March was a month dedicated to Karna, and we’re overwhelmed by the love our community has for the Suryaputra! We also debuted Kurukshetra: Ascension at GDC 2024 in San Francisco, and we’re going to tell you about it soon. This season though, the Suryaputra and other Heroes will face another faction that has descended from Mount Meru to join the battle! So, let’s talk about what’s in store for the new season.

New Karma Pass: Mantra Of Fury

New Cards

Grab the all-new Karma Pass and begin unlocking three new legendary cards! Rishi Pulastya comes first, with the power to lay a curse on your opponents. Grab the powerful Mantra Of Fury Spell Card at level 25, to give your Hero the Anger property. At level 40, unlock Durvasa, a powerful Rishi, who punishes all who dare cast a spell in his presence!

Four Spell Cards have also been added to the card pool along with the Sanyasi and Rishika units, so open those card packs to get your hands on them before your opponents!

Season 7 - Mantra Of Fury, is live now!

New Properties

Two new properties will shake up the meta this season, Pulastya will debut with Curse, and Durvasa with Anger. The Mantra Of Fury Spell Card will provide your hero with Anger too, and we can’t wait to see the decks our Yodhas craft with these!

Dawn Of The Suryaputra: Karna Is Here!

Dawn of the Suryaputra

“WHERE IS KARNA?”

Not a day goes by without our passionate players asking us this question. Our response has been long overdue, but the sheer greatness of the incomparable Golden Warrior needed our entire team to level up and rise to the challenge.

The wait is finally over! Karna… is here.

The most anticipated hero in Kurukshetra: Ascension’s history joins the fray today. Now, it is your turn, Yodha, to rise to a challenge of your own. Only the masterful can harness the wildfire that is the Suryaputra. Are you ready?

Karna, the son of the Sun God Surya, has arrived to set the battlefield ablaze. The brothers who once humiliated and rejected him will now face his fiery wrath! From his glowing Kundala and burning Kavach, to unique new mechanics, and an entirely new faction under his command, Karna brings the heat!

Karna: Abilities Overview

Base Stats: Karna begins a game with 25 HP, 1 Damage, and 0 Armour, with his legendary Kavach being obtainable through a Spell Card.

Hero Power - Arrow Spray: Aim for the heavens and scorch anyone who stands in your way! Arrow Spray deals 1 damage to all enemies on the board.

Hero Passive - Sacrifice: There's no sacrifice too great when victory is at hand! Drag a card from your hand to the Soma Counter to receive 1 Soma for that turn.

Night Mode:

Unleash Karna’s full potential with impressive builds in Night Mode. Karna’s playstyle in Night Mode follows three loosely defined paths. Nine new Night Cards open up possibilities to burn your opponents, buff your units' damage, and build epic combos. We can’t wait to see the unique strategies and decks our players come up with.

New Faction:

The Asura… creatures engulfed by the darkness who once fell to the raging might of the Sun God. Now, they bow to the Suryaputra. Terrifyingly feral, the Asura are hard-hitting units with a compelling new property. “Cursed” is a double-edged sword that forces the unit to transfer 1 damage every turn to opponents. However, proficient strategists can find ways to retain this damage for themselves!

The Asura are a mechanically complex faction we’ve designed in tandem with a branch of Karna’s Night Cards.

Unlocking Karna:

Karna is our first Premium Hero, requiring a test of skill to unlock. To unlock Karna with Shards, players must first win 35 duels.

Going forward, all new Heroes will be Premium Heroes at launch, as the complexity of Hero mechanics has gradually increased over time. With this change, we aim to help new players ease into the basics of Kurukshetra: Ascension before they accidentally unlock more complicated Heroes.

However, for those who wish to unlock Karna right away, a Hero Bundle is available in the Store. The Karna Hero Bundle includes exclusive Avatars, three Legendary Cards, Hero Progression, and instant access to Night Mode.

Head over to the in-game store now!

