's cooldown.
* Some map fixes.

Dev Log 24: New Content & New Stat Reset!

New content:
* You can now reset your characters 2 times in total. So if you have reset it 1 time before, you have 1 reset left.
* The start of Island 6 has received new maps, monsters and item drops.
* A new more group oriented area has been added.


Changes:
* Right Clicking an active spell on the right side will show the boosts.
* Some items has been slightly changed.
* Increased the chance to do a standard crit damage (not skill based) for the damage range you have.
* Added a new way to exit matchmaking area.
* Bonus damage from items are included in the damage shown on the stats screen.
* Strength requirement on shields are removed.
* Staffs have been added to more shops and more drops.

Fixes:
* Fixed so items requiring attributes actually require them.
* Fixed an issue with the upgrade item handler so that upgrading do not turn your item into a unidentified one.
* Fixed issue with spells replacing eachother.
* Fixed so i5 requires level 65, not 70.
* Fixed so island 4 says the real requirements to enter it.

The update will be released on July 28!


The game will be updated before that, when that is done you will see a countdown timer on the server selection page so that you can be ready when it goes live. I will shortly put all the servers into admin mode, at that time you will not be able to play until the countdown finishes.

Highlights:

  • New Content: Lots of new late-game areas added and new maps on all islands.
  • Stat Reset: There is a new NPC, on the starting map, that offers a one-time full stat+skill reset for all characters.
  • New Equipment Slot: A 2nd Ring Slot. You can now use 2 rings but they can not be the same.
  • Unidentified Items: Items you get with random bonus stats will now be unidentified by default. A new NPC is added to all towns where you can now identify an item for 25gold. The name of the new NPC is 'Lore Seeker Lenny'.
  • New Item Qualities: Common, Fine, Rare and Epic. The better quality the better and more boosts it has. Different item qualities will display different colored backgrounds in the inventory and the item bonus text.
  • Skinable items: There is a new NPC in each town that will allow you to skin your items. The cost will consist of either/and/or gold, emeralds, tokens, gems. The purpose is to allow for more late game customizations for your character, There is also another thing to consider. There are for example currently offhand items that do not have any visual graphics on your character. Such as quivers, scepters, orbs and so on. And those will now also be skinable!
  • 60+ New Items: The current 10 different armor sets have now received an extra version of each called Prime. So for example you can find 'Leather Leggings Prime'. The prime gear will give extra bonuses while the normal set will just be basic. All prime gear is found from monster drops. 5 new weapons: A new weapon set has been added for all classes between Primordial and Impending.
  • 30+ New Spells: Includes new spell types, icons and spell animations.
  • Weather Effects: Rain, Snow, Fog, Thunder, Sandstorm, Hail.
  • Monster Diversity: Monsters now have the ability to shoot arrows and drop bombs on the ground which you will want to avoid.
  • Communication: The global chat will post the chat message across all servers, so if you are on EU and write in global, players on the US server will see it.
  • New Players: All new characters start the game on x1 Seraph. There are currently 3 (optional) seraphs to be done, on each seraph you start back on level 1 but with more stat and skill points.



Balancing / New Content:

