Though a fragile order was restored by the intervention of Lord Vishnu’s divine champion, shadows rise once again as the Asura Kali, the Great Deceiver, reveals himself.

As Kali's corrupted legions scour the mortal worlds, the ancient Asura Ahi, the archenemy of heaven, has been resurrected to lay siege to all of heaven.

Beset on all fronts with the end of all existence almost certain, the gods themselves have chosen to retaliate.

Indra, Vayu, Bhumi, Surya and Varuna have initiated a call to arms to all the warriors of the three worlds, to join their armies as champions against injustice."


New Feature: Faction System

With this update, we introduce the Faction System—redefining how you can fight, strategize, and build your decks. Each Hero in game is now a part of a Faction where they align themselves to a god, good or evil.

Note: If you owned the legendary card before, we will unlock it's Hero version for you for free!

Cards in each Faction will now be shared between the all the Heroes in that faction. The New Heroes come with a new power and passive which will unlock new ways to play with existing and new cards!

- Guardians of Soma: Drops Surya and Neutral cards.

We believe this would allow most players to get the cards they want to collect rather than being subject to a large amount of luck from only 1 card pack set

Bazaar and Premium Faction Packs

Additionally, a Faction specific Premium Set will also rotate daily for 100 Shards. This set guarantees at least 2 cards of that specific faction each time it is opened, drastically increasing the chances of the specific cards that players would want to collect.

Bazaar Card Prices Updated:
- Common: 10 Shards
- Rare: 20 Shards
- Epic: 100 Shards
- Legendary: 500 Shards

Shadows stir amidst the chaos of the Kaliyuga, as the ancient Asura Andhaka gains the boon of immortality from Brahma. Before he sets upon his campaign to conquer the Tri-Loka (The Three Worlds), Andhaka hosts the Blood Trials Tournament in the city of the Danavas, the most malevolent of the Asuras, to choose his champion.

ANDHAKA –(Legendary Card): Born blind, Andhaka gained divine vision and immortality from Brahma. Now, he seeks a champion through the Blood Trials.

ADHARAM – (Legendary Weapon Card): This unholy weapon grants immense attack power but drains your Hero’s health each turn. Only the boldest warriors dare to wield it—can you handle the cost of power?


DANAVA TANTRA – (Legendary Spell Card): A dark spell that links the two Hero combatants in a powerful magic that equalizes their vitality. Perfect for turning the tide of battle when you need it most.


Arena Mode returns with this update!
For those unfamiliar, Arena Mode is a limited-time game mode that allows you to play with curated Heroes and Cards, even if they’re locked content. Draft your Arena Mode deck, and you’re ready to play the gauntlet of six matches waiting between you and the prize.



With the arrival of Season 13: Danava Blood Trials, we’re introducing key balance changes to refine the gameplay experience. This update adjusts unit strengths, spell effectiveness, and card costs to promote strategic depth and competitive play.

Himastra – Soma cost increased from 3 to 4. No longer increases Hero base damage.
Charming Touch – Soma cost increased from 1 to 2,
Spear Guard – Now has Guards. Health reduced from 4 to 3
Royal Guard – Gains the Anger property.
Forest Vaanar – New Stats: (1/0/2). Soma cost reduced to 1. Now has Heals
Light Chariot – Soma cost reduced from 3 to 2
Sushruta – Adjusted stats to (3/0/6). Soma cost reduced to 5
Asura's Curse – Soma cost reduced from 2 to 1.

Flowers still bloom amidst the chaos of the Kaliyuga, as the seasons change and Spring arrives. The gardens echo with cheerful new tunes played by Gandharva musicians. And Lord Kamadeva, in the spirit of spring revelry, opens his arsenal to bestow upon the worthy a new weapon.

New Karma Pass: Gardens of Kama









Grab the all-new Karma Pass and begin unlocking three new Legendary Cards! Banjara can be unlocked at level one, a cheerful Gandharva who plays enchanting tunes to turn the tide of battle. Adding to your Arsenal is Lord Kama’s spear, granting your Hero additional damage for every enemy charmed. And finally, Vasant, a new spell to rejuvenate your Hero. Vasant allows you to regain all Soma during its turn, and draw two cards.



The Gardens of Kama season adds a new neutral spell card to the card pool, Charming Touch. Charming Touch grants one Unit the ability to Charm.



Lord Kama’s Spear is a new neutral weapon card that gives your Hero +1 Damage for every opponent charmed. Its neutral status means it can be equipped by all Heroes available in-game. We can already think of some synergies players can try with the new spell entering the card pool!