Balance Changes

- Jatayu: No longer has Swift and his health reduced from 5 to 4. Now has Flying
- Sampati: Soma cost increased to 3. Now has Flying
- Aruna: No longer has Swift. Now has Flying
- Tataka: Health reduced from 7 to 6
- Tidal Giant: Health reduced from 10 to 8
- Elephant: Health reduced from 8 to 7
- Golden Mongoose: Some cost increased from 4 to 5
- Kesari: Cost increased from 6 to 7
- Airavat: Soma cost reduced from 9 to 8
- Pushpa Dhanu: No longer reduces damage by 2. Now has Poisons

Mechanic and Card Property Changes

- Ephemeral: Units with this property no longer provide Row Protection
- Rescue: Rescued Units now cost -1 instead of -2
- Night Mode: Every night mode turn will now cleanse damage over time effects.
This is an experimental change as we felt that damage over time effects such as Burning and Bleeding can be too punishing if players do not have cleanse cards in their deck. We are looking into some updates to damage over time effects as a whole to make it slightly more strategic and balanced.

Wasn't that the best surprise? We thank you for your patience in waiting for him, and hope you're as excited as we are to play as Karna! We won't keep you here today Yodhas, go play Kurukshetra: Ascension!

March 2024 Update

Greetings Yodhas!

This is a short update for March, as our Holi offer goes live with some visual overhauls, balance changes and bug fixes. We won’t keep you too long, as the summer sun grows warmer by the day!

The Festival Of Colour is upon us Yodhas, and with that comes our first-ever Holi Sale! For a limited time only, the realms of Paatal and Prithvi are discounted. So now is a great time to catch up, in preparation for Mount Meru!

New fonts have been added to the game for better visual clarity. Match start VFX has been added, to improve animations for hero entry and card draws for better immersion into the vibrant world of Kurukshetra: Ascension, and tutorial VFX to make it easier for new players to inspect cards and learn their properties.

We have been listening to feedback on the current meta, and have tweaked some cards to curb the current dominance of Chariots. Disarm has also received significant changes.

- Gang Up: Changed to "All your Units regain their turn"
- Mahajan: Soma cost reduction of cards in hand is now 2 instead of 3
- Chariot Archer: Soma cost increased to 3 from 1 and damage reduced to 1 from 2
- Flame Sling: Soma cost has been increased to 3
- Balarama's Rage: Spell cards are now sent back to the opponent's deck instead of being permanently discarded
- Whiplash: Damage buff to Rakshasas is now reduced to 2 from 3
- Trickery: Surpanakha's Night Hero Power now sends back a random enemy card to their deck instead of permanently discarding them
- Disarm: The disarm property now returns the opponent's deployed weapon back to the deck instead of their hand
- Mayasura: Copied Unit no longer dies but is now Cursed. Cursed Units will transfer 1 attack from themselves to a random enemy

Apart from bug fixes rolling out with this patch, we are actively hot-fixing bugs daily. If you do encounter any bugs please report them through the Studio Sirah Discord.

- Fixed a freeze related to Maniman
- Bheem's summon should no longer deploy Mareecha who will immediately die when summoned
- Fixed an intermittent issue that was causing game freeze due to temporary network disconnects
- Fixed an issue where Sanjana's heal was not removing burn and bleed
- Fixed a freeze related to Blitz

Heroes: Rediscovery

Greetings Yodhas!

The Heroes: Rediscovery update is upon us! Get ready for significant early-game impact, improved synergy between Heroes and Units, a superior Hero levelling experience and Legendary cards that truly impress.

Hero-Balancing And Passives

It was fun while it lasted, but Hero damage previously allowed players to ramp up to extraordinary values, reducing the effectiveness of Unit Cards, including coveted Legendary units. Battles were often reduced to a Hero brawl, and the strategic depth of Kurukshetra: Ascension often fell by the wayside.