  • All new created players starts with 10 stat points in each stat. You get 5stat points per level. Each seraph provides an additional 5 points in each stat.
  • You can now hide behind blocked objects such as walls etc to avoid ranged enemies from attacking you. They will not see you so you can regroup and replan your next attack.
  • Seraph x1 requires level 60, each seraph after that requires +10 levels.
  • New tile type called a Box. Can be placed on a map and when all monsters on the map is killed, the boxes will dissapear to allow passage to other areas. The boxes can also be removed by walking on a switch tile. These two different systems with map boxes is now used as small puzzles across the world.
  • New maps and shops added to all islands.
  • All item requirements have been increased by the same percentage as the difference between 3 stat points per level and 5 stat points.
  • All resources hit decreased to 1, except for trees that are 3 hits. And fishing that is 75% chance to catch each time.
  • Right clicking a player will show a menu, so that you can quickly invite another player to a party, guild etc.
  • Can no longer cast spells through blocked objects such as walls and trees.
  • Normal movement speed has been increased by 9%.
  • Tons of items have been changed so that they focus on for example 1 skill. So that you can more choose what you prefer, instead of having marginal overall gains.
  • Running has been removed, but normal walking speed is as mentioned above 9% faster. Using the running key now will instead imitate an attack animation.
  • The skill Splash AOE effect is now set to 1 tile around the player.
  • Arrows travel 15% faster.
  • 4 new trap types added (all with new graphics), for example huge fire, fast spinning trap, larger area traps etc..
  • New chest type added for island 6.
  • Spells Buffs can now be stacked, meaning you can have multiple spells that give you AC, as long as its a different spell providing it.
  • Spells can now give skill points.
  • Spells can now give multiple buffs, meaning a spell can give both HP and Damage for example.
  • Spells can now have a cooldown, meaning you can only cast it 1 time every X seconds.
  • Spell window now displays the hotkey of the spell and the current cooldown countdown.
  • Spell target area Chess has been replaced with AOE and/or Cross.
  • All wall spells now hits 3 times instead of 2 times.
  • All mage leggings has now been converted to gear for all players that instead require endurance and some wisdom. This is to further make it so that mages put points into endurance to get proper armor gears and so that paladins can easier utilize these leggings as well.
  • All belts now require endurance.
  • Sneak converted to a new skill called Aura.
  • Lifesteal rebalanced to: REQ: 15 Strength. You have a 11% chance to lifesteal and you get +0.5% (spells get half of that) of your max health per point spent. Enemies hit by the skill splash has 5% chance to lifesteal. Minimum amount of lifesteal is 2.
  • Allround skill has been slightly rebalanced.
  • Daily rewards have been boosted.
  • Monster spawn times have overall been lowered.
  • Monsters will no longer attack you if you can not see them. Meaning they will only attack you if they are visible on your screen.
  • Many new monster graphics has been added.
  • All chests have been given good rare loot.
  • New environment graphics added.
  • Maps have received new puzzles based on the new box system and weather effects.
  • Minimum pvp damage formula has been tweaked to provide more base damage.
  • Resources for crafting has been changed.
  • The skill untwine has been buffed and now gives +0.2AC/point.
  • New character screen no longer allows you to distribute your starting stats. All characters starts with 10 in each stat.
  • Gathering resources now requires 2 stamina each hit.
  • Rare item drops (with random boosts) can now give Bonus Damage (which boost dmg for all attacks), Damage Reduction (total damage taken is reduced by a percentage) and damage increase in percentage.
  • Increased chance for rare items to appear from monster drops.
  • Rare items can now give an extra bonus stat. Also increased chance to give skills on items and can no longer give any of the resource gathering skills on items.
  • Star Monsters have been given a lot more EXP.
  • Star monsters have increased chance to drop emeralds. It's now 30% extra chance per star instead of 10% per star.
  • A monsters max damage has been rebalanced to 45% of the players max hp. So if the player has 200 Max Health. Then a monster can not do more than 90 pure damage each attack.
  • Damage from star monsters has been slightly lowered to make them even more attractive.
  • The last two armors can now only be bought on island 5.
  • Some rebalancing of monster density in island 1-3.
  • Monsters drop all new Prime items.
  • Minimum damage on monsters rebalanced.
  • You can now pay for the clues to enter i5 town castle.
  • Spells and items heavily rebalanced.
  • Pet exp increased so it's much more rewarding for the player.
  • Rings, amulets and belts have been rebalanced and given more requirements.
  • The amount of attacks a pet can do on a map before getting exhausted is doubled from 250 to 500.
  • Monster spawns have been changed on tons of areas.



