Hello everyone, this update is just a few fixes - largely for the computer thing that happens at the end.

Hello everyone, this is an update mostly to enable the Russian language as it has been worked on by community members recently - we've also had some corrections to the Simplified Chinese localization.

Hello everyone, it's been a while!
How are you all? I hope you're doing alright.
This past year, I've been working a lot on 'Shapez 2', which is now getting to an even more awesome state. But you might be more interested in hearing about 'Kiwi Game 2' - it's a buggy mess, but I'll tell you, it's shaping up to be hella fun - hopefully we can release it by the end of this year too!
NOW AVAILABLE IN CHINESE & JAPANESE
Thanks to the folks at The Most Games, the game can now be played in Chinese (Simplified) & Japanese!
We also have support for Chinese (Traditional) too, thanks to our community member Milly, who did that all on her own.
I hope all the new folks who discover Kiwi thanks to all the languages that are now supported will greatly enjoy it and have fun with the crazy little things it has going on.

KIWI GAME 2 - COMING SOON(ish)
The new game stars our beloved little kiwi buddies/workers/victims with completely new mechanics that open up way more possibilities for strategizing, planning, progressing & crazy surprises - let us soon feast upon this new endlessly incrementing journey!
After Kiwi Game 2, I would also like to go back to Kiwi 1 and rework the end-end-endgame mechanics so they're more engaging - starting at ending 1, but mostly for ending 3.
THE RULERS OF EVERYTHING - ENDINGS UPDATE + LOCALIZATION
Hello, hello - the ending(s) update is here!
This update contains the new endings + localization support + quality of life changes - I'll go over them below... but you might want to just play and see it!
NEW ENDINGS
There are two new endings in the game - I won't go over what happens or when. If you continue progressing, you will end up finding all of them - so don't worry about missing something!
PRESTIGE PRESTIGE
This update adds a new simple prestige at the very end of the game - just in case you want to play a bit further and see some huge gains!
LOCALIZATION SUPPORT
PT-BR LOCALIZATION + PARTIAL FRENCH & TURKISH SUPPORT
The game now supports supporting multiple languages!
I've translated it to PT-BR myself, and we also have the coolest community members working on other languages too!
For now, you can also select French or Turkish, which are 50%+ translated as well. If you'd like to help increase the amount of languages, just join our Discord and hop over to the translation corner!
QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES
Reworked the peeler & peel tooltips for improved readability & clarity
Spikies now remove your worst peel instead of the last one
Added a bonus multiplier counter to the carpentry king
Added a kurse gain indicator when feeding the alchemy king
If the player breaks maximum delivery speed, it is now converted into bag size
Improved multiple tooltips that were harder to read than the remainder
Improved penance instructions & they now appear more easily
Improved when the dark section shows up + added cryptic hints
Bonus kings from kards no longer devalue progression by increasing the king count
Offline bonuses & time skips now fill up Alchemy's potion cauldron's capacity
Reduced obstruction of essential info caused by king-clicking income

Since we last talked, I took a break, started a bit of work on a new kiwi game, had to move and then finally got back to making Kiwi Clicker content, and it's coming out close to the end of this month-
THE END(ING) IS NEAR
The update containing 5 new achievements + 2 new endings + 1 more prestige for the game will go live on the 24th of April, together with the biggest discount the game's had so far!

DO YOU SPEAKIWI MY LANGUAGE?
The new update also adds localization support - I've localized the game to Portuguese (PT-BR) myself, so that's coming too! Additional languages will require some help from the audience, otherwise I'd have to rely on robots to do the wordification.

Hello everyone - first of all, yes, the content with the things in the skilltree is here; I was unable to finish the alternate ending in time, but the new area is in the game with some new goals to aim for and some rare stats that can now also be increased!

NEW AREA - THE KURSED FACTORY
This is it - endgame stuff, goals - cool stats... what does it do, how does it work? Well, I hope you're able to play and experience the discovery of this new area! It might require some clicking and a bit of investigation, but there are surely some cool new things to find!

I was hoping to have the alternate ending come out with this update - but it was not completed in time for the festival. You can check the roadmap for more info; it will be coming but it will be a bit late.

SPOOKIWI FESTIVAL
For the spookiest fest, we have... two cosmic-horror themed content updates! This one and the previous one. These are both permanent updates that add content to the game that's not going away... but a hat, a costume and spookiness were promised for this event, so we're giving you...

