For now it seems like the big issues have been fixed in the In-Dev (correct me in the comments with repro-steps if this isn't the case). So I'm going to return to content creation for a short while again. Ideal situation then is another round of bug testing, then releasing into the main branch. But I imagine that's still a while off.

Thanks.

In-Dev Patch 0.005.06 Now Live

In-Dev Build 0.005.06 (Now Live on Steam In-Dev Branch)
- Fixed roof tile destruction potential save load issue
- Fixed roof valuation issue
- No longer count loose roof tiles to the property value
- Finally found and fixed the long standing very annoying loose bricks issue

Slightly smaller change list today as I spent most of the day hunting down the loose brick issue. I'm happy to say I finally tracked it down and crushed that big bad bug!

No longer will your houses contain flaccid bricks. Over are the days of brick tasks failing to complete. All praise the brick placing glory of Landlord's Super's brick by brick gameplay! Hooray (finally, sorry it took so long it was a real hard bug to track down).

Tomorrow I need to fix some stuff attributed to roof wood and tiles not saving and loading entirely correctly. Hopefully I can also make time to tighten up the tile placement too as it feels a bit janky to me. After that, I'm on holiday for a week so I'll be back to work sometime on the week of the 24th.

Thanks for all the help and continued support!

Greg

In-Dev Patch 0.005.03 Now Live

In-Dev Build 0.005.03 (Now Live on Steam In-Dev Branch)
- Fixed Tenant save data carrying over into new playthroughs
- Fixed pink screwdriver on Front-End
- Some changes to physics that should hopefully stop the bucket destroying the house

Requested for Testing:

Thanks,
Greg

In-Dev Patch 0.005.02 Now Live

In-Dev Build 0.005.02 (Now Live on Steam In-Dev Branch)
- Fixed save and load corruption caused by Work Light and Torch
- Fixed save and load corruption caused by destroying sinks
- Fixed Work light carry position
- Fixed Work Light initial switch position
- Fixed No-Fines Notebook text alignment issue
- Fixed issue where players could load old save data thus corrupting it
- Fixed site To Let sign material issue
- Fixed Water Spout disappearing when Tenant is renting
- Fixed issue with pouring No-Fines onto the floor
- Fixed several issues with Mix Strength and No-Fines
- Fixed trowel pickup not reducing the aggregate amount from a No-Fines mixture
- Fixed Cement Mixers not loading No-Fines mixture correctly

Could not reproduce the following issues, more info needed:
- Cement mixers next to skip crash
- Tenant letters being delivered before speaking with Mitchell
- Using ladders to go through the ground / being thrown from a ladder (video required)

Known Issues :
- Tenants can break window glass, but there's is currently no way of replacing the glass.

I'm aware of a lot of the current issues, but there's only so many working hours in the day. I've tried to focus on the most important issues for today - the save and corruption bugs. There shouldn't be anymore save and load issues, though loading into a corrupt save will likely still give you issues, so it's safest to start a new game.

Thanks to everyone for all the help over the weekend. It's already making progress a lot quicker as evident in fixing these serious issues. Do continue to report any issues you find and I'll continue to keep fixing them.

Thanks,
Greg