We have now lowered Hero damage across the board while also removing the Soma cost for hero weapon attacks.
Passives like ‘Rising Storm’ that buffed damage without a cap have been altered. Weapons, Cards, and Powers that provide damage buffs still exist but are now harder to obtain. While this may sound unpleasant at first glance, our testing has shown significantly greater Hero-Unit synergy and card impact. Your decks are powerful now and rightly so. We cannot wait to see what our players cook up.

The Early-Game Impact

“1-cost units are useless!”. We heard that feedback a lot and we agree! Hero damage and armour were too strong previously, and that brave Warrior’s damage was often blocked entirely. This was further backed by a lack of variety in low-cost units. Heroes were also able to ramp up damage very quickly in the early rounds, leaving starting Units in the dust.

Our solution is to remove Armour from Heroes, though some like Duryodhana and Surpanakha can still receive armour buffs from different cards in the mid-game. We’ve also significantly reduced Armour gain potential from our Ranged Heroes, as Row Protection was always meant to be a key strategic element in keeping them safe.

Finally, the starting player now begins with 2 Soma! Something our player base has been waiting to hear for a while. This opens up strategic depth right from round one, while also allowing low-cost units to influence the battle!

Hero Levelling

Hero cards weren’t being used to their full potential, with player feedback pointing to a difficulty in obtaining them being the root cause. Getting locked out of grabbing a specific Hero card just wasn't fun and limiting a Hero's true potential.

Hero Cards are back on the heroes individual progression track, with a few new ones being added along the way! These cards have also been removed from card packs, making it easier for you to snag the units you’ve been looking for. When you check your Hero track, you’ll also notice new avatars for these Hero-specific cards that you can proudly wear as a badge of honour.

Legendary Cards

Legendary Cards were powerful but often lacked utility or synergy with other units. Some were exceedingly dominant, while others saw far less use. We want players to be able to build decks around any Legendary in their inventory, instead of having to wait endlessly for that specific card.

To tackle this, we have completely overhauled Legendary Cards. They now synergize with far more properties and factions than before, along with the addition of new properties that bring depth to gameplay.

We’ve been playtesting these changes and having a blast! The late-game possibilities are endless, and we’re waiting for players to break the game with their unique decks and builds.

Now, let’s move on to discussing each hero and how we’re innovating their gameplay to new heights!

Arjuna

Arjuna’s might and prowess on the battlefield came from his bow, and of course the many Astras in his arsenal, we want our hero to reflect that. Along with other adjustments, Arjuna has a new passive, Gifted.

New Passive, Gifted: Draw a card when you cast a spell.

Base Stats:
1 Damage, 0 Armour, 20 Health

New Cards:

Brihannala: New Spell Card, Charm an enemy with 3 Health or less.
Ulupi: New Legendary Unit, Passive: All poison attacks reduce damage by 3.

Guard Me Changed to Piercing Attacks: All allies have Pierces.

Removed Cards:

Lightning Tips, Discharge, Piercing Arrows, Manavastra and Vritra’s Bane.

Sugriva

Sugriva was perhaps capable of the highest damage ramp-up, with the Shikari Gada and Tribe making his playstyle very one-dimensional and focused only on Hero to Hero attacks, we’re tackling that by adjusting his passive along with a few other tweaks.

New Passive, Flanks: Sugriva now Flanks.

Base Stats: 2 Attack, 0 Armour, 30 Health.

Cards reworked:

Angada: Now deals 4 damage and has 4 Health. Soma cost reduced by 1 per Vaanar deployed.
Nila: Gains +2 dmg/ +2 Health when opponent casts a spell. Damage and Health increased by 1.
Nala: Weapons cost -2 Soma.
Golden Vaanar: Soma cost increased to 5 from 4.
Sushena: Soma cost increased to 8 from 7. Now Silences all enemy Units on Deploy.
Sanjeevani changed to: Grant a Unit +3 Health. Soma cost increased to 2 from 1.

Forest Mantra: Cost reduction increased to -2 from -1.
Camouflage changed to Healer's Grove: All healing increased by 2.

