We've got some exciting news to share — Labyrinthine is coming to consoles!

What does this mean for me, a PC player?
[p][/p][p]With the release of the console edition, Steam players will be able to play simultaneously with console players — including those playing in VR! This means there will be more ways to play with friends, more lobbies during events, and more opportunities to meet new players![/p][p][/p]
Which consoles will be supported?
[p][/p][p]At launch, both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 will be supported. We may look at other consoles, including backports, in the future.[/p][p] [/p]
Will save data sync between the editions?
[p][/p][p]Save data will remain separate between the different editions.[/p][p][/p]
Is there anything exclusively available on consoles?
[p][/p][p]Other than the pre-order bonuses, the game will be the same. We won't be granting pre-order bonuses to PC players.[/p][p][/p]
When will it be available?
[p][/p][p]The console edition will release on September 18, 2025.[/p][p]Players who pre-order the Xbox edition will be able to play 7 days early on September 11, 2025. [/p]
Our summer event has returned and once again, summer-themed cosmetics are dropping in Labyrinthine. There's no new cosmetics this year just yet, however keep your eyes peeled as we will be releasing more soon!

Labyrinthine Easter 2025
Hello everyone and a happy Easter weekend!
Easter-themed cosmetics are once again dropping Labyrinthine from now until the 7th of May at 12:00am UTC.

Small Patch 19/02/25
- Fixed an issue in VR which prevents the end map from displaying - Fixed an issue with the experience UI where it would display an incorrect amount before updating to the correct one.
Valentine's Day 2025 Cosmetic Event
Hello Maze Dwellers,
It's that time of the year again, where love is in the air! From today until the 22nd, you will be able to find Valentine cosmetics in place of regular cosmetics!
Previous cosmetics are spawning once again, they are the following:
- Red Rose - Blue Rose - Orange Rose - Pink Rose - White Rose - Black Rose - Golden Rose (rare) - Valentine's Heart Hat - Valentine's Love Clothing
As well as that, the following 6 cosmetics are new in 2025:
- Heart and Arrow Glowstick - Pink Ribbon (headwear) - Rose Crown (headwear) - Blue, Pink and Red Bouquet Flashlights

8 Player Lobbies, Speed Increase and More!
Hey Everyone!
We've got some very exciting changes for Labyrinthine. They are as follows:
Support for up to 8 players in a lobby (this may cause some issues on lower end hardware)
Moderately increased speed for both players and monsters
Higher intensity on the flashlight
FOV slider has been added to the options
Lighting has been improved in both Chapter 4 and the Case Files
Reworked the jump animation to feel smoother and removed the "stutter" when jumping
We're excited to see what players think! So far our private and public playtesters have loved the changes. We're hopeful that it's going to be welcomed by the larger Labyrinthine community. For the sake of balance, items will still be 5 per lobby backpack. This is to prevent players from creating a larger lobby and then taking in 10 items, even if there are only 3 players in the lobby.
Alongside that, we also have the following fixes:
Various performance tweaks for players
Performance tweaks for monster navigation in the case files
Fixed a rare issue that made the mines casefile in-completable due to a disconnect pathway
Fixed player's shadow settings not updating for the flashlight if the quality was changed mid-game
Fixed a rare issue that could cause a connection error when joining a lobby
Fixed an area where you could get stuck at the start of Chapter 1
Fixed an error in localisation where it said "press" instead of "hold"
