We're opening up access to the In-Development branch of Landlord's Super.
What is In-Development Branch?
In-Development is a Steam Beta branch that grants players access to the latest developer created builds of Landlord's Super. This means you'll be able to play the latest build of Landlord's Super, before it's released onto the main branch.
Is this the Tenants Update?
This is the first stage of the Tenants update. Though it's very buggy the Tenants gameplay is in the In-Development build.
What else is in the In-Development build?
Other than lots of bugs and issues. Here is a brief overview of the new features available to test in the In-Dev branch:
Tenants - Move tenants into your property!
Enhanced Construction - Destroy and rebuild the entire roof. Knock down and rebuild No-Fines Walls. Destroy and rebuild the concrete foundations.
Two new characters - Meet Totter, and Mitchell
New Notebook Functionality - Record your best cement mixtures and calculate the value of your property
Tool Shed & Supply Yard - Finally, A place to store your tools and supplies
Scrapyard - With new scrap collection gameplay
Shovel - You can buy and use it!
Work Light & Torch - See in the dark!
Pet the Horse - !!!

How do I get involved?
Glad to have you involved. Follow these steps to access the In-Dev Beta Branch:
Right Click on your Landlord's Super install in Steam and select "properties"
Click the Betas tab and then select InDev Indevelopment access
The InDev build should start to download on steam!
Thanks for everyone's patience. The Tenants update is taking longer than I expected because it's just such a major milestone for the game. By opening up access to the In-Development Branch I'm hoping you can help me get the update ready for release quicker.
Please do keep in mind that the In-Dev branch is going to be very unstable and buggy. But also remember to report these issue to me over on the steam forums.

EA 0.004.01 - Fixed interaction dropout bug EA 0.004.02 - Winston now checks arrival area before teleporting there, if there is no space to arrive then he will drive as usual - Fixed missing Winston line "Hey up, you couldn't move this out my way could ya?!" (Winston should now ask you to move things blocking his path) - Ladders & Jobs no longer reset mouse sensitivity - Can now pay less than £10.00 values on loan repayments
EA 0.004.03 (Now live on Steam) - Adjusted vehicle path-finding to be more accurate and reliable - Fixed issue where Winston could load in and drive into the skip - Vehicles now collide with thrown items again - Fixed metal rack loading in as wooden pallet on various delivered & unloaded wooden planks - Pub double doors now open in a consistent manner
EA 0.004.04 (Now Live on Steam) - Fixed plasterboard task not completing issue - Fixed furniture getting stuck issue - Longer screws now take more turns to tighten - Fixed crouching and jumping issues when hauling furniture - Should no longer be able to place furniture if it clips through other objects

Patch EA 0.004.00 (Now Live)
EA 0.004.00 (Now Live on Steam) - Fixed scaffold ladders at church re-spawning - Fixed wooden pallet behind pub being named rock - Scaffolding near the pit is now secured in place - Scaffold wood now produces wooden footsteps - Scaffold built at the church should now save correctly - Should no longer be able to place connectors onto collapsed scaffolding before it has been placed again - Standing on Scaffold boards should now prevent pickup
The actual final patch before work focuses on the Rental gameplay loop. Regular updates will now be coming through the beta branch. More info on how to opt into that when work begins next week.
As usual a big thank you for your patience and understanding with all this. I'm continuing to work hard and am really excited to get tenants (and maybe squatters) into your buildings. So you're all aware, I'm hoping Rental gameplay should take no more than 2 - 3 months, but it depends on how much I end up putting into the update and how complex the issues I come up against are.

Added a much needed end note for players who complete the current building content in the game. Much the same as players who pay off their loan, once you've finished all the building tasks I'll send you a present in the post (in-game).
It doesn't do much right now, but it'll remain with you right up until the game releases and you can look at it sitting in your caravan and say "I was there". A tiny thank you for the support you've shown so far.
With all that said, I'll be focusing on working on the first major content update now. So expect updates to slow slightly. Next news should be able accessing the beta client, which will allow you to test rental gameplay and any new features (not yet available).

Big list of minor changes. I still need to look into the furniture issues, but once furniture is fixed updates will slow down as I'll be working on content. The reason for updates to slow is that it is going to take a while to get the first big content update out. However, I will be opening up a BETA branch for players who want to test this content early. News on this next week.

Focusing a bit more on bricks and mortar these last two days, but am starting to move over into looking at the furniture and fixture issues. I think once the furniture has been given a good going over I can start working on the Rental game-play. More info in the next update!

Hi all. Thanks again for reporting these issues, your help is making it quick and easy to find and fix these issues. I've still got to work through a bunch more, but thought I'd get a quick patch up to fix the more severe issue. Details below