RECAP - COSMIC VISITOR
As of the previous week, the Cosmic Visitor is here and they bring us vaguely creepy sounds! Oh, and also very powerful cards that you can use... or save up to use later! They are also vaguely disguised for the event above!
The Cosmic Visitor appears a few times per hour, popping over your screen - try not to miss them! But if you do, they'll come back a little faster than usual (they're very empathetic and worry you might feel bad for not getting the rewards).
IT'S THE END OF THE ROAD AS WE KNOW IT
A bit of this last update has broken off into its own little shortstop along the way, but other than that we're all about done with the original roadmap. At the end of this week we'll discuss plans for the coming months - I'll probably take a rest from content updates for a little bit.
That being said, the little bit left should be pretty cool still:
GAME END UPDATE - ALTERNATE ENDING
With Cosmic Hunger, the game now has what I'd call a 'chill' ending - it gives you a bit of a harder goal and then a hopefully enjoyable payoff for you to remember. So the alternate ending, for bigger, harder, goals should come as a very memorable moment.
You can spoil yourself a bit with the unachievable achievements, but I won't delve into it ahead of time.
1.2.4B - COSMIC VISITOR WARMFIXES
Hello everyone, here are some small tweaks for the latest patch - hope y'all are enjoying it!
COSMIC VISITOR
Now appears in the offline progress screen if it has been a few hours (does not trigger on timeskip cards)
Removed a few problematic appearance locations, adjusted some and added a few new ones
The Cosmic Visitor will stay longer if you have a time speed multiplier, so you have enough time to click it
The Cosmic Visitor is now clickable while retreating
TWITCH INTEGRATION
'!buy' commands will now buy the maximum amount (time to fight with chat!)
'!click' commands now have better visual feedback and stronger impact
FIXES AND CHANGES
King's pulp will now float in the air instead of falling to the ground
Fixed interdimensional alchemists freezing up if they had no good targets for throwing potiions
Fixed interdimensional archers shooting carpentry's special king

Sup my kiwi-os - it's been a little bit, how are y'all doing?
Today I bring you not one, not three, but TWO updates at once! (one of them is outside the game)
COSMIC HUNGER is getting closer - but it's not here, this is just a tribute.
The external update is... Steam Community items! (cards and all that stuff) The in-game update is... well, it's a bunch of things- but let's get the cards out of the way first!
STEAM CARDS & COMMUNITY ITEMS
We now have Steam Cards... and emojis... and profile backgrounds... and even an animated avatar!
Need I say more? Hopefully not, because that's all there is to say about this - ah wait, these items feature cool art made by my buddy Daniel Romanenco and they also contain a lot of Kiwi World lore!
ALSO CARDS - BUT INSIDE THE GAME

The cosmic visitor appears a few times per hour, popping over your screen - try not to miss them! But if you do, they'll come back a little faster than usual (they're very empathetic and worry you might feel bad for not getting the rewards).
What do the cards do?? - you can see one in the picture, but there are a total of 7 types - with 4 rarities that define how powerful their effects are. Also, I'm not telling you what they do - go play.
Oh, this also comes with a few new achievements!
TWITCH INTEGRATION (PLEASE CLAP)
The game now allows streamers to connect to their chats easily through the main menu - once you're connected, chat activity and all that twitch stuff will start doing things in the game!
For the 99.3% of us who aren't streamers, you can still just connect to some random chat and check out the benefits - but there's a tradeoff, if you connect to a stream you'll only have Twitch Visitors, so no more Cosmic Visitors until you disconnect!
THE INFININODES OF UPGRADENING
To get everyone ready for the Cosmic Hunger update - which of course, should feature more cosmic numbers (more bigger) - there are now infininodes behind the 4 things in the skilltree.
The things themselves are not yet active, but now you can enjoy buying 3 upgrade levels and going 'oof, they do be getting expensive fast, huh?'!
THE ROAD AHEAD GROWS SHORTER
What's this, two stops have been crossed-off at once? Only one stop remains in the current plans???
We're close to the planning stage of the roadmap, and no one knows what will happen there. But until then, focus on the upcoming update instead!
ENDGAME UPDATE - COSMIC HUNGER
We now have the Cosmic Hunger update coming at the end of the month, this is the update everyone who's waiting for updates has been waiting for - and it now has a better name that isn't just a placeholder title referencing ingame placeholder elements!
What's it all about? For more info you can read the event announcement for it (although the spookiwi part is already in Cosmic Visitors).