Removed Cards:

Leap, Mighty Leap and Surya’s Blessing.

Bhishma

Bhishma, in his previous avatar, was too dependent on the opponent deploying units to build damage, not just limiting his own playstyle, but also the opponents. His new passive allows him freedom to attack anyone on the battlefield without fear of retaliation!

New Passive, Pitamah: Bhishma is now counter immune.

Base Stats: 1 Damage, 0 Armour, 20 Health

New Cards:

Ganga's Disciple: New Legendary Unit, +2 to all healing effects.
Sarala: New Legendary Unit, On Deploy: Charm any Unit till death; Charms last 1 turn longer.
Sentinel: New Legendary Unit, Guards and Spell-Immune.
Pauravi: New Legendary Unit, Ranged units cost -2 Soma.

Apsara: Renamed to Court Apsasra: Charm threshold increased to 5 health from 4. Health increased to 6 from 5.
Gangaputra: Soma cost increased to 6 from 5.
River of Arrows: Soma cost increased to 8 from 7.
Pushpa Dhanu: Now increases Heroes base damage by +1. On attack: Reduces enemy damage by 2.
Kaundinya: Now increases Heroes base damage by +2. Is no longer counter-immune. Soma cost reduced from 7 to 6.
Freezing Arrow: Renamed to Ice Arrow.
Ganga's Embrace: Health buff reduced from 5 to 3. Soma cost reduced to 2 from 3.
Commander: Unit cost reduction is now -1 per turn instead of -2.
Healing Waters: Healing reduced to 2 from 4.
Deep Freeze: No longer increases damage on frozen enemies. Now frozen enemies are stunned when damaged.
White Warrior changed to Spirit Warrior: Bhishma gains lifesteal.
Cleanse changed to Daze: Target has -2 Damage this turn.
Ranged Dominance: Damage increase reduced to +2 damage from +4 damage. Note: With this passive players won't be able to deploy melee Units as was intended earlier. (This might be changed in the upcoming balance patch.)
Pitamaha changed to Devavrata: Bhishma becomes Spell-Immune.

Removed Cards:

Scarlet Streams, Praswapastra, Divine Light, Ayurveda, Resolve, Flash Flood, Ice Weapons and Icy Breath.

Duryodhana

With lower soma cost units receiving significant tweaks, Duryodhana’s current passive puts him in a great place as we’ve balanced the Balachita as well. Previously Balachita’s damage bonus when an ally died lasted the entire match, we’ve adjusted this to only last during the turn the unit dies. This balance change still adds value to the playstyle of sacrificing units to buff Duryodhana, while also keeping him in tune with the new update.

Base Stats: 2 Damage, 0 Armour, 25 Health

New Cards:

Mir: New Unit, Assassinates.

Cards Reworked:

Balachita: Now increases Heroes base damage by +1. Damage gained when an ally dies now lasts only for that turn.
Susharma: Is now a neutral card. Damage increased to 5 from 4. Health increased to 6 from 5.
Gandhari's Blessing: Armour gain reduced to +1 from +2.
Royal Armoury: Is now a neutral card. Soma cost reduced to 2 from 3.
Protection: Is now a neutral card. Soma cost reduced to 2 from 5. Health gain increased to +5 from +4.
Alambusha: Now has 4 Damage, 2 Armour and 3 Health. Soma cost reduced to 5 from 7. No longer has Guards. Now has Disruptor.

Removed Cards:

Whirlwind, Bodyguard, and Scavenger.

Bheem

Bheem’s units and army now reflect his “savage” nature a little better. His spells and units have been balanced and tweaked to focus on buffing and building better synergy between the Rakshasa and Beast factions when playing Bheem. So now is the time to go wild on the battlefield!

Base Stats: 2 Damage, 0 Armour, 20 Health.