Arena Mode is a limited-time game mode that allows you to play with curated Heroes and Cards, even if they’re locked content. Draft your Arena Mode deck, and you’re ready to play the gauntlet of six matches waiting between you and the prize.



Tickets are your way into the Arena, and we've given you your first one to get started. After tapping duels in the game lobby select Arena and use a ticket to enter Arena Mode. Once entered you’re locked in for 6 duels where every win matters.



Drafting will show you some familiar Heroes and cards, alongside others you may not own yet. Choose one from three Heroes on your screen. You can pick your familiar comfort pick or, roll the dice like Shakuni Mama and experiment with a less familiar Hero. Once your hero is selected, it’s time to build your deck. Choose from three random cards offered to you onscreen. Cards offered will cycle based on synergies with each other, rarity, and cost. Your chosen Hero and crafted deck will be by your side for the matches ahead.

You won’t be able to change your deck or Hero, so think hard and build the best deck possible with these offerings!



Now, the true challenge begins with a six-match gauntlet. Take on other players in PvP battles and win all six matches on your ticket to climb the Arena Mode leaderboard. Winning 6 duels without a single loss rewards you with a Gold and Silver medal. If you lose a duel on this ticket but still complete your six wins, you get a Gold medal. Three Silver Medals will convert to a Gold Medal. If you lose twice though, your ticket expires and you need to start again with a new ticket.



Each Gold Medal earned will help you climb the event leaderboard and collect limited-time rewards.

Your first Gold Medal will earn you 400 Gold.
Your second Gold Medal will earn you an Epic Card.
Your third Gold Medal will earn you a Legendary Card.
Your fourth Gold Medal will earn you 250 Shards.
Your fifth Gold Medal will earn you an Epic Card.
Your sixth Gold Medal will earn you 1250 Gold.

The top 10 players on the Arena Mode leaderboard will each earn a Karma Pass, so keep collecting those precious Medals!

A tall figure emerges to defend his sacred mountain…

Amidst the chaos of the Kaliyuga, the mighty Himalayas manifest to protect their sacred lands. Himavat, protector of this hallowed ground joins the battle, protecting pilgrims passing through his Kingdom and stopping the spread of evil.

New Karma Pass: Journey To The Himalayas









Grab the all-new Karma Pass and begin unlocking three new Legendary Cards! Himavat can be unlocked at level one, a Unit with the Freezes property and the special ability to freeze all opponents after he attacks. Adding to your arsenal is the Himastra, granting your Hero Freeze and a damage buff. And finally, Himasura, a powerful Daitya serving the Himalaya’s Guardian. Himasura has the property to Freeze opponents, while also transforming any falling allies into Ice Daityas.



What would a Journey to the Himalayas be without a touch of ice? Season 11 gives players more options to explore an older property in-game. While once seen as Hero-specific, the new Seasonal offerings alongside the preexisting Ice Daitya and Snow Leopard Units could lead to some interesting deckbuilding.



The Himastra, a mysterious Astra of unknown origin was unearthed in the sacred mountains, wieldable by any that dares.

For the first time, a neutral weapon card has been added to Kurukshetra: Ascension! Its neutral status means it can be equipped by all Heroes available in-game. The Himastra will give your Hero +1 damage and the ability to Freeze. We wonder what new synergies players will come up with for this Legendary new weapon!



Purge your allies! Be warned though, that this property removes all effects, negative and positive. While you may purge a unit from a nasty burn or bleed, you might also remove useful properties such as Guards or Heal. Purge can also be used to clear the effects of Silence. So, use it wisely.



Beginning with Heroes, let’s address the requested changes to Arjuna who has been dominant in the game meta.

Admittedly, even though it’s fun to chain Spells together, given the limited counters to it, we felt Arjuna’s passive required some intervention. We understand that most Arjuna decks rely on this for their win condition, but for now, we will be monitoring win rates closely till the next balance patch.

Bheem



Impatience has been reworked.


Old: (4 Soma) Draw 2 cards. They cost 2 less this turn.
New: (3 Soma) Draw 1 card. It costs 1 less.

Surpanakha



Stay A While has been reworked.


Old: Charms last one turn longer.
New: Charmed Units have +3 damage.

Property Changes



Living Shield reworked: No longer blocks effects that destroy.
Mirage reworked: Can now be triggered only once. Reduces Soma cost of Unit by 2.
Ignite reworked: Deal +1 damage for each status effect on the target.
Heals All reworked: Healing reduced to 1.
Charm reworked: Charmed Unit returns to its owner whenever it takes damage. (Cards with special Charm effects remain the same.)
Silence reworked: Silence can be removed with Purge and other negative buff-removing effects.
Attacks now remove effects like Living Shield, Distract, etc. even if they deal 0 damage.
Hero Powers are now blocked by Spell Immunity.

