I recently received several new bug reports and fixed them. Нyou can read detailed bugs report in the discussion section of the Kingsim Steam Storepage.
!!! Be careful - due to the engine / development limitations your previous save files will not work with updated version. Since this is a minor update, download this update of KingSim only if you don't care about your current save file !!!

KingSim Participates in Tiny Teams 2022 and small patch news!
Good day to you, fellow Kings and Queens!
I'm happy to announce that KingSim participates in Tiny Teams 2022, which means...
Discount. A BIG Discount is currently available for all upcoming leaders of their small 8-bit countries!
Patch. Bug fixing patch that should clear all of prevously discovered errors, glitches and game-stopping conditions.
Steams. There is a big likelihood that some of the twitch channels listed below will stream KingSim during the event! Check out if any of them are channels with your favourite streamers (or simply follow some of them if you want to see new cool videos, reactions and streams of cool people playing the game).
Tiny Teams Festival 2022 is there to praise the smallest independet developers there are (most of the games in the Festival were made by less than 5 people in a team; and some were created by a single person).
KingSim was mostly made by a family couple, outsourcing only the music and trailer creation.
The next game by Fuzzy Pixel Game Studio will be larger in scale, thus we will include an additional story-writer and a non-part-time musician in our team!
We're extremely proud to participate in Tiny Teams 2022 and will certainly try to make best original and interesting titles made by our tiny team! ːsteamhappyː
Politics rebalance and bug fixes update
Hello, fellow Kings and Queens!
In this update the following things changed:
Political relationship change check no longer occurs when clicking on select buttons (left, middle, right), but can still change every 15 seconds
Increased the amount of the initial relations changes with countries (depending on the player's choices before the appearance of politics)
The effects of active actions in Politics menu have been increased (gifting resources to other countries, attacking other countries and sabotage is now more effective). So now it is easier to influence other countries.
Increased the amount of army received by other countries every day from random(0.1) to random(0.2). Now countries will gradually become a bit stronger themselves to counteract player's growth.
Every day now not only the army of countries will change, but also their attitude towards the player - random (-3,3). Thus, everyday changes of the relationship became more impactful then the changes during each day.
In event №6 "Rapunzel" the difficulty of surviving from the Witch has been reduced.
And certain bugs were fixed:
Event with Rapunzel and the Witch. Previously, if you selected "do nothing" in the first question of an event, the wrong text was returned and the wrong decision variable was selected.
The wedding event used to be repeated several times if you choose a secret wedding, refuse to be wed and put the Shepherd of Etakan in prison.
When talking with the Necromancer after the execution of the Shepherd of Etakansky, some of the answer buttons were not active (could not press them).
Esteban's pillage of the population did not work correctly (did not lead to death, reducing faith to 0).
Missionary execution was not working correctly (didn't result in death, reducing faith to 0).

Trading Cards, Badges, Backgrounds and Improvements have arrived, sire!

You've waited for it - we gave it to ya'! New KingSim update is now live: with trading cards to collect, badges to craft, backgrounds to seize, emoticons and stickers to gather.
But that's not all! Come closer, come closer to hear the tale of this new update:
BUGS FIXED:
Overall around 50+ different small bugs and glitches are patched, My Lord. Some of the fixes are listed below...
Some of the achievements were bugged and harder to get than anticipated (thought all of the achievements in are are currently owned by at least 1 person). The glitches has been worked around and now all achievements should be unlockable by a persistent gamer.
Sometimes politics was buggy and all of the countries simalteneously hated the player. Now this should not happen (at least so often ːsteammockingː ).
Sometimes the players settings of sound volume and fullscreen mode saved during the last playthrough did not load on the game launch. Fixed.
Minor translation errors like giving Esteban the title of Baron would result in her getting the title of Duke.
IMPROVEMENTS:
All UI logic of the game was rebuilt from the scratch. And though it may not seem like a lot of things changed, now UI window's are updated only when they are interacted with (instead of some of their functions updating every frame). That increases FPS considerably and makes the UI work more consistantly.
Load Kingdom button was added to death screen. Now it's easier to continue your previous run (in case you thought it wasn't THAT bad).
New ending where the player can become the Necromancer himself added.