Surpanakha

Surpanakha’s ability to ramp up her damage was truly a terror on the battlefield, but integral to her core playstyle. To combat this we’ve made a few adjustments to when she can increase her damage, without lowering the numbers significantly. We’ve also worked on making strategic player choices during Night Mode integral to unlocking her full potential.

Base Stats: 1 Damage, 0 Armour, 25 Health.

Cards Reworked:

Dushana: Now gives your Hero Feeds.
Scale Armour: Soma cost increased to 3 from 1.
Demonic Shriek: Damage increased to 3 from 2.

Subahu: Now Grants Mirage to all Allied Units. No longer has Feeds. Soma cost reduced to 7 from 8.
Lash Out: Soma cost reduced to 5 from 6.
Assassinate: Kill any enemy unit; If you have an assassin, costs -3 soma. Soma cost increased to 7 from 5.
Blood Rain: Now also Buffs the health of rakshasa Units by 2. Soma cost reduced to 3 from 4.

The Midnight Raga brings you the music of the night!

Colour your mind during the season of the Midnight Raga! Let's talk about what's in store.

New Karma Pass: Midnight Raga

New Cards

Grab the all-new Karma Pass and begin unlocking three new legendary cards! Tumburu comes first, bringing musical svaras to the battle. Scale up the track to unlock Haha at level 25, and put your enemies in a permanent trance. Unlock his brother, Huhu when you hit level 40 and inspire your troops to deal more damage with every kill!

Nine spell cards have also been added to the mix along with two Gandharva units, so grab those card packs from the new and improved in-game store!

New Properties

We’re knocking it out of the park with THREE new properties this season, stemming from the new faction, and with how unique they are, we can’t wait to hear your feedback.

Dharma and Seasonal Rewards

Dharma is now active! From Season 6, Dharma will be used to measure your skill in duels. Your Dharma rating will be measured in real-time, so waiting for the weekly reset is a thing of the past now. Each hero has an individual Dharma rating, with your overall Dharma rating being a total of your top three heroes. Beating tougher opponents will earn you a lot more Dharma but be warned, losing to weaker opponents could cost you dearly.

When a new season begins, your Dharma will reduce by 50%. If you were at 6000 Karma by the end of season 6, you start season 7 at 3000 Karma. But, this allows you to collect all the rewards until 3000 from the active season immediately!

The competitive leaderboard will be disabled until an update in the near future, which will add a system to allow players to earn a Karma Pass.

Reworked Karma Pass Structure

We’ve heard your feedback on the current Karma Pass progression and have made it easier. The Karma Pass now progresses from level 1 and ends at level 50. The total overall Karma requirement to reach level 50 will be lower than what was previously required to reach level 100. Karma progression is now incremental, and isn’t 1000 Karma per level. So earning the early levels of a Karma pass can be done much faster than before.

Curated Store Experience

With a fresh new look and store UI, rotating bundles now cycle through the store, unique to each player. Legendary and epic cards will be packaged into these bundles.

Bundles will contain a card, coins, and an exclusive Card Avatar.

Daily rewards have received a refresh as well, with a progressive reward system that rewards you the longer you maintain a daily login streak. So get in-game Yodhas, and reap those daily rewards!

The Black Market Trader currently has no cards in stock, and he’s currently not offering players a card not in their collection. These temporary changes have been made due to a bug players were exploiting with the store. We plan on revamping the Black Market Trader to make it easier to get new cards in a future update.

QOL Changes

As requested by players, advanced card library filters have been added to the game! The default cardback has also received a visual overhaul.

Our team gives it their all to create stunning art for the players, and now you get to brandish some of our characters as your Avatars. Head to the store to get your own! The Welcome Bundle and Early Access avatar are still available.

In-game victory animations have been updated, with Dharma progress being added to the post-victory screen.
Indicators for health remaining have been added to story mode, and keep an eye out on your screens for little moments of lore to dive deeper into the world of Kurukshetra: Ascension!