Neutral Cards



Forest Yaksha: now has Purge
Naga Archer: now has Purge.
Guru: Passive removed now has Purge. New stats (6/0/7)
Worldly Apsara: Passive removed but now has Purge

During our last community poll, we asked our players to pick the next update we prioritize. We’re excited to announce that “draft mode”, or as it’s called in-game, "Arena Mode" is here!

New Game Mode: Arena Mode



Arena mode is a new game mode that allows you to play with curated Heroes and Cards, even if they’re locked content. Draft your Arena Mode deck, and you’re ready to play the gauntlet of six matches waiting between you and the prize.

If they run out, tickets are available in the Arena Store. Once entered you’re locked in for 6 duels where every win matters.

New Karma Pass: Immortals Of Kaliyuga







Grab the all-new Karma Pass and begin unlocking three new Legendary Cards! Ashwatthama can be unlocked at level one, a Unit with the new property Immortal and the special ability to destroy a random unit on deployment. Bolstering your arsenal as you go forward, the Narayanastra, damages enemies equal to their damage. And finally, the Divine Gem plucked from Ashwaththama’s forehead, a spell that applies the Immortal property to units.



Use this wisely, as the Immortal property will have a trade-off. Every time the unit dies, its cost rises. We wonder which units you prioritize and how the meta shapes up!



Exploring, strategizing and deckbuilding is core to Kurukshetra: Ascension experience, and we’ve given it a fresh new look along with some new features and filters to sort by Soma and show you card rarity and cost distribution.

Dharma Ladder Changes





With the updated UI, each rank is being split into divisions, making rewards and ranking up more meaningful. Players may notice some changes in rank progression in the early ranks so that you rank up faster. The season reset cap has been reduced from 1000 Dharma per hero to 600. We hope this levels the playing field better.




The new player experience is always on our radar, and we’ve made some changes to simplify the tutorial experience while teaching players core mechanics. So now would be a great time to invite your friends to try out the revamped tutorial!

September 2024 Update

The update you’ve all been waiting for is here: The Bazaar Update goes live, alongside other major quality of life changes, and a new bundle! We won’t keep you too long, as time can be so precious to us mere mortals.



Notification System: New Bundles, Bazaar cards and Daily Free Bonus refresh will show a notification on the Store icon. We hope this helps you grab your rewards on refresh.

Daily Rewards: Players can now collect 15 Gold every 6 hours instead of 20 Gold every 24 hours. Additionally, players can now collect 10 Shards every 24 hours.

Shards: New Shard amounts have been added at different denominations for purchase.

Black Market Trader: Now only offers unowned cards! Legendary cards will refresh every 3 days instead of 7. Additionally, he will now accept coins as payment for Common and Rare cards.





New Bundles have been added to the store that offer a curated selection of three cards. These bundles aren’t just limited to units, spell bundles will also be available.



While we’re always looking for avenues to improve your gameplay experience, these improvements go live today:

Move Queuing: multiple moves in game can now be made in a sequence. Most animations will no longer prevent the UI to be locked. No more waiting for animations to end before making a move.

Campaign Dialogue Skips: A Skip button has been added during campaign dialogues which will appear on a few consecutive screen taps or clicks, allowing players to skip the entire dialog sequence.

Opponent Disconnection Timer: A timer will now appear on an opponent's Hero frame when they disconnect. When it reaches 0, they will auto-resign.



Inspire: The buff no longer activates on the unit casting Inspire. The buff will continue to work on other units you have deployed.

All Unit Cards that did 0 damage now have 1 damage:

  • Herald
  • Medic
  • Kalia Lohar
  • Forest Rakshasi
  • Orangutan Vaanar
  • War Chef


Note: 0 Damage cards are great at support but can be prime targets for Silence. We feel that it was important for them to retain some damage on the board even after being silenced. We will be closely monitoring these cards for future balance changes.

Mantra of Fire: Cost reduced to 3 from 4.

At level 40, unlock Prsni with the Commands property while also gaining damage and health for every card drawn!



Divine Fury is the new Astra added this season. It allows you to discard all cards in your hand in exchange for damage that stacks. This Spell Card will be available in Card Packs, so open some to get a head start over your opponents!



These were teased on our Instagram last month, and they’re now in-game! The new frames are designed to communicate card rarity and make the beautiful art more prominent. Our Indian theme also comes alive with these frames; you can see little details like the Trishul in Legendary Cards.





- Divine Duty: Is now Divine Curse. Instead of dying on turn ending, the target Unit will become Cursed.
- Huhu: Health reduced from 5 to 4 and Soma cost increased to 4 from 3.
- Raktabija: Soma cost reduced to 7.