Fixes:

  • Fixed so firewall spells and all other spells render properly and does not move when the player moves.
  • Fixed issue of the target area showing the wrong target colors for the object it hovered.
  • Fixed an issue with having too much experience.
  • Fixed an issue where player graphics on the left side of the screen floated to the right when on the edge.
  • Fixed an issue that could result in server list not working.
  • Fixed so spells render the proper time they was supposed to.
  • Fixed an issue with very quick map swapping.
  • Fixed entangle issue.
  • Fixed an issue related to npc's that can spawn other npcs.
  • Fixed an issue with arrows.



New Stuff / Improvements / Other:

  • THE REAPER: A new very hard/impossible boss has been added.
  • Added support for Chinese translations in the game.
  • The whos online list will now show players from the other servers as well, and show what server they play on.
  • New mouse target area graphics.
  • Target area now has an opacity effect.
  • Servers will be removed from the server list after 4 days of inactivity.
  • Graphics improved.
  • Ingame data list updated with new resource information.
  • Bosses will now have a red star rendered on them if they are a boss, just like star monsters have 1-3 yellow stars on them.
  • All battle notifications are scrolled up much more fluently.
  • The new eternal item set can be purchased on island 5.
  • Makes the monster darker when you hover above it with the mouse to indicate targeting.
  • The casting aim cursor will turn gray if the casting is out of range or if a blocked tile is found in the path.
  • Monsters within the spell cursor aim will fade to slightly darker to indicate they are within the target area.
  • You can hover the buttons above the chat and it will show what the button is for.
  • Buffed spells on a player will persist when logging out and retain it's duration when logging back in.
  • Online player count is no longer shown for each server.
  • Now showing if players are online on a server instead of the count.

  • You can now right click active buffs to see the name of the buff.
  • Spell animations will grow larger by each level.
  • A new spell type has been added. This spell type removes all aggro you have on yourself.

  • You can now double tap a hotkey and cast the spell on yourself.

  • Data list now shows what maps each spell is sold on.

  • Holding shift will perform an attack animation while walking. It wont do any damage. Its just for having fun.

  • A message will be shown if you are level 1 and use the shift button telling you that the real attack button is CTRL or left Mouse Button.
  • Maps can now control the spawn time of monsters. So the same monsters on different maps can have different spawn times. This will not be shown in monster spawn time. So it is something that will be noticed and utilized to make certain maps packed with monsters but with longer spawn times.
  • All maps have been converted to handle the new resource system.
  • Better information about gathering provided to player when trying to gather and has lack of skill points.
  • A new sound effect has been added each time a ring or amulet drops from a monster.
  • Improved feedback from buttons in the inventory tabs.
  • Spells casted by monsters will be rendered in a much more redish color to distinguise them from player spells.
  • The datalist showing all the items have been heavily improved.

  • Items in the player market older than 30days will be discounted by 75%. So an item costing 1000gold will be 250gold.

DevLog #22: Soon released! Get ready!

Hiya, BIG NEWS in a two part message!

1) Shortly after June 19, the place we host the EU server at will shut down it's operations. Meaning we will need to re-host it someplace else. This means that the new update will be released before that. We just got the information and wanted to inform you all as soon as possible.

2) The new update is huge and we will be advertising it. So we hope you join in on the launch day!
* Free stat reset is included for all characters!
* Tons of new spells, new maps, new monster mechanics etc...
* Pretty much the whole game is rebalanced starting with 5 statpoints per level..
* Rare items are "Unidentified" so you are required to Identify those items. With more unique possible stats.
* And just so much more.... full list will be shared upon release.

Patch for Dev Log #21

Improved player hosted servers:
* You can now easily set new settings for gold rate, loot rate and gather rate.
* You can mark your server as under development so that you can prepare for a server launch.
* Added more information to the installation guide that covers how to patch a server, how to backup and restore the database.
* Added much more scripting information so that you can change the game more.



There are also UI changes to the server selection list. If you need any help with setting up a server, just reach out in the community and I will personally help you out.