Remember to check in over the next two months and complete your Daily and Weekly Quests to level up your Karma Pass. Other rewards include a ton of gold, shards, and even random cards! With our biggest update so far, we're looking forward to your valuable feedback.

The Apsara Court is our Biggest Update Yet!

Mesmerize the battlefield during the season of The Apsara Court! Let's dive into our biggest update yet![

Greetings Yodhas!

I hope that marching hasn’t tired you out Yodhas, as we have quite the journey before us! We visit The Apsara Court this season, to encounter a new faction of divine performers. Eleven new cards are entering the card pool, with two new properties. Realms have received some major reworks focusing on an elevated roguelike experience. New card frames, a new board, and an overhauled quest system are now live, so let’s just dive into this huge update.

New Karma Pass: The Apsara Court

New Cards

Grab the all-new Karma Pass to instantly unlock THREE cards! Shakuntala, her lover Dushyanta, and their iconic Royal Ring. Scale up the track to unlock the distractingly beautiful Urvashi, who allows you to choose and draw legendary cards from your deck. Hit level 100 to unlock Ghritachi, to prevent your units from being charmed, while also being counter immune! New Apsara cards have also been added to the card pool, so good luck when you open your next card pack!

New Properties

Two new properties enter the game this season: Beloved, a tactician's dream, buffing other units' damage when your beloved unit takes damage. Distract, when timed well, makes your opponent's unit damage useless.

Realm Rework

The next time you load into a realm, things are going to look a little different. New pathways and new challenges await you, with different opponents to choose from on these alternate paths. Replaying a realm has its own rewards too, with shortcuts opening up that allow players to skip certain opponents on their run. A few new mechanics have been added to the campaign such as Card Shuffle, The Forge, Mystery Nodes, and the Mini Store.

Card Shuffle changes the way cards are added to your campaign deck. If at the end of the battle, a player isn’t satisfied with the cards offered to them, they can now reroll to get more options!

The Forge is where you personalize your starter deck. Defeating bosses will earn you forge points which allow you to edit one card in your starter deck per point. These changes are permanent through your future runs. Some forge points can also be present on the map so be on the lookout!

Players will now also encounter Mystery Nodes along the way. These unique nodes on the map are a small break from fighting and allow the player to gamble with their fate. The result can either buff or curse you. Are you willing to take a risk?

The Mini Store is where you can grab some power-ups Yodha! You’ll notice this cart carrying useful wares along your journey. And after hearing player feedback on permadeath, Amrith is being re-added to the game, to give you a second wind when you fall, along with other boosts and consumables.

New Card Frames

Card frames have received an upgrade! Our new stylized border draws inspiration from historical Indian art, while also clearly communicating card rarity. With gray being used for common cards, blue for rare cards, purple for epic cards, and ancient gold for legendary cards.

New Board Design

Your hero now fights directly on the battlefield! Their hero powers have been moved to the left, along with new frames around the hero portrait. The board itself now feels more fluid based on the attack type of the heroes being played and will adapt based on melee or ranged heroes being played. Icons have been added to represent row types, with the range row now appearing slightly raised over the melee row. These changes now make your board truly feel like a battlefield! Icons and board UI have also been slightly refreshed.

Quest Rework

Our quest system has been overhauled completely to reward daily playtime. Log in every day and grab yourself some easy Karma by completing daily tasks. These roll over to the next day once you have made some progress on them. You will now also receive one large quest that you can spend the week completing. This quest, however, does not roll over into the next week, so make sure you complete it for a large chunk of Karma!

Play Your Way

Player choice has been a high priority for us in this update, and we’re changing the way players can approach Kurukshetra: Ascension. On completing the tutorial the Ascension storyline and PvP queue unlock together. So, go ahead and play your way Yodhas!

New Animations

We’re constantly working on improving the visual experience when playing Kurukshetra: Ascension. The forge is one example of the animations we’re overhauling, maps feel more alive, as nodes like the forge build onto the map.

Attack animations have all been updated, and attack properties such as Pierce and Smash are going to look and feel even better than before! Hop in-game to check out all of them.