QUALITY OF LIFE
Added accidental-purchase-prevention when dragging the skilltree.
Increased the number of upgrades that 'max' can buy (up to 999).
BALANCING
Parts of Ki have been refunded & their cost has been adjusted ahead of the next update
The cost of the 5 krowns has been adjusted, the "first" two are much cheaper and the "last" two are much more expensive. The currency gain growth from penances was too big and was causing part of the underground content to be skipped as you could very easily chain krowns, hopefully the pacing is a little more chilled out now.
FIXES
Fixed the feedback animation & sound for failing a spikie not playing properly
Fixed being able to summon kings without having kings to summon
This hunger that grows and slowly consumes everything and everyone - could one even vanquish a yearning? ...would they even want to?
AN ENDING - AND NEW BEGINNING?
Finally the truth behind it all is revealed - who, or what, was pulling the strings of this whole story all along? ...wait, what do you mean with 'what story?' ????
This update brings more endgame content as well as a narrative ending for the game - what's a 'narrative ending'? It's where people who don't play clicker games forever close them and never open them again. For the rest of us, this could also be the gate for a new prestige layer in the future!
NEW ENDGAME CONTENT - YES, NEW ENDGAME CONTENT This update adds new features such as the ones that will be in the game when the update comes out, and that's all of them right there. These new features will allow you to do the thing that the update adds that's related to the image at the top and the name of the update. If you'd like to spoil yourself and read what they are, exactly, go ahead: "what they are, exactly"
SPOOKIWI EVENT - OOooOOooOOO
To celebrate this hallowed period of the year, the ghosts of kiwis that passed have briefly returned - but I'll leave it in your hands to make sure that doesn't last long!
GHOST-HUNTING - Obliterate the sins of your past as they literally haunt your game... for cool bonuses and rewards! But watch out, don't take too long or you might suffer the consequences... guilt.
PUMPKIWIS - Kiwis are now pumpkins, but also still kiwis - a feeble attempt at disguising your operation, one might say, but there's no turning back - we ordered 4 trillion costumes so we're going to use them.
A HAT - As a sign of respect for the culture of this game distribution platform where we all currently reside and enjoy our leisure time, we've studied the norms and traditions of its founders to create a unique, never-before-seen, ritual to honor their will. As such, there's also now a special hat. No more clarification will be provided at this point.
DARKNESS FALLS UPON THE KIWINGDOM (IF YOU WANT) - v1.2.3
Hello, hello - how are y'all doing?
It's been a little bit - I even managed to take a few days off! But we're back with another update about a week after that (me getting back, not the last update).
This one contains the second part of the Advanced Settings, which are not numerous but are much more impactful than the smaller ones, with highlights like Darkmode, the new unlockable Run Planner & toggleable letterboxing.
Hope ya'll were holding out well enough - new content updates are back on the menu! Check the updated roadmap at the end of this post for more info on what lies ahead.
RECAP - ADVANCED OPTIONS
These updates added a new panel to the game's menu with features requested & voted on by players through the game's Discord! These were actually not just limited to options, but also included Quality of Life improvements as well.
SHOW ROYAL CEREMONY: When disabled, the kazoo & royal guard animations will not play anymore.
VISUAL SETTINGS
DARKMODE: When enabled, completely changes the color scheme of the game so it's much darker
LETTERBOX PLAYABLE AREA: When enabled, the game will automatically letterbox ultra-ultrawide and chonky resolutions to avoid visual issues.
FRAMERATE SELECTOR: When v-sync is off, allows you to select the game's framerate cap.
WINDOWED RESOLUTION: When fullscreen is off, allows you to select the game window's resolution.
INTERFACE SETTINGS
RED FLASHING IN TRANSCEND TREE: When disabled, the transcendence screen will no longer flash while kings are alive.
THE COMPLETELY UNCHANGED ROAD AHEAD
Alright - a new stop has been crossed-off! Wait, did it always look like that? (no)
Less has changed than it might seem - the advanced options part was increased in size a little bit compared to what was originally planned, so the steam community items part popped out of it and made its own little castle.
MINOR CONTENT & RANDOM EVENTS
This update will add Kiwi Clicker's take on those random things that pop on the screen randomly that you click and get some random bonus - but of course, it wouldn't be fun if it were just 'click thing, get random effect', would it?
These new powers, as well as additional smaller effects and animations, will also be used to make the game support twitch integration - so that chatters can directly interact with what they're watching!
STEAM CARDS & ALL THAT STUFF
This update isn't an update - it's all that steam stuff with cards, emotes and badges. It has its own castle now and is waiting on a few art assets to be finalized for it to come into fruition!

REMAINING PATCH NOTES
QUALITY OF LIFE
The game's global volume has been boosted by 10db to better support playing with speakers.
Sliders can now be clicked and dragged from any point, not just their handles.
The sekiwity shortcut has been changed from 'F' to 'S' to avoid accidental 'GG'ing.
Changed a few icons and visuals to make it clearer which ones represent krowns.
Added a 'buy all' indicator to the 'buy all' button in the profession screen.
BALANCING
Archery now has a much lower delay between king spawns compared to normal.
Alchemy's potion-feeding scaling factor & high tier potions point multiplier both reduced by ~20%.
Alchemy's potion tier-scaling now grows much more significantly, up to over 500% in higher tiers
Carpentry's king has much more health, allowing players to more easily use them for income
Carpentry's king now heals back to full health when a kingling is spawned, allowing for more control
Carpentry can now store up to 8 kings instead of 5, allowing for easier bonuses as well as more control over extra-long kingling combos
Carpentry's kinglings can now be summoned with close to 0 delay - both naturally and through the button
FIXES
Fixed sounds playing as you open the game even if you had 0 volume or muted the game.
Fixed price indicators on buttons not instantly updating when number formatting was changed
