After 5 years in development KnightOut is finally releasing on the 3rd of June on Steam and Nintendo Switch. Wistlist it now!

Knightmare on Brawlstreet is back ! Update #15

Play anytime during the event to unlock spooky Halloween items for your knight. Every other day you play the game you will unlock new Halloween themed goodies.
We have retouched the environments and given them all a Halloween flare with spooky décor such as Jack-O'-Lanterns and spider webs.
It's the prefect time to enjoy the spooky vibes in KnightOut, alone or with a friend.
We also now added steam achievements !
Changes:
Fixed bug where you couldn’t go back to the menu from the tutorial in 4k resolution.
Fixed a bug where you could die in the first part of the tutorial but not respawn or complete it.
Fixed a bug where key binding settings only would open once and not the second time you try to open it.
Fixed bug where the loading text in the tutorial would look weird in 4k resolution.
Fixed bug where the loading screen with tips etc. would look weird in 4k resolution.
Fixed bug where the brick textures would get an offset that didn’t fit.
Fixed bug where the last shoot from the soaker would just fall to the ground.
Fixed bug where going back to the main menu from the score screen in arcade game mode would mess up the menu.
Fixed a bug where coins would fly through walls.

Finally we a new update for KnightOut. We hope it was worth the wait!
2 new classic maps added to the story section.

We added a new world in the story section to explore.
The first 5 levels are easier now.
It’s now easier to proceed and the gates only require 6 cupcakes now instead of 10.
We added a new enemy cinematic introduction for the brute in the first world.
We reworked the jump of the knight, so he can now do half jumps.
It’s now easier to bounce on mushrooms.
We also added text and credits to the end of the story section.
Plus a ton of bug fixing as usual.

Update #13 - Small fixes
Small fixes regarding artifacts in different levels, which are now fixed. The leaderboards wasn't showing in arcade mode, which is now fixed.
Update #12 - 4 new levels, Localization & key mapping
Hi fellow knights,
It’s been a little bit longer since our last update. There will be fewer updates as we approach release, since most work is behind the scenes with various bug fixing etc.
We added 4 new levels and redid level 6. Which means tons of new fun to give a go if you have been playing the game for a while.
We also added two translations, Danish and French. We will add more at a later date.
Lastly we added a feature some of our players have been requesting, key binding which means you can change the current setup and make it your own. It should make it easier to be two players on one keyboard.
We also fixed some bugs.

Update #11 - Story Mode
We are introducing a new mode in KnightOut, story mode! We are really excited since it’s something we have been working on for a long time. The enemies we added to arcade mode and the changes we did all lead up to this.
In the story mode you will enter Braal Kingdom, a kingdom which once had an abundance of riches with cup cakes and sweets but now struggles to afford even the smallest castles. One peasant decides to go on a journey to help the royals and rebuild their empire. You will play through several levels, gain more weapons to your arsenal and be rewarded with cup cakes that unlocks new worlds. It’s a single-player and co-op mode.We would love to hear your feedback on our discord channel.

Story mode is added.
Soaker now does less damage to drakes.
Respawn is now longer in arcade depending on the number of players.
Wizards and Archers now spawn at later waves in Arcade.
Coins are now optimized.
Coin drop is now based on wave number, so in later waves each enemy drops less coins.
You now have longer time to build in between waves (60 seconds).
Soaker now shows if it is filled or not.
DeepForest map have an updated ground.
Added volume slider for voices
Fixed issues with the building gui not displaying the right text or cost.
Brutes has a longer attack range now.
Brutes will attack up when jumped
Small animation fix to grunts so they don’t stutter after being hit.
Enemies now do more damage to walls etc.
Fixed bug where players couldn’t use cannons in tutorial after playing a game.
Fixed bug where players could go past the cannon and fly in the air in the tutorial.

You will find the new enemy in arcade mode, it’s baby drakes that comes more often than regular drakes. They are easier to knock out but often attack in groups. Beware they are a challenge.
We would love your feedback on the new event and the changes. We would also like to encourage you to leave an honest review if you haven't done so already, it helps new players decide if they want to give KnightOut a go.
What’s next? We have some great updates coming up, and we will continue to update KnightOut until we release it. Which isn’t too far into the future now. We are really excited about bringing you new features.

Update #9 - Minor Fixes
Changes:
Drake’s now don’t fly into each other.
Drake’s and Wizard’s don’t attack each other anymore.
Drake’s takes more damage from melee attacks now.
Fixed bug where the explosion after a fireball wouldn’t appear.
Grunts, brutes, drakes and wizards now don’t get their bodies stuck in the air after dying.
Fixed bug where the wizard would get stuck in an attack animation after his death.
Shield now works against grunt’s melee attack.
The wizard's healing is now reworked, he throws a healing potion for more clarity.

Update #8 - The Wizard Arrives
We are excited to introduce a new enemy. The wizard arrives, he is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to. He can heal other enemies and cast fireballs making him a first priority target.
We aim to improve his animations and abilities, but we wanted to give you a chance to play against him.

New enemy, the wizard.
The brute now has a special attack.
We changed the animations of the grunts to be more clear.
