UPDATE FOR KILLER QUEEN BLACK The Liquid Bit Team went live with a patch on all five platforms this morning. Throne Room 1.67 is a follow-up patch to August 2021’s Throne Room 1.66 release.

Reverted hitbox issue from 1.66.
Updated Queen colliders for dash and dive actions.
Fixed accessibility feature (auto flap) not working well under high latency.
Fixed for text not displayed correctly on the post-match stats screen.

Killer Queen Black’s latest release is LIVE!
The Throne Room 1.66 includes a new map, a new character, and other in-game enhancements.
Here’s what happened:
New character: ABS - our favorite friend from the Killer Queen Universe joins Black!
New map: The Throne Room - our first interior map ever!
Updates to UI input functionality
Fixed post-match graph results
Fixed main menu UI issues
Added the ability to cancel custom matches
You can now hold the button to flap
Reworked binding of dive controls
Updates to sprite sorting in-game

A few changes have taken place over the last 6 months.
We pushed 1.65 in March, which included in-game audio updates and a slew of fixes.
We welcomed Xbox and Stadia players in February and will be welcoming Luna gamers June 10, 2021.

The Liquid Bit team is still ecstatic over our localization efforts. This exciting update was no small feat, we now offer localization in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean for Steam players!

Early Spring Killer Queen Black Updates
The Liquid Bit team is on track to satisfy our Q1 Roadmap and meet our Q2 goals! Thanks for your support and reports.
Adam & Brice, Liquid Bit Devs, wanted to share a few notes on this week's deployed updates and what's up for the rest of the month:
We reworked the control binding system to make it more clear and accessible.
We’ve toned down the particles for kills to make things more performance-friendly.
Fixed the bug that caused gold AI to spawn blue and lead to all sorts of funkiness. This also could lead to servers not shutting down and potentially spiking the CPU, which could impact other game sessions' performance. Deployed on 4/5/2021
Adjustments were made to mmr distribution for players. Queen allocation slightly decreased and a more balanced distribution among team for gains/losses. Not deployed just yet.
Addressed, and continuing to look into, some of the bugs found during the NEW MAP playtest!
That's right, there's a new map around the corner - are you interested in playtesting? It's a Steam exclusive playtest and we'd love to have you in the mix!

Killer Queen Black is now localized in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese & Korean on Steam. This exciting update was no small feat and is just the beginning of localization efforts for KQB. Currently, LIVE, along with a couple of other updates for our PC player base.

Berry physics issues in local play are fixed; online play was fixed previously.

Updates are here! The Liquid Bit team launched the 1.65 Release for Killer Queen Black on Friday, March 5, 2021. Here are the patch notes:
Fixes & updates list:
New in-game music
Player name sanitizer has been scolded and promises to try and be more forgiving
Players now auto-spawn when joining a match late
Fixed an issue with players dropping in Meet Thy Family, did not display the correct UI
Network Next is re-enabled
Fixed an issue with league headers on the leaderboards getting into a weird state
Xbox players can now receive invites and join games in a match (this includes ranked, so be careful not to incur punishment in doing so)
Dive has been assigned to the down button by default
Better memory management in gameplay to reduce frame stutter
Helmets have been added back to the tutorial warriors
While carrying a shield, thrown berries now have the same trajectory as when not carrying a shield
Fixed an issue where the Queen would show snail stats
Added win conditions to the map panel in post-match
Dancing is re-enabled on post-match
Fixed an issue with berry stats on post-match not reflecting thrown and deposited berries correctly
Queen deaths on post-match now display the correct color of the Queen that died in the graphs
Gate control statistic has been updated, no longer takes into account neutral gates
Switch players will no longer get stranded on post-match if their non-switch teammates advance

PC and Switch players are getting a head start on the rank reset with the release of 1.64 today. The patch, originally planned to go live alongside the Xbox Game Pass launch, was dropped ahead of schedule at 10am CST 2/1/21.