The War For Triloka brings new conflict to the Realms!

Heaven, Earth, and Hell are under siege. Will you conquer the three worlds in the War for Triloka, Yodha?

After the Great War, the defenses of Swarga lie weakened. Led by the opportunistic Raktabija, a horde of evil Asuras claw at the walls in an attempt to conquer the Triloka.

New Karma Pass: War for Triloka - Part 1





Seasonal Cards





Grab the all-new Karma Pass and begin unlocking three new legendary cards! Raktabija can be unlocked at level one, a powerful unit with Overkill and the ability to split into two. The flaming Asuri Holika unlocks at level 20, with flame attacks so potent, they Burn and Curse her opponents. At level 40, unlock Chanda, who transfers damage from all cursed units on the board to himself!

A player originally suggested Raktabija, and we’re super excited to put him in the game.



Sushruta, another card suggested by a community member has also been added to the game, going into card packs from this season. Sushruta is a potent healer, so keep your eyes peeled for him. The Rakshasi Commander and Master Thug have been added to the Rakshasa and Assassin factions respectively, adding a new layer to their mid-game playstyles.

Asura’s Curse is a new spell that lets you curse any enemy unit. Finally, we have Soul Sacrifice, a spell that damages your hero, but gives them Overkill for two turns. We can’t wait to see what strategies you build with these new cards so open those card packs to get a head start over your opponents!





We’ve taken your feedback seriously on wanting additional ways to earn rewards in-game. We are rolling out our first phase of Rewarded Ads with this update. You can interact with them three times a day to earn 350 bonus Karma for completing Daily Quests. We hope this helps you get to that final Karma Pass level quicker, and unlock unlimited rewards!

Mount Meru, the final Realm is open to Yodhas!

Have you been sowing chaos and curses on the battlefield? It's time to gather your sena and start your ascent, as Mount Meru is here!

New Realm: Mount Meru





Picture the most incredible mountain you could climb – made of gold and reaching so high, it touches the stars! That is Mount Meru according to the legends. The final path that leads to the abode of the Devas. A place of light, wisdom, and now, conflict!

The Ascension experience is a culmination of all your choices from the humble beginnings of Narak to the lofty peaks of Meru, exploring the conflicts between realms and resolving them along the paths of Shesha and Garuda. You’ll see some familiar faces from our previous seasons (and some new ones!), as they may help or hinder your journey. The choices you have made Yodha will have world-altering consequences you’ll be able to see in a new cinematic that plays upon completing the Meru campaign. We wonder though, are there other paths one may follow?

New Store Bundle





The realms have been tied together in more ways than one, head over to the store to grab a bundle that includes Pataal, Prithvi, and Meru at a special price.



Hero 8: Kaikeyi



The former Queen of Ayodhya and master strategist is now under development as our next Hero. Kaikeyi thrives in the shadows, utilizing stealth and cunning to eliminate her targets. We are currently exploring and testing various designs for her mechanics. Expect an update soon.



New Features



New features are making their way into Kurukshetra: Ascension as well. Some were community suggestions, and others we hope will add more immersion to your play sessions.

In-Game Move History



Players can now look up previous moves played in a match. Need to track what your opponent did? Forgot how many copies of a card were played? Just tap the Move History button to see what went down!

Quest Re-roll



Having a hard time completing a quest? The new Quest Re-roll system lets you switch your daily and weekly quests for a small fee of 5 and 20 Shards respectively. There is no cap on how many times a player can re-roll a quest, so go wild! Please note that New Player and Premium Hero quests cannot be re-rolled currently.

Boss Voice-overs



Finally, our Bosses can show how menacing they really are! Key interactions with Bosses are now voice-acted, adding an entirely new layer of immersion.



New UI and VFX



At Studio Sirah, we’re constantly trying to make the game a seamless and stunning visual experience for our players! Get ready to experience a refreshed look and feel with a brand-new splash for the Launch screen, a streamlined Realm Select UI, polished Deck Builder visuals, VFX updates for attacks, and more.



Balance Changes



Elephant: Health reduced from 7 to 6.
Boulder Giant: Damage reduced from 6 to 5.
Tidal Giant: Soma Cost increased from 6 to 7.
Divine Apsara: Soma Cost increased to 9. Damage increased to 7 and Health increased to 8.
Blitz: This spell no longer pierces but damage increased from 2 to 3.

Daily Reward Changes



Streaks have been removed, so there’s no worry about missing out on your streak ever again. Instead, the daily reward is now 20 gold coins on your first daily login.