Minor Hotfix: 20/10/2023

Minor Hotfix: 20/10/23

Made fixes to freezes, desyncs and Story mode

Hotfix: 12th October

Gameplay

- Properties will now be applied even if attacker damage is 0
- Defending target will now counterattack even if their damage is 0
- Defenders will not counterattack if the attacker has Charms, even if they cannot switch due to space constraints

Dev Note: Until now, if the net damage inflicted by a Unit or Hero was 0, properties such as Stuns, Bleeds, etc. did not apply on the target. For e.g if a Shock Archer with 2 damage attacks a Unit with 2 Armour, the target Unit did not get stunned since it took 0 damage. We've decided to let the property apply even if the damage is 0 as it was causing some unforeseen edge cases which led to game desyncs and freezes. We understand that this might cause a slight shift in overall balance but there are more changes planned for future updates

Hotfix

- Pradyota now correctly does not get Tapasya buff even after attacking
- Fixed an issue with Arjuna's divine double causing issues if the hand is full
- Fixed an issue with Alpha causing a freeze if the opponent health was higher than Bheem's
- Corrected some issues that could cause desync in Campaign battles
- Fixed an issue that was causing some units summoned through abilities of Vasuki, Bheem's summon power, Yuvraj, etc. to freeze the game
- Corrected an edge case with Sugriva's passive that was causing desyncs
- Fixed an issue that might cause players to desync in the tutorial
- Various other minor bugs and freezes

Wield the Might of an Empire during the March Of Magadha!

An old king has pulled himself together, quite literally, and has begun his march upon Magadha, once his seat of power. Will you join the march?[

Greetings Yodhas!

Swift was a fun property, wasn't it? But boots on the ground, Yodhas! We are visiting Prithvi this season to join the warrior king Jarasandha, and encounter some familiar faces in mankind's seat of power, Magadha. A new Karma Pass is here and with it, we’ve got ten new cards entering the card pool, including a welcome surprise!

New Karma Pass: March Of Magadha

New Cards

Grab the all-new Karma Pass to instantly unlock the fearsome warrior king, Jarasandha. March up the season track to acquire Jaddan Bai, the wily ex-courtesan who disarms your enemies. Unearth the Mines Of Magadha to collect a valuable Spell Card and deploy your next two units in that turn for free!

New Properties

Two new properties enter the game this season - Disruptor can be devastating in the right hands, allowing you to disable enemy row protection and overwhelm the backline. For defensive play, the Rescue property can come in clutch, returning units to your hand and lowering soma costs.

Arjuna gets a new look

Everyone’s favorite lightning archer has been reskinned! Arjuna now has a new look which we think better reflects his legendary status.
We had a lot of fun designing this and wanted to share it with all of you… so we are! Arjuna’s new skin is a free update for all players.

Tutorial Rework

With this update, new players will experience a reworked tutorial aimed at a clearer explanation of the gameplay mechanics. This should make it easier for new players to dive straight into the game! That’s your cue to invite your friends to the game as the tutorial is now more user-friendly than ever!

Card Pool Expansion

Shikhandi is finally here! The winning entry from the first Community Card Contest stands ready to enter the battle. Inspired by their origin, Shikhandi randomly deploys in either row, buffing up your defenses with the Guard property!

No army is complete without its chariots, so we've added a few as a new faction in-game. The current king of Magadha, Pradyota, has also joined the battle and can be found in card packs along with many others.

QOL Changes

As a major quality-of-life change, we have optimized load times across the board.
Oh, and don’t miss the slick new victory screen animations for all heroes, as well as quest UI tweaks. We hope these additions make smashing your opponents feel all the more rewarding.

Remember to check in over the next two months for Daily Quests and Chapters while chaining in win streaks for that extra Karma. Other rewards include a ton of gold, shards, and even random cards! With so many new additions in the mix, we're looking forward to your valuable feedback.
