Another patch!

-Fixed Memory Leak that would result in crashes!
-As a result memory usage has been decreased significantly
-Performance optimization expect a much less decrease in FPS when huge amount of units and battles are taking place!
-Some slight networking optimization
-Added new skin system!


The skins are at this point not avalaible to players since there's not a way yet to unlock them. However we want to point out that skins at this point or any in the future will only be avalaible for in-game currency! You will never be able to obtain skins with real money even if you want to.

However at the same time skins won't be easy to obtain since we want them to be rare, meaning only the most dedicated players will be able to eventually obtain them.

New patch

So in this patch we've got quite some fixes for you guys!

-Reworked unit movement and combat
It should now be a lot more smooth and responsive, right click now overwrites commands, units follow their target if they go out of range etc.
-Fixed a UI bug that would occur if tabbing out
-Borders now won't be switched on and off typing in the chat
-Networking optimization
-Some slight optimization of the enemy locator

Due to some very clever workaround by our programmer Zonticore we have managed to not only rework unit movement so it's more responsive and intelligent, but at the same time it has increased the performance!

-Reworked Unit movement (More responsive, will go directly for enemies)
-Increase performance
-Fixed a bug that when units lost their target it would kill the FPS
-Added toggable borders for the Europe map (Done by pressing "B")
-Added hotkeys overview to the options menu in Europe
-Optimized Networking

Lowered price!

Hey guys the base price has now been reduced greatly! So bring your friends ^^

Major Update!

I think we can all agree we like bugs getting fixed as well as new content so why not have both!

-New tutorial level added for new players
-New map "Battle for London"
-New army added
-Added an in-game notification about our discord
-Added Refresh, Previous and Next to the server list
-Fixed banner spawns being in correct formation
-Fixed units on ships will now die at the same time the boat destroys
-Fixed Towers not always doing correct damage
-Increased HP of boats
-Fixed unit projector on bridges
-Fixed a bug that spamming unload on ships could overload the game

And of course lots of minor things :)

New patch out!

So these last weeks we've been working hard to shape the game up, which has resulted in quite a few improvement and bugfixes:

-Increased Performance (Expect a FPS increase around 50-75%)
-Fixed untargetable towers bug
-Fixed ships could move through the border
-Fixed ships could unload units in the water
-Fixed unit animations so they should always play their death animation properly
-Optimized syncronization for units so there should be no more immortal ones
-Fixed towers not always shooting
-Fixed timer syncing better
-Units now will lock their targets and not move before it's dead unless ordered too
-Made text in menu stand more out
-Fixed normal mapping on Units between animations
-Made loading units to boats easier and more smooth
-Some networking optimization

Current status

So we've released early access and granted it wasn't the smoothest release, games already started showed up in the lobby making players think they're unable to play! That is totally our fault and it has been fixed now!

Another thing is the current low player number and multiplayer only isn't the greatest mix, which i think we can all agree upon! Due to this we've decided to add bots/ai for people to play against. However we will first work on them when all the current bugs/optimizations/improvements has been made :)

Regarding the pricing the base price was probably set too high given the games current state, therefor we will be reducing it to around the same as it is now with the launch discount.

At last i want to point this out very importantly!
- Game is in Alpha and you should only buy it at this point if you want to support the further development of the game! We don't want unhappy customers, and if you're in doubt wether to buy now or wait we suggest you check back in a few months since that will be a much better first experience for you!

King of the World has now officially released as Early Access!

It seems it's taking a few minutes for the launch discount to get applied so wait buying it until it's there to not trick yourself ^^

Game will release as scheduled the 30th of June!

Hello all just a quick update :)

I'm very happy to announce that we're on track and the game is ready to be released the 30th, this with speciel thanks to our programmer Zonticore who's hard work has made this posible!

The exact time of the day we haven't completely specified but it will be with European and North American audiences in mind. So something like afternoon for EU and morning for NA will happen.
