-Fixed timing accuracy in races. In race the HUD timer will still show up to a hundredth of a second, while the ending time and overclock time will show the more accurate thousandth of a second clock time.
-Disabled interacting with things (Talk, Hyperlink, Webtoy) while vaporing -Disabled vaporing when you're supposed to be held back (in a webtoy, or talking to an NPC) -If you vapored then quick restarted the moment you landed you could pounce out of the start. Now you can't do that.

Gameplay -------- -Fixed Vapor state in Bossfights -Added a device you can use to switch LL back to night after beating the level. -No roll correct now has dampening so you don't keep spinning (actually feels really fun to play with it off) -Increased the angular dampening of cat physics when you ragdoll so you don't spin super fast. -Quick retry in races was keeping spin momentum, should reset you to 0 correctly now -Quick restarting while moving through Vapor state started the race wherever you landed. While cool, it would make every race need a setup step for speedruners which would get annoying, so I've patched it. -No more meowing or switching states in cutscenes -Disabled player movement/boosting in the fishing minigame in FAQ -Stopped Physics objects from colliding with hyperlink when hyperlinking (going to FAQ) -Hapi could sit on hyperlinks then travel while still sitting. Dialogue -------- -Typos -Post ??? Quest dialogue only plays once now -Fix Sonar and Display tutorial hint for keyboard. They showed as Q & E, but they're actually X & H. -Stop Anchor cutscenes in LL from triggering over and over if you keep talking to guild leaders.
Achievements -------- -Older saves with endless records, that were above 4, but didn't get the achievement (when it was 6) seem to be prevented from getting the achievement. Now they will be checked when you go back to the hub. -Keys achievement now requires you to collect 20 keys in the world, not counting the ones you get as a reward for collecting ION energy.

-In the intro section if you stay in slowmotion through an entire section while holding down the accelerate button, the slowmotion carrys through to the cutscenes. Now I kick players out of slowmo after a set time to prevent this.
-Fixed bug where if you get to the Gacha Shop before the intro music finishes, both songs would play
-Lowered the sky in Platform so you can't escape

Kitten Burst Releases January 20th 2024!
After almost 4 years of development, Kitten Burst is releasing in full on January 20th 2024. (around Noon EST).
Thank you to everyone who has supported the game through Early Access, and has followed along with development! The project became 1000% better with your feedback! The demo was based on a build from last year, so I though I should update it to the current build. This includes a ton of changes, bugfixes, and features in development for the full release of the game.

Part C: Development Update
Part C Development Update ---
Hey! It's been a while since Part B: launched in April so I wanted to give an update. I've been hard at work at finishing the last part of Kitten Burst and I'm gearing up for the full release of the game.
Originally when I launched Part A: in Early Access in September 2022, I estimated Part B and C to both take 6 months of development time. Part B actually took 8 months to develop. I'm currently halfway into development of Part C, which is looking like it will take 10 months.
My new expected release date of Kitten Burst is Jan 2024. I know delays are disappointing, but the game will be better if I take the time to finish it properly. I want to make sure I have plenty of time to Playtest, QA, and Balance the game before release.
Here's what I've been working on:
I've completely redesigned the opening race/cinematic of the game with a new environment, more cats to fly against, and a more intense race path.
I've also finished work on the largest level in the game. It's an MMORPG server called "The Lost Loch". Here you'll uncover the origins of the hacker group SHIVER!
This level has 2 new bossfights which I'll keep secret for now.
Here's what's left to work on (keeping it vague so no spoilers):
-A cinematic -The final level of the game -The final boss of the game -The ending sequence
